Actually the new testament does not have Jesus breaking the law of eating unclean animals, because of the traditions of many nations who adopted christianity, loop holes have been found to tryo to convince people that the law of of abstaining from eating dead animals or unclean animals has some how been revoked in the new testatment.

If you look carefully at the chapters that reference this practice in the new testament, there is nothing explicit that really revokes the laws of the Old testament, but realize one thing which is stated by Jesus in the new testatment which says "the Law is made for Man and not Man for the law" If you are religious person then understanding this phrase should put you at ease concerning eating dead flesh or unclean meats.

On the other hand scientifically speaking, endulging in such practices is biologically unhealthy for you as proven by science.

There was a similiar program in the Uk and those individuals did in fact trace the tribe they came from, not just the country or region. On of my Carribean friends did the same and she was able to trace the tribe she came from.
Its plausable that many individuals will descend from more than one tribe or region.

@Emad, most people could see the difference between a kenyan and a Ugandan. They don't really look that similiar to me. Its more likely that someone who is not around a varied group of East Africans who will think they all look the same or similiar.

Its like west Africans, we may all look alike to an East African person, but we know that many times you can tell the difference between a Nigerian and Ghanaian, or a Senegalese person from a Camerounian.

They are still doing the test now and again though the test has reasonable sampling questions it is quite accurate to a point.

East and West Africans are more genetically similar to each other than say an arab. There may be physical characteristics that are prevalent in each group that distinguish them from one another but still doesn't change their genetics.

To get back to the topic. It is not impossible for an AA to trace his ancestry to the Igbo of Nigeria. Many brazilian blacks can trace their culture and genetics primarily to the Yoruba, Mozambique and Angolan ethnic groups despite the admixture with indians and portuguese

The answer to your question concerning the ghanian mixed child would be they would be able to trace this mtna(mitrochondial DNA) to a specific cluster in African  eliminating possiblities of where his great great grand mother could have come from and eventually pinpointing an almost exact location of where his ancestors on his mothers side originate from regardless of the fact that he marries liberian and his son marries a south african. There would be frequencies of genetical markers that can trace origins.

Bantu is not a good term to describe West and Central Africa and is conjured name by european scientists trying to classify Africans from a linguistic point of view. If you were to test the genes of a camerounnian, Gabon or congo you would find similar strains of geneflow across the countries however the Y chromosone DNA( this is the gene that is past only from father to son and so on and this does not change regardless of mixture) which is how you will be able to tell that one persons forefather is Igbo compared to anyother tribe in Africa.

Y chromozone DNA can help establish a patrilineal lineage of AA linking a cluster of their genes to a single ethnic group from Africa if that chromosones marking remains consistent with the geneflow in a specific area then it is safe to say that person is from that area.

Its not impossible for anyone of them to be classified as Igbo. 400 years is a very small amount of time when talking about genetics.

Mugabe does believe that what ever life he is sacrificing now are a means to an end. The end being little interferance of the WEST in Zimbabwean affairs.

He knows his time is up but will go down fighting even if it costs lifes. I 4 one believe that even if MDC wins after a couple of noise making and couple years pass it will be the same old same old with another set of people calling for the ousting of that party. If its not Mugabe today it will be Tsvangiri tommorrow. Change the mentality and not the leaders of the people and that is change you can sustain.

African countries need to stop jumping up cause they will jump back down again but if they grow up they'll stay up.

I second that opinion whole heartedly.  "Survive or Die" If we can't do it oourselvesthen we don't deserve to exist. As much as I am not in support of many of Mugabe's policies. I fail to believe he truly wants to see the demise of his people.

I fail to see how a lot of people refuse to see things in a wholistic context. The WEST is an empire, like many other empires before it and will support its allies and those who support its world view/Economics. Its SURVIVE OR DIE

I mean why shouldn't Mugabe be allowed to play the by the same rules. Its not like the WEST really care about people dying in Zimbabwe and I don't think all this publicity is because they love the people of Zimbabwe for all they care they can all die of aids or nuke themselves and no westerner will loose sleep over it. Let see it play out and see if History vindicates Mugabe.
