This has become the subject of debate on social media this morning. Singer Iceprince Zamani feels the right thing to do is to ask your husband before attending a party. Iceprince Zamani who has a party this Sunday, told OAP Toolz in this video, that before he can invite her to his birthday party this Sunday, he needs to take permission from her husband, Captain Tunde Demuren.

Some people thought it was not a good decision while some men thought it was a wise thing to do. And as you may think, most of the people that disagreed with him are ladies.

Crowned Prince Eheneden Erediauwa was today being Thursday 20th October, 2016 crowned the 39th Oba of Benin Kingdom at a colourful ceremony and he has chosen a name already. Prince Erediauwa was crowned at about 2 am by the Usama N’ Ihiron also known as the Edion led by Chief Oliha.

The new name of the crowned king is "His Royal Majesty Oba Ewuare II of Benin Kingdom"

Stephanie Okereke – Linus has in recent times enjoyed an upsurge in her career. Not only is she now a respected actress, she is also a well-regarded filmmaker in the world. She took it a bit further.

She recently appeared in a Hollywood movie titled Boonville Redemption alongside other international actors such as, Pat Boone, Diane Ladd, Edward Asner, Emily Hoffman, Nicholas Neve Shari Rigby and Richard Tyson.

This is really a huge step for her and a welcomed development in Nigeria Nollywood. The movie she stared in touches on the issue of Slave Trade in America. It sees Stephanie play the role of Doris, a compassionate lady who forms a bond with Belinda, a young girl in search of her biological father.

Doris is a free slave living with her uncle and she makes it a duty to be kind-hearted, taking care of 13-year-old Belinda’s grandmother, Miss Mary, as well as providing shelter for a young boy. The film was directed by Don Schroeder.

Nigeria's first gay pastor, founder of secret gay church, House of Rainbow, Rowland Jide Macaulay has said being homosexual was honourable. He took to his Instagram page @Jidemacaulay expressing the joy and freedom he enjoys for accepting that he is gay rather than self- infliction by pretending to be heterosexual.

He wrote:

"To be a homosexual is honourable, a gift from God. It is who I am. God makes no mistakes. Knowing the truth as a gay Christian is liberating and gives me the most joy of my freedom. "I have paid the price for lying to be heterosexual, Pretending to be who you are will only harm you.

"Everyone was hurt, my father, mother, wife, son, my siblings, in-laws, friends and relatives etc.
"I was FORCED to lie. I justified these lies with religion, culture, tradition and law.
"I lied to myself for all of my adolescence; I lied to my family and friends. Because I didn't know any better.
"I lied to my ex-wife because I was afraid of telling the truth.
"I lied in my prayers asking God to cure me of homosexuality instead of helping me to come to terms.
"My religious belief and dogma nearly killed me. I wrongly married a woman and badly hurt everyone.
"I suffered emotional and psychological breakdown and through it all I survived."

The judiciary is now intimidated by the FG. It is now as worst as that. The judge in charge of the Dasuki case, Justice Adeniyi Ademola has withdrawn from the trial of former national security adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki. Ademola, justice of the federal high court, whom the Department of State Services (DSS) accused of corruption, has announced his decision to withdraw from the trial before the court today being Tuesday 18th October 2016.

According to reports on The Cable, Ademola cited allegations of corruption levelled against him by the DSS, which is the prosecution in the case, as the reason for his action. The DSS raided Ademola’s house, and arrested him on October 7.

The secret police claimed it found huge sums of money — foreign currencies — in his possession. In response to the allegations, the judge wrote to the chief justice of Nigeria, claiming he was being harassed and intimidated by the DSS for granting bail to Dasuki and Nnamdi Kanu, director of Radio Biafra.

Just when Nigerians thought the economy is getting back to its feet, it has taken another blow. The Emirates Airline, one of the biggest foreign airlines operating in Nigeria, has said it is stopping flight operations to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja with effect from October 22, 2016.

In another development, East African carrier Kenya Airways, has also announced that it will suspend flights to Abuja with effect from November 15, 2016 as part of its restructuring and loss saving efforts. These developments are all because of their inability to get their hands on forex.

It was reported that Emirates had since formally written the Minister of State, Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika over its intention to stop flight operations into Abuja following the airline’s inability to buy forex and remit its sales. The letter was received by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation on behalf of the Minister, Rotimi Amaechi.

According to the source, the said letter indicated 22nd October 2016 as the date Emirates would suspend the Abuja flight operations if respite did not come their way. The source said if after weeks of the Abuja suspension, no drastic change happened, Emirates would also suspend Lagos operations indefinitely. When that occurs, Emirates would have exited the Nigerian market.

“Emirates has huge money in naira at the banks. It cannot repatriate its sales because it cannot buy dollars. This is having negative effect on their operations,” the source said. On its part, the Kenya Airline indicated that the suspension of its Abuja flights was triggered by the dwindling traffic from Abuja to Nairobi, the airline’s operational hub.

Kenya Airways CEO Mbuvi Ngunze in a statement said the airline would, however, continue to operate its daily flight from Lagos to Nairobi.

The strong statement by Mr. President is still generating a lot of ripples in Nigeria till today expecially with Nigeria ladies and mothers. Actress Hilda is now the latest to react to the statement and with strong words too.

Hilda Dokubo is a Nigerian film actress and youth advocate who once served as special adviser on youth affairs to Peter Odili, a former governor of Rivers State.

She reacted to the statement President Buhari made about where his wife belongs, as she took to her Instagram page to post this video saying she doesn’t belong to the kitchen or the other rooms. She said the "other room" Buhari is talking about is the toilet and that she does not belong there.
