The peoples democratic party PDP which is now the opposition party in Nigeria after APC wrestled power from them in the 2015 elections, has called for the resignation of President Buhari following the new statistics released Wednesday by the National Bureau of Statistics, indicating that Nigeria is currently experiencing economic recession. The party made the call in a statement released today.

Part of the statement reads:

'Nothing better showcases the absolute ineptitude and incompetence of the Muhammadu Buhari administration than the GDP, Inflation and unemployment figures released by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics today. These figures reveal what we have repeatedly said over the last 15 months , President Buhari is destroying the Nigerian economy.

For the avoidance of doubt, some of these figures include: GDP contracted by -2.06% in Q2 2016. In contrast, the economy grew by 2.35% in Q2 2015. This was worse than -0.36% in Q1 2016. Headline Inflation for July 2016 stands at 17.1%. It was 16.5% in June 2016. Food inflation was 15.58% for July 2016 from 15.3% in June 2016. Portfolio investment declined to $245.3m in Q2 2016. This is a 9.5% from $271.0m in Q1 2016 & is a far cry from $2.81bn in Q2 2015. FDI declined from $211.1m in Q2 2015 and $174.4m in Q1 2016 to an estimated $133.0m in Q2 2016. Total value of capital imported in Q2 2016 is estimated at mere $647.1m.

This is the lowest quarterly figure since Nigeria started keeping records of capital importation. It is a decline from $710.9 m in Q1 2016 & a far cry from $2.67bn in Q2 2015. A total of 4,580,602 people have lost their jobs since May 29, 2015. The number of persons in full time employment decreased by 351,350 in Q2 2016 compared to Q1 2016.

The result of these indices is that Nigeria is in its worst economic state for 29 years – dating back to 1987 when the nation had to take harsh steps to recover from President Buhari's policies of 1984-85. As with 1984-85, companies are fleeing our shores in droves.

Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) recently stated that more than 272 companies have shut down in the past 1 year. Furthermore, like we suffered in 1984-85, we are suffering a brain drain where our best & brightest talents are leaving the country in search of a better life elsewhere.

It is disheartening that the Buhari administration is destroying the Nigerian economy & our collective future by the implementation of his archaic & incoherent economic policies which failed in 1984-85 & are failing spectacularly now. Our dismay is made worse by the fact that every sphere of the Nigerian socio-political space (ranging from the conduct of elections human rights, respect for the rule of law, security, technology, health etc) is negatively affected by Buhari's government.

We join all well meaning Nigerians to call on Buhari to resign if he is unable to reverse the economic decline he has brought on us. May God bless Nigeria, especially in these very difficult times".

I don't know if this should be bad good because while some are complaining about it, many ladies out their cannot do without it. Apparently, A married woman has cried out for help after she found out that her husband is addicted to sucking her private parts. He cannot sleep unless he does it she said. This is a shocking news. Tupac was 25-years-old when he was gunned down but not everyone is so convinced about what happened that night and ever since his death in 1996, there have been theories that Tupac Shakur is actually alive and well, or hiding out in Cuba.

Most of the claims of people spotting the star, or him being pictured, have turned out to be doctored photos or lookalikes but now a YouTube video has emerged that claims to PROVE Tupac has been with us all along.

The video which includes a selfie of a man wearing a bandanna who bears an uncanny resemblance to the fallen hip hop star. It is claimed the man is “Tupac guys 100% same eyebrows and lips”.

The subtitles in the video state the photo are a “selfie” taken in 2015 on a phone “made in 2011″ – 11 years after his death. The YouTube channel behind the video, does stress it is “not 100% he is alive but I want to share my view”. (naij. com' view).

Last year, a retired police officer claimed he was paid $1.5million to help the star fake his own death. David Myers, who was on his deathbed at the time, said: “The world needs to know what I did. I’m ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know.”

Over 30 people were reportedly paid to help fake his death including police, medics and various witnesses.

If you see the kind road wey be express way that side.hmmmm I say trailer for just climb our car if not for God that took the hand of our driver and we got ourselves in the bush. All of us that day came out via the both of the sienna carrying us.

The road can hardly enter two cars (going and coming) very well, in fact one has to shift and almost getting into bush just to let the other car pass and lo and behold this monster that called themselves trailer driver just took the whole road with speed oooo and on a sharp corner.

We just ran into the bush and by God's grace no body sustained injury.

As a matter of fact, this is the part many couples wait for as they know they would make enough money from dancing.

Check out watin dem use money do for this wedding. No be small thing ooo. Some people spray money in bulk while some simply pour the notes in a bundle on the couple. They move on to the next bundle of money and do the same thing. We have seen parties where people spray the celebrants with money in order to intimidate the other people there.

A member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon Ibrahim Samaila representing Tudun Wada Constituency, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. The lawmaker was kidnapped at ‎Abakpa community in Kaduna North Local Government area of the state yesterday August 22nd.

The kidnappers who drove in a Sienna space bus, double-crossed the car the lawmaker was driving in, shot into the air to scare off passers-by and pulled the lawmaker into their vehicle.

Samaila's abductors have contacted his wife and are demanding N70 million ransom.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Aliyu Usman said the technical and anti-kidnapping squad of the command were already on the trail of the kidnappers.

The incident that happened not too long again involving two government officials has taken another twist. An officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Segun Enikuemehin was brutalized by soldiers in Jibowu, Lagos.

Mr Enikuemehim, who was stabbed in the eye after pleading mercy for a civilian being tortured by the soldiers, describes the event leading to the incident and gives update on his treatment and arrest of the culprit and demand for full wait of the law over the soldiers.
