bawomolo:Well we can't say yet. Who knows? Brandon Roy might win MVP. I kinda agree with you though. That's why I asked why MVPs can't come from teams in the playoffs. Dwayne deserves some recognition and we all know that D. Wade has had his moments. I believe an MVP has to be able to affect his team and there are a lot of players that do that. Why can't we narrow them even down to D. Rose and Danny Granger? Those guys have more effect on their teams than Kobe has on Lakers because Lakers have a lot of good players. |
davidylan:Well it does not seem that way from your arguments. People like Pataki shouting that we should stone them for being homosexuals, that's a very different ball game because we are attacking them based on the fact that they are attracted to people of the same sex. If there is one thing I have learnt, we need to separate church from state in a lot of circumstances. If the state makes a decision to approve gay marriage, fine! If churches or mosques start to marry gay couples, then I have a huge problem because it goes against our rules. As for now, Nigeria should not support gay marriage if they think we are not at that stage to accept them. We are still too close-minded for that but to ban homosexuality all together will never be possible. |
bawomolo:I agree but one player can only do so much. Look at Celtics, they have a lot of good players. Spurs, Lakers, even Rockets. Bawo, don't make me beat you for that answer. Ask my peeps, I can be very aggressive and you can't handle it. Leave my darling team out of your mouth . Example: Brandon Roy, we know he's very good and he's very valuable to his team, isn't that enough to make him MVP? Why does it have to be based on a team? The reason why I'm really considering this is because Chris Webber made a very good point about that. . . I kinda agree with him. I don't think it's fair but maybe that's just the way B-ball was meant to be. |
Clippers is very different. Why can't the MVP come from a team in the playoffs? Should individuals be penalized because their team mates can't play ball as well as they do? |
bawomolo:I don't know why they haven't gotten that point into their knuckleheads yet. Just because some of us support the idea that gay people should have rights to be considered as human beings does not mean we think it should become the default sexuality of the world or something like that. Every man should be able to live his life UNTIL he goes too far (by committing a crime in his actions). At this rate, I'm going to become a gay activist sef. . . ah ahn! |
Okay - I just watched the NBA-TNT tipoff discussion yesterday and they had a very interesting argument on the simplest thing I thought I knew till today .Who is an MVP? The 3 contenders they had for last night's games were Kobe Bryant, D. Wade and LeBron James (I found it even more interesting that no Spurs player was mentioned but hey, I ain't complaining ). It was all based that on the individual level, D.Wade has made the best progress but then again, he won't be MVP just because he does not have the best team mates. On the other hand, Kobe and LeBron have not made as much progress as D. Wade has made in the past couple of days but they have better teams which will enable them to win MVP. Do you guys think it's fair that the MVP has to come from the winning team? @ Jesoul, Y'all should have gotten your e-chocolates by now or do I have to go to USPS? |
I love it when a guy knows how to do his part in a relationship (it's not aone-way traffic, some idiots still can't get that right ) |
Thanks! It sounds heavenly. . . I like the fact that he has a mixtape with free and very accessible illegal music. Dang! He's nothing like maintain. He's showing everyone that he has a lot more to offer. |
Macteejay2:AH AHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even know where to start with this one. Abused, mostly. Gay, hell no! MrCrackles:From a trusted source |
debosky:Neither can children because they can't decide if they want to be violated. We have taught children especially in our culture that adults are ALWAYS right. Should we then go ahead and promote that one too? This is going to open a can of worms that we won't be able to close. It's not cross breeding if offspring don't result either. |
Are south african women more educated than Nigerian women?
