cap28:Wow! I didn't know Darwin espoused that theory. Fascinating. Can you direct us to the source in his origins of the species? |
cap28:He may be spot on in promoting "african" pride in relation to how other so called "races" view the mixing of African genes with theirs however the overwhelming fact still remains that populations of people all through history have swapped and continue to swap genes as a function of human survival and human evolution. What constitutes "desirable' phenotypical traits or genes is constructed by 'social" engineering influenced by the history between so called "white" people vs so called 'black" people. cap28:You buffons can continue to huff and puff about how we need to uphold the race' but the scientific fact still remains that as a part of natural selection and human evolution ,It is necessary to continue to diversify genotypes with all the pools of gene sequencing that exists inthe world today regardless of what a few social evolutionist continue to propagate and humans will continue to do it regardles of social boundaries. It is inevitable because it is nature. In other words you are free to run off to some island or some comunnity or church some where and engineer your kind by seperating yourself from the rest of humanity in the name of some idealistic agenda of upholding your "race" but pleae by all means do not try to convince us that this thought process constitues any sort of scientific or natural truth. It is no more than social engieering and should remian in that realm. FACTS TRUMP SENTIMENTS ANY DAY! |
Horus:I am beginning to believe you are truly from outer space. 1.Recessive genes does not equal "defective" genes. 2. You can breed in or breed out any particular gene that manifests itsef in undesirable traits i.e Africans would breed in excess melanin producing ability. Europeans would breed it out because it is not condusive to environmental fitness. 2. Do you even know what natural selection entails thus the word "NATURAL? 3. Did you understand the importance of "geographic' location and clilmate relevant to mutations or desirable traits 4. "Africans having the most diverse gene sequencing" does not mean we have the ability to produce every other human "type". it just means our mutations are inherited from the earliest and therefore the oldest versions of original mutations. Subsequently they take longer to diverge during gradial shifts because they are the closet to the source code. Gradial shifts are a movement from one spectrum of genotypical and phenotypical types to another . What people refer to as "race" let me break that down like I am explaining to a six year old. You can move from any direction of a so called "racial" or ethnic spectrum to another with no physical or genetic boundaries. It is a nonsensical statment to say "caucasians" cannot produce anything other than themselves. That would only be the case if they never bred with any thing other than themselves. Africans are subject to the same rules and cannot produce anything other than themselves if they stay within their locals. Ps do not post me pics of albinos or Light skin Africans from two black parents to prove other wise cause that would worsen your arguement. TRUST ME. |
Olodostein:Eh don't mind Paniki. He/she is trying to come to grips as to the reason why Nigeria keeps competing with South Africa when in his/her mind. We are not as "progressive" as SA and finds it gratifying to point out the countries flaws IN COMPARISON. |
Horus:You are some weird dude. Scientific fact: Africa has the most diverse gene sequencing and mutations compared to other populations of the world. Scientific fact: hybridization is advantageous by increasing genetic variability, there is a larger range of variable and adaptive genotypes to work from, ergo a hybrid "race" has superior long-range prospects in terms of disease prevention and immunities Example If a population is optimally adapted to the environment they evoloved in, say black people's melanin producing ability under exposure to intense ultra violet rays in tropical regions, then introducing a gene pool least adapted to this environment say from european skin adaptations. This would lower average individual fitness if the population remained in the original geographic area, until natural selection restores the balance via weeding out the defect. This goes both ways s well, example: A population in west Africa carrying a high incidence of the sickle gene A possilbe mutation to malaria exposure would find it advantageous to create hybrid populations with nonsickling peoples. The "hybrids" with a lower incidence of the sickling disease would exhibit increased fitness, relative to the original population outside of the intial population environment. In general populations have been swapping genetic information for millenia with natural selection deciding which ones are more favorable to changin environments and intimate prefernce Horus:Based on the above information thats some of the most stupidest stuff i have ever heard. |
BlackLibya:If your MALE Ydna ancestor is european derived then you are tied to that lineage biologically. You can make up what ever you wish is relevant for you to "fit in". People cross racial lines all the time because there are no true boundaries. |
BlackLibya:Your mother's father cannot pass that marker to you because she does not carry it from him. Only your father can transfer that marker. even if you trace your lineage from your mother's side it does not negate the unchangeable tie to your father's blood line. DNA cannot lie! |
BlackLibya:The DNA will pinpoint using Y-DNA markers that are unchanged from male to male lineage, what Ethnic group you originate from in the continent. Thats pretty close enough for you to say what part of Africa your "male" ancestor originates from ergo your lineage. in other words you can only have one great great great grand father Unless you are scared that your Y-DNA marker is from europe? |
Horus:I can give you a very good reason why "mixing' with so called races is good. In biological terms the more diversity you create in a species the better off they are in terms of immunities and the more open they are to gene mutations that are beneficial to long term survival. |
