Now - Usually, I don't talk about these things but if y'all criticizing this guy, you are not fair. If there is one thing I am determined not to manage when I get married, it's sex. For crying out loud, the drive is only going to last for maybe 20 years, so why would I lie with a man who's so unwilling? I don't blame the poster.

At least, he did not get a mistress. He respects her that much. I applaud him for that.
However, if his wife is still stuck in teenage years, I hope he really considers it carefully. I think it's his mistake cos she did not change after the marriage, she was like that all along.

My own is better know if you want a divorce cos once children enter, it's a harder decision.

Trust? Someone is gullible.

Snooping can destroy relationships, and snooping can save you from a world of trouble.  Depends on how you look at it.  Glass is half full or half empty.  Feel me?
You are not serious. I see snooping as bad if you have no basis for why you feel you needed to snoop.
I trust my partner does not mean I am gullible. It means he has given me no reason to think otherwise.
C2H5OH:
If someone gives you a reason to feel suspicious, you are not imagining it.
I would encourage you to follow your gut instinct.  It's usually accurate.
My point EXACTLY!
RomanceRe: How Did You Feel When You Got Dumped Or Dumped Your Ex by Moonstone(f): 6:44am On Mar 30, 2009
C2H5OH:
Depends on where you put the guy. I could never understand these games people way. Whatever happened to being open and honest with one another. Why even bother to attempt to love at all if you have predetermined that you will only half-ass it?
That's what happens. You attempt to be open, they hurt you and then by the time they break up with you, you're almost over it. There are signs to warn you of impending break-ups. You have to be observant in relationships.
topup:
It depends on your definition of hurt, what hurts is not what anybody has done to me, but instead the fact that once again, you get that I TOLD YOU SO, in the back of your head, you have to go back to the beginning and undo everything you've done for the duration of the relationship.
You give back all the compliments, the "I love you"s and you are forced to take back the ones you hoped you never had to take - and you never believed in taking back things you give.

Without being over sentimental, I am not that girl who thinks of wedding bells, but even if the future is not a painted picture, whatever abstract image I painted in my head is now distroyed, someone poured black paint all over it, and it's now so dark and I can't tell whether I'm alone or if you're still there.

Then after a while of stumbling around, it's clear, I'm alone, there's no one else here, no one else is going to pick me up and take me back to the start. I have to fumble for myself. That's fine, it's just with everything being so dark, I just wish I could see where I'm going.

Wow, I lost track I thought I was writing another blog entry there tongue

I agree with you to an extent. I know what you mean but I believe when a relationship has run its course, there's nothing you can do to stop it from ending or you will hate your life with that person. It's better to let it go.

Nice analysis.  Being in a relationship is no reason to lose your individual space.

I am all for snooping.  Some people have found out that their husbands had second lives, by snooping.  Suspicious behavior gave it away.  You could never be too sure until you actually have proof.  Even if it hurts.
You are all for snooping? There should be trust, snooping can destroy relationships because your partner will know there is no trust there. What then? Suspicious behavior is a reason to snoop, I agree. . . especially after probing and getting no answers.
But to snoop just because of insecurity is not a legit reason.

It depends on where you put the guy. It's a light switch if you want it to be a light switch.
Guys have hurt me before but not by breaking up with me. Usually when we break up, I'm actually tired of trying so it does not pain me anymore.

I am more and more convinced that the reason we keep recyclying these old goons is because many Nigerians actually go out to vote them in at the end of the day. I mean it is so easy for us to blame rigging and what not for all this but when you consider what has been happening over the last 2 years, you wonder if it is not the case that the people actually go out to vote these same people in.
No way! Money makes the world go round in Nigeria in a spectacular way. You are right though - it is a cycle. You get a charismatic person who can charm a couple of big guys like crazy, he moves on to get the party nomination, they use their political godfathers to buy votes. People buy into their crap and then they enter govt and steal money which they use to get re-nominated and then re-elected. Nigerians are nice enough to actually go and vote but our rigging is one that is out of this world. Number of voters exceed those who are dead AND alive in many LGs. It's ridiculous. So these men actually go out and buy voting cards as well to rig the election.

Crazy, isn't it?