With that question, you have started WW3. |
bawomolo:They won't find anything. I've been following up on that research and their results will be inconclusive because they are grasping at straws. As for the environment - that's where the school thing happens. You're with people of the same sex all the time, at some point. . . thoughts start being processed. MrCrackles:then what is your beef with that? If you went to KC, you would have known. Unspeakable things happened at night from what i heard. ![]() |
MrCrackles:But you can't say that you didn't experience such at KC. My cuz went there and I've heard a LOT of stories. Those guys know how to keep themselves busy, don't they? ![]() bawomolo:It's a combination of confusion and boredom. Idle hands are a devil's workshop. Those that are surrounded by women and follow men are actually gay because they want to be. There are people that are gay in schools and when they leave, they go off and marry people and say they are straight but were 'experimenting'. People are allowed to experiment now, aren't they? If you're confused, taste both and see which is better. For people like us, I know there's nothing I find sexy about girl-on-girl or whatnot. You're not well at all. As for the gay bar thing, it's fun. Wait till i send you the address. You can go check it out with straight friends . ![]() |
MrCrackles:NO WONDER! The truth has come out at last. Share your experience with us, Brash. How did you fight them off? You guys that are strongly against this stuff have been close to the gay point shey? Brash and Bawo, you guys should talk, I can be your therapist. Poor victims ![]() |
bawomolo:You are not well at all, bawo! ![]() My college dorms are co-ed, so the only thing I have heard is sounds of straight sex. Schools like KC and QC have done damage to some people but when most of them come out, they revert to straight peeps. |
bawomolo:Shuo! Didn't I invite you? ![]() Gay bars have the best music and the coolest guys. You know that if you're dancing with them, there's no need to guard yourself as a girl. . . . my very STRAIGHT friend dragged me there and they have really nice upscale decor, too. ![]() |
0thello:Please show me the proof and I'll keep quiet. What is the genetic basis for this. What part of the brain makes you like someone that is the same sex like you. What method of natural selection condones such act? oyb:Deal with it? Do you know what that has on you as a person? The sight is awful fine. But if you read what I said, they are very open about their sexuality. I have had some really cool lesbian friends and when they start talking about their sexual relations, it takes me every muscle in my body not to bolt. The thing about Homosexuality is that because they are a minority when it comes to sexuality, they feel the need to overflaunt it and try and make people feel comfortable with that concept. One of them was talking to me telling me how she and her girlfriend did some stuff. Granted, I'm cool with the fact that she's a lesbian, how do you tell her you're not comfortable with that aspect of her life? Have you been to a gay bar? Obviously, you have not dealt with how they force their choice on you. They know no one is comfortable with this aspect, yet they go ahead and keep trying to make you comfortable by being TOO open. There's a thing like TMI. As long as they don't flaunt it too much (and I can't stand this from anyone Straight, Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Transgender), I'm fine with it. If not that my parents will behead me, I will stand up for the rights of homosexuals, they deserve to be treated like humans. |
RSA:You know what I like most about this statement? It does not mean they are. . . it means they consider themselves. Get over it RSA. We know you love your people a whole lot |
Badriyyah:Ummm. . . if you can prove to me that a mutation in the gene composition can make someone gay (which is what most people claim), then please do. Most guys become gay out of sheer boredom and confusion (in my opinion). How is a man born gay? What is the basis for that? Don't get me wrong o! I don't mind if they are gay but they should invoke pity on themselves by saying they were born gay. If they are androgynous, then they can say something along those lines |
oyb:Let me outline them for you. They make you feel very very very uncomfortable with yourself. Imagine walking down the street and see two guys heavily making out as in hands going places, the whole nine yards and tell me what you will do. They just really make you feel uncomfortable and a lot of them are so open about their sexuality. What they do is to describe their experiences to you in detail, step-by-step. . . .leaving nothing out. They tell you they are Hot and tell you what they feel like doing. They describe someone's body to you and if you're a guy, it's really gross. If you're a girl, it's very shameful. It's a brutal experience. Fortunately, I only dealt with that in my undergrad. |
