People just like twisting this man's words. When he said people should respect others faith he was also referring to the killers who couldn't respect the victim's faith. It's a two way thing and the respect should be mutual.
My dear am not in PdP or Apc but the president was totally wrong. whose faith was in question here? The killers or the victim? let's call a horse a horse, not a donkey that runs fast!
Politics › Re: Goodluck Jonathan And Buhari In Secret Meeting In Aso Rock by Morizo(m): 9:50am On Jun 04, 2016
Guyman02:
We expect GEJ to brief the President on how he can transform himself into a father for all as many had anticipated during the elections.

It is frustration and hardship that can make his brethren in faith in Kano and Niger States to behead a Christian woman and men over claims of blasphemy in a manner that is even contrary to Islamic injunctions.

The nation is sinking and needs to be rescued by all citizens. Buhari made mistakes by segregating against citizens who did not vote for him and this was aptly reflected starting from his initial appointments into his kitchen cabinet; people like General Danbazau (Minister of Interior) who cannot hide his bigotry should be shown the way out of his govt. He needs to reach out to leaders in the South East and South South who are getting more angered by the use of the military against their people and invasion of their communities.
The people of Benue, Taraba, Enugu, Ekiti who have lost loved ones to Fulani herdsmen assumed to be Buharis kinsmen needs empathy from the President and not silence.

His utterances of goodwill to the citizens can revive the economy like Obama did for America, when something bad happens in any part of the country he should reach out to people in those areas, we watch on CNN how Obama stops everything he is doing even if he is outside US to address the nation when there is a mass shooting or even accident, he comforts the bereaved families and tells them that the whole America mourns with them and feels their pain, somethings he cries along with them even if it is fake tears , thats leadership and reassuring for the people which Nigerians also expect from their leader; that way he can rebuild confidence of Nigerians and even his enemies will struggle to have something bad to say about him.
When he is abroad and somebody says Nigerians are corrupt he should not accept, but when he comes back he can tell us at home how corrupt we are and flog those who are corrupt using the law and not condemn his citizens in front of some white guys who are more corrupt than us.

Anyone who says he doesnt like Nigeria and wants to protest peacefully should be allowed, even many people in Texas says they hate America and want to have their own country are not shot at by security agencies, they go around collecting signatures for a referendum which they have not been able to achieve the required number for years because it is their right to freedom of expression.
In the UK there was a referendum by Scottish independence activist last year which failed.

The President needs to look into the confab report and see areas where he can borrow some ideas from that document, he must stop being rigid and know that it is more difficult to be a leader under a democratic dispensation than military where you rule with decrees.
GoodLuck Buhari!
you nailed it bro.nice one

So would being,"very very rude" amount to physical assault? Seyi should just apologize and move on or this could cause him public image battering and possible endorsement deals.
Politics › Re: 8 Ways The Constitution/Statutes Discriminate Against Women by Morizo(m): 11:50am On May 22, 2016
nkemdi89:
That of the police has to do with the job which officers and men of the regimented organisation has to obey,by getting pregnant without marriage doesn't speak well of a serving personnel as that may impede your performance in the job, the need for marriage approval is to document when you will be on maternity leave so as to make for another personnel to fill your duty post, also vetting is important for spouse in order to avoid a serving female personnel getting married to someone with criminal tendency as it's expected couples shares every secret. Why should a non police man prefers living in a barracks? Get a suitable accommodation, it's the duty of the man to provide accommodation for his family,in as much officers it's never conducive for a female to perform night duty except on exceptional reasons concerning a female suspect. A man can not grape his wife according to the bible they are one body.
I beg to disagree with u sis. Women are even more susceptible to organise crime than men these days. The force should remove gender biases of any kind from its fold to meet up with International policing standards.

Nice one dear. Calabar girls are true example of African Queens. Kind and homely. Don't mind these Yoruba dirty rats that tend to mock other tribes. Its IBO girls that even do ashewo work in Calabar. Not efiks. Go to Jos and c yoruba girls doing ashewo biz with uncircumcised mallams. Am so pissed with this sycophancy.

Enough of these stereotypes about Calabar girls. I actually know them to be nice, humane and empathic. IBO girls are all about money in exchange for sex while Yoruba girls are d cheapest to lay and lack cooking skills but very dirty. Av resided in 23 states so I can tell about the Nigerian girl mindset.

Politics › Re: Niger Republic President Campaigns With Buhari's Photo by Morizo(m): 8:42am On Feb 09, 2016
My take on this bears on historical facts. Buhari has been more Nigerien than Nigerian. He voted for Niger's candidate against a Nigerian for a post in the International platform while as a sitting Military Head of State. So this is no coincidence. Over 40% of Fulani Northerners are originally from Niger, Futa Jallon, Timbuktu etc.

