fxbot: see you trying to put blame on a businessman but leaving your people out of it.
A man says he wants to establish his business that will develop your region and employ your people but you chose to extort money from him far more than it is required, he pays through his nose and you expect him to treat your people well? Well, we are here talking about oil companies. The OIC's are in the SS through the sole permission of the FG. The NDans doesn't extort money to allow them stay, not to talk of far more than is required. The demands on them is to mind the safety of the environment of the host community, which is their source of livelihood. And you and I know they haven't done so. Even the much touted clean-up in ogoni has not yet gotten out of the garage. |

BossKratos: You cannot compare where I live, abuja and kaduna with most parts of the niger delta! We have a fair amount of good infrastructure, it is safe, power supply is good, businesses and jobs are enabled and crime is minimal!
You know why, because the leaders of these places HAVE A PLAN! The same can be said for lagos and edo! We all come from places were there is corruption and looting of states funds and all that but how come in these other places still THINGS STILL GET DONE?
But there is always a comma attached to the naija delta! Look I served in government house in bayelsa state years ago and then I worked all over rivers state for 3 years before I bounced back to a saner society in abuja, so I KNOW YOUR REGION like the back of my hand! Believe what you will and keep deluding yourself...................... Abuja ke. Abuja is a cosmopolitan city, nobody comes from abuja nowadays, rather everybody wants to be from abuja. So don't make example with abuja. Nobody wants to live where the money that makes abuja what it is. Well, I don't think we need dwell much on this argument. The fact is that there is environmental degradation in the SS, owing to the peculiar nature of oil mining, a situation which the oil companies ve failed to correct despite being signatory to various environmental convention/laws. The militancy is a fallout of such neglect, which I believe u saw during your short stay in the hood, and is the reason why u wanted a saner clime. |

BossKratos:

Will you shattap? See the tripe you just posted! You think the lagos or edo state governments would sit back and be watching the environment get degraded while pocketing the money meant for the environments clean up and be using it to drink, sleep wth hoes and buy cars and houses?
Your people will never learn! Your leaders are your worst enemies but tribalism would never make you notice this! Who colludes with the oil companies to ignore the spillage? Naija deltans! Who receives billions in allocations from both the states allocation as well as through the nddc with nothing to show for it? Naija deltans! Whose brother was the president for 6 years and did not do 1 thing to uplift his people or tackle the problems of the naija deltan's environment? The same naija deltan!
You guys are a joke! Keep looking for hausa, yoruba, igbo, tivs, koma, kabba and ishan to blame you hear, no blame una selves 1st! I don't know how to respond to you, having regards to your expression drift. What makes edo and lagos state govt different from their counterparts down SS? Your views are welcomed. Most of the things u find wrong with having a president from a region happened with OBJ, and the whole northern heads of state, without a complementary input in their states of origin. I guess states like kastina and Ogun are more developed than all other states having produced heads of states in the recent past. Or our federal legislators with their constituency allowance which they ALL pocket, buy cars and spend on hoes. The reason for any people based agitation is the failure of govt based intervention. And this play out federation-wide, not limited to ND. As if our leaders are different from your leaders when they collude to choose who to defend or abandon based on THEIR pockets, not yours. |

ba7man: Luckily, a lot of people in the Southwest can differentiate between healthy profit and business greed.
The greedy ones are still there but rather than shield them and copy their style, we confront and expose them. You can say so much about what your people will do. Everybody has a good story about his family. While acknowledging what I said earlier, You haven't yet said how your people will tackle the greed of businessmen when they go over-board with govt collusion. |

What kind of post is this? The communities you cited in lagos and Edo will start behaving like the ND militants once the companies start treating them like the IOC's are presently treating/degrading the ND. Nobody hates investment, but those communities ve an existence before those mega companies, which will continue after the company makes their money and pack up. |

The situations that comes to tempt/try a christian are similar in nature. But the difference lies in this; To God, it is trial To satan, it is temptation. God is watching you to succeed and triumph, the devil is expecting you to give up. See it Gods way, and you will rather count it all joy and glorify God that you are found worthy to be tried.