MoVinTrAin:My thoughts exactly I do feel it is a great start though. A good beginning so far. If it works for them, maybe other states can implement it. |
This is ridiculous! Not the news but the way y'all are attacking them. I will never ever be a homosexual but I feel they have rights. Why should we treat certain human beings differently when we all have access to the basic human rights. Bestiality is a different level entirely. I don't believe animals can communicate their feelings or actually have minds to think. They have instincts and if you own an animal and you want to sleep with it, FINE! Just don't do it in front of me and my family and don't let me see it. If you can respect that, you can have sex anywhere with your animal. That is my same feeling towards homosexuality. It's not something the world is used to as a whole. As long as they don't make love in front of me or start making out in front of me, I'm cool with it. Nigerians are so close-minded that they fail to realize that we are very vulnerable to western influences. If naija girls see western girls in bikinis, they do the same. Whether we like it or not, homosexuality is an issue both in the bible and our country. I am sure even in Shari'a places, they have their own forms of homosexuality. They are not just open about it. I prefer getting a situation like this out of the way because there are too many homophobes in Nigeria. Some of them will now come here and to other places and start living their flamboyant lifestyles. Just because we are not used to it does not mean we should not allow them to live their lives. All I ask is don't bring it to my front and I'm fine. |
SHENANIGAN: Chei! Na wa o! That hatred is too much abeg. They might sue you for that statement. |
bawomolo:LMAO! I wanted to say the same thing. At least Arsenal sha won after giving y'all heart attacks. . . All of you must have died and gone to heaven 8 times yesterday ![]() As for today. . . It was very very splendid for me. Manchester United and Hornets won, Dallas beat Portland, Lakers beat Houston. . . Once again, we might actually be 3rd. Every team but us has lost more than 23 games (apart from Spurs and Lakers). What a good feeling. In Jesoul's words 'Hornetstone is too happy today'. Bulls and Celts lost . . . so i'm getting y'all e-chocolates. I hope you guys get it soon. ![]() |
OH my gosh! This thread is hilarious. . . ![]() tboy - you got hard watching lala and co? Gosh! Y'all make me wanna watch people smoke weed. Hesperus:LMAO! Please keep it coming. . . i love it all. |
JeSoul: I'm regretting asking you already ![]() You broke it down well enough. . . too much sef. Today, I doff my hat to you. ![]() We're playing today again. . . I hope Utah loses. It's now a prayer for me to hope Utah loses. It's too much for their heads. I wish all the good teams (excluding the bulls) good luck. ![]() |
I don't know where to start my laughter for but congrats guys. An Arsenal fan told me that if Man U could beat Roma 7-1 at home, Arsenal can demolish them both at home and away since you are better by far. I guess Arsenal proved him right today. ![]() How is it that our beloved Eduardo missed a Penalty and Walcott gave that drastic excuse for a penalty. . . it entered anywayz so I guess it worked both ways. All English sides are through - this is going to be an awesome quarter finals. Out of all the English teams, it was you guys that made it look so difficult. Imagine Roma giving y'all hypertension. I absolutely love today ![]() |
The suspense is too much. . . I need the game to be over jare. I'm thankful that I have class now if not I would have had hypertension by now. It's crazy. |
This is complete rubbish jare. ![]() After how many trophies we've won? It doesn't matter newayz, according to our results last year, we are the best club in the world. There's nothing no stupid ranking can change about that, right? |
unfaded:Okay now i'm beginning to think guys are jealous that straight girls do this. . . we don't cuddle as such. What type of cuddling? doyin13: That is it! That's the last straw. . . Doyin has lost his flipping marbles. LOL - This is flipping hilarious. Let the Oga of Playboy mansion catch you. But just for kicks, who's who in the picture? ![]() |
Seun:Oh it's even good you're here. Why are you so adamant about the location? If I said I was in France instead of Singapore. . . fine! But it's just us being ridiculous |
touchmeder:How do you explain that you were so high you started grinding on another man? It's subconscious tendencies. Your inhibitions are always set free when you're high or drunk. DaPhoenix:Exactly! I can't wait jare. . . it's a clear evidence. |