BlackLibya:I don't believe there is any such thing as a pure bloodline. There are only social constructs. let me put it in more simpler contexts. Data is Data. The evidence that is infered upon that data is subjective because it is subject to the whims of human error. Therefore the absolute validity of such information such as race or mixed ethnicity is always suspect depending on who is intepreting the data. BlackLibya:DNA tests are extremely cheap these days, maybe you should go take one, find out where your ancestors originate from so you can pinpoint pretty much where on the continent you have heritage. its that easy BlackLibya:What makes you better than them may I ask or lets reverse that question what is it that makes white people "worse off" than AA BlackLibya:i once asked an AA to name 5 African empires he was aware of, he looked at me in bewilderment. I asked him about Greek mythology and he could name as many gods and conquests of the greek as they come yet he proudly advocates the use of the term AFRICAN AMERICAN in allegiance to his heritage. isn't there something wroing with that picture. PS AA history did not start on slave ships and it is insulting to both your intellect and your ancestors to continue to perpertuate that concept. |
How was I being touchy? I was suggesting that maybe that's the reason blacks in Brazil identify as black. And for your information, I never said people who are mixed in 2011 AD are results of slavery. Don't put words in my mouth. You sit behind your computer trying to act like a big shot when you're not. My universe? I'm not God, so I don't make decisions on who identifies as what. I've read your comments and I saw no evidence other than a personal belief of what Halle Berry would be perceived as in an African country. Again, who the f--k cares? She calls herself black, so that's her choice, and there are plenty of mixed people that identify as multiracial like Tiger Woods. Did you know there were people who identified as multiracial in the 2010 U.S. census? I know because I was a Census enumerator. How was I being angry? There are Africans who literally don't care about black Americans and think negatively of black Americans. Some are on this website. Do I care? No. I don't care what anybody thinks of me. It's not anger, it's pointing out bull$hit. If I cared, I'd be like k.o.n.y. And what's absolute truth to you, smart a$$? You're not a black American. Being curious is one thing, but making assumptions and conclusions about something you're not part of is kind of nonsensical. I'm not a Nigerian, but I do know some things about Nigeria. At the same time, I'm not gonna make assumptions or conclusions about Nigeria and Nigerian people when I'm not part of that society. By the way, you should learn how to use quotation marks properly.
The resounding comment that is coming from you signals that you pretty much "Don't Care" about much of anything at all. Why the heck are you responding then? |
red jasper:He's impacting the knowledge of the great leaders of Africa that stood against the imperial military and economic Army of the West sent to devastate the "black" man and bring him to his knees in perpetual servitude ALL HEIL HITL, , oh sorry I meant Cap28 |
cap28:Great!. Two wanna be Malcolm X's who hide out in forums prophecing their cyber soldier status while in reality everything that smells about them is western. The taxes they pay, the clothes they wear, The food they eat, the language they speak. Comon m.o.r.on.s Bring it on any day [flash=400,200] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9ME3DNkJ0c[/flash] |
ALL THOSE ARE LIES!!!! NONE OF THAT IS TRUE ABOUT ME! Xcept of course the " He loves White woman part" |
igbo2011:And now you have shared this glorious knowledge with us. What am I supposed to do with it? Define who you are, don't let someone else do that for you. There in lies the true beginnings of the African renaissance Morphes says " everything begins with choice" not "cause and effect" |
igbo2011:The question you should be asking is in this age of free flowing information from multiple sources vis a vis "HISTORY LESSONS", "YOU TUBE"and multiple books on the plunder of Africa, How does the spineless NIGERIAN wield all this information to transform himself into a "spinefull" revolutionary? Its like telling you the "devil exists" What are you supposed to do with that information? Can you destroy "greed" or "the lust for power" or are you just trying to change its dynamics. Hmmmmm?? |
igbo2011:Thats sort of a Rhetorical questions isn't it? You already know what he is going to answer. All black people who support any western ideology are puppets. We are just too dim to think for ourselves. Its pratically impossilbe for us to see outside of what we were bamboozled into. Maybe we should just revolt, spill blood and start from scratch again. I am waiting for that revolution. Hope it comes soon as well. All HAIL CAP28!!. |
MandingoII:You do know psychologist say that frequent references of the s, e, x, a.u.a.l nature in conversations between males often point to ones attempt to mask timidness and ones hidden 'short comings" and I am being generous in using the phrase' short comings' as a euphenism. ![]() |
^^^ Ah Dingo, don't be mad at me cause massa's didn't give your welfare azz no free turkey this year. |
^^^ and that term is, ? |
BlackLibya:I guess we should then use the term "people of hue" instead of "people of color" , just to be more accurate, don't you think. |
MandingoII:I like the PC term "people of color". Its a fake anagram for the deragotory Western term, 'colored people' perpetuated by dimwitts who view the world as "white" vs "other people" Oh by the way dimwitt. Don't let your oppressors fool you. White is indeed a color as well. |
^^^ That boy is some Dead carpet flying Arab! |
To answer your first comment, maybe it's because they made that choice themselves and don't want to identify with people that owned and had their way with their African ancestors.