We need a vaccine for lassa,it has been existing since the 60's[it was found in Bauchi state] and snatches lives every now and then, over 1000 people were infected in 2012,this time, the mortality rate of the infection has worsened. The reaction of the government has been poor though
Point of correction sir, first it was not discovered in d 60s but 70s; second it was first discovered in Borno not Bauchi and lastly there is no vaccine yet to immunize against it. Correct info is a step towards curbing d spread of any epidemic.

It could be human transmission in those areas. Statistics suggests its on d increase increas like never before so my brother always sanitize your food, home and hands.

Now they want to form a coalition to cut ISIS down to size (much like the MNJTF), you are here claiming islamization of Nigeria. Now that help is minimal and we need as many hands as possible to put an end to this scourge once and forall, CAN is here spilling balderdash.

P.S. before you start shouting and screaming Arab nations, don't forget that Isreal is also an Arab nation
You are a yam head to vomit this rubbish from ur empty head. Do u know d difference between Muslims, Arabs and Jews? Nigeria can never be listed amongst Arab Nations or Muslims for that matter. Neither can Christians claim ownership. That's why its called a plural nation. Clown!

No media on earth can guarantee 100% objectivity, they determine who story to carry and the one not to carry, they also determine stories to be played up or down. The fact remain the same that there is no media house that doesn't make error.

Even as reliable as CNN is they make frivolous and silly mistakes and they come out openly to apologize. Prove me wrong on this and i will show you evidence to defend this!

I was just watching a documentary about the war in Yemen and watched with utter sadness as people recount their ordeal about how they are suffering. A man brought his wife who was hit by shrapnel when their home was hit by shelling to the hospital. The most painful part is that the man said they have not eaten for over two days and the wife is heavily pregnant and her due dates is only days away.
War is bad!!!
If this war that the Igbo people are clamoring for finally comes I dont think they have the balls to see it through. If they really believe turning Nigeria into another Somaliland or Central Africa Republic or South Sudan or Libya, Syria they should think twice because war bring nothing but suffering and untold hardship.
But if they are hellbent on starting this war they should just revolve it round their place and see if they are ready to face the steep consequence.
Think deeply before you act not act before you think!!!
Nice warning but if Nigeria makes d error of going to war at any scale it would consume d whole entity call Nigeria and affect drastically, geographical neighbour countries. There are too many warlords and resources in that can sustain a 10 year civil war. Also remb bigger countries would fund separatist groups to destroy Nigeria and share d loot, esp oil. So bro, it won't be just IBO affairs but d entire West Africa. No country survives two civil wars. Every Strategic Studies fresher can give u a better analysis on impact of a possible Civil war in Nigeria

1. By paying the religion leaders that means the government would be able to regulate his activity. A Pastor/Imam can not just wake up from wrong side of his bed preaching hate message. The message would have to be channeled through some recognized body who are going to vet it and release it to the public.

2. There is no crime in making religion study compulsory at primary and secondary level of education. By having knowledge of dos and donts of my Neighbour religion would ensure harmony, peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.

3. Yes. Free range method of rearing is the course of communal clashes between the cattle farmers and their host community.

4. BH doesn't represent Islam.

You did say who among his predecessors lead Nigeria better.
Well, I don't believe in negative comparison as in comparing one devil to another or comparing an evil genius to a mediocre. The question is did he do what is expected of him. Let me give an instance. Stella Oduah was accused of corruption and there was an investigation set up by the house of rep. See, I followed the whole findings. It was crystal clear that this woman was not corrupt free as their lots of manipulations, anomalies, maladies and undue process in the purchase of the odeshi bullet proof BMW. Alas! a clear case of corruption. To be candid, I was just expecting the president to first of all relieve her of her post but the president kept mute. A number of civil organizations, NGOs, lawyers clamoured for her sack as this is a very clear case of corruption. Now, counting on the attitudinal disposition of the president, another group from South East also went ahead to protest against the removal of their own minister, this group was making certain threats and unnationalistic statements like the South East wont support him so we then have a president who was sitting on the fence.
Clark studied him really well to have assertively said that he is a weak president.
You are also narrow minded bro. Nigeria has an everlasting problem so d guy u quoted was right. Why is it that all those hounding Stella from groups to media emanates from West or Fulani North? That's a problem. Now same people see nothing wrong with Fashola or El-Rufai's tenure as FCT minister! Its a skewed marriage that gave birth to Nigeria, we can't do anything about it now