Touchy touchy now. I didn't say people don't have choices now did I and for your edimafication not all multiracial people in the US are products of "slave' owners having their way with African ancestors. Thats disingenous to multi racial couples and If they did by the way. then by now the changes would not be relevant enough for that person to pass as anything other than black in your 'universe'
For your second comment, you say Halle Berry would not be considered in black in other countries. How do you know? And who cares? There may be outside factors, but at the end of the day, people have minds of their own and have the ability to choose. There are some that identify as multiracial like Tiger Woods. He calls himself "Caublasian." Do I care? No. It's his choice. And black may mean different things in different countries, but I don't care. As a black American, my history runs through the antebellum south, the black experience in the USA. It's the only history that relates to me.
if you read through my other thread you would see the evidence. As regards your so called 'choice', is that really a choice or is it an "effect" bound by the context of the American experience. People who wish to live in boxes and percieve reality as what they want it to be are free to do so as long as they do not think this constitutes absolute truth.
You still haven't answered my question. Why do you care about what someone calls himself or herself? It has no affect on you. I thought Africans didn't give a damn about black Americans, especially with the stereotypical and wrong idea of us being lazy and not wanting to work and such some have. You should worry about the problems plaguing your country and continent instead of what someone calls himself or herself.
You are obviously reacting to some insult your anger filled subconcious is trying to deal with. It is not a prequisite that I 'care' about a particular topic which I express on. Curiosity is a sufficient human emotion akin to caring. |
paniki:You are so right on that one. I guess the grass wasn't greener on the other side with "their" white brothers in the UK and now SA is transitioning its time to come up. I guess they are allowd that luxury only I would be persuaded to ask the government to revoke their dual citizenship so they can't run away the next time. I have always prefered those who Stay and fight paniki:lets hope the Zims and Somalians turn theri anger towards Robert and Al shabaib eh! |
cheikh:he's probably speaking of the naija "expatriates' that call that place their new home |
BlackLibya:PC. Far from it BlackLibya:M.I.A only associates with "Black" culture in England because she raps and sings and is heavily exposed to it. If she travesl back to anywhere in South Asia I doubt she's gonna be screaming " I'm black , I'm Proud" over there. Though darker skinned than many Africans, most South Asians do not identify as "black" within social contexts. How many Dark skinned indians do you know that identify as "black" because of their oprressed states? |
cheikh:Hope is a very power thing my friend. |
paniki:Thats fine with me. In fact thats halle berry's assertion. However how much of that 'consideration' is influence as a result of already existing class "constructs' or the ability to fit into already existings groups for some "alterior' motive. Halle berry really has no real "choice" of considering herself anyting other than black because those are only "real' choices within her societies constucts and a fear of defining herself outside of those walls would probably prove disastrous for her going both ways as an actor. Case in point. Most coloured people of South Africa would have found it odd to consider themselves "black" as many still hold today but we begin to notice that as power structures shift and opportunities abound for those who are "considered" to be black you find many embracing their blackness. |

. Bro check your facts and talk to the people yourself to verify the veracity of your assertion. Maybe most of us would wish it to be so but it isn't!
