Autopsy or not, I think the security guard and the church is to blame here.

For Christ sake, this is a church! It won't cause then any harm to just return the ball back to those boys which enter their premises unintentional. Then what do they preach during their services?

I hate to admit that, as a Christian, I am ashamed of issues like this.

And the police woman wet go buy market, serves her right.

Nonsense people disgracing themselves and tomorrow they will want to come and preach for sinners to be born again.

Crime / Security On Federal Highways And Extortion While People Are Being Killed. by Mouthpis(m): 4:05pm On Jun 25, 2018
I feel so sad and terrified whenever I hear news of wanton killings in some communities in this country. When you travel and see the heavy security check points all along the federal highways collecting money/bribe from motorists. One begin to wonder if this is their primary job function or what? A trip to Jos through the Abuja-Keffi axis that is supposed to take not less than 2hrs 30min took me and my friend about 3 and half hours. The reason being that, there are a lot of checkpoints on the road with fully armed personnel. From the regular Nigerian Police to SARS to VIO to men of the Federal Road Safety Corps to Vigilantes and finally the Military guys. The big question I kept asking myself is, what are all these guys littered along the road for while people are being killed in communities very close to these points, is it just for extortion purposes On that same road, you pass through some parts of southern Kaduna (godogodo to be precise) and yet we still hear news of the killings in these same communities. Sometimes we spend hours at these checkpoints. I just think some people, somewhere are somehow benefitting from the killings going on in this country. Its so painful seeing pictures of dead bodies all the time with no one being arrested while those who have been saddled with the responsibilities to secure lives and properties are busy terrorizing especially commercial road users on the highways. Its really painful.
Health / Re: Why Do Hospitals Sells Blood They Collect Free From Donations? by Mouthpis(m): 5:27pm On May 19, 2018
Emmy1379:
You pay for the screening, and not the blood.

Most public hospitals blood bank have pints of blood at almost every time. But for a patient to be transfused, most hospitals require that someone must replace the blood otherwise, the blood bank would be empty.

However, in the case of an emergency, one can 'loan' a Maximum number of pints of blood to be replaced later but a relative must append his signature

Blood donation is free but some hospitals encourage people to donate by giving them some cash. This ensures blood is present at all time in the hospital. Remember not all blood loan taken would eventually be paid back. Blood is very important and scarce in every hospital: you can only obtain it from humans hence the need to use every legal and ethical means to keep the blood bank stocked at every time.

Nice clarification.

But it still did not justify why a patients condition should be allowed to get so critical like the experience I had which eventually resulted to the death of the girl.

It was really painful even though I don't know them, I was only called by someone to help donate for her.

This is my chat with a friend after I traveled out of Abuja to another state down south in the country.

It's not a mistake.
Sometimes we women are our own worst enemies.
OK look at this logic,
Married men who are cheats normally go after single girls who are not married.
Why do they love to avoid married women most times?
Because of respect for their fellow men.

But a single girl will be comfortable sleeping with the husband of a fellow woman with kids,
It's dat not wickedness?
She will even snatch the man from the wife totally.
Jezebels.

I am a guy and not married,

I think I totally agree with this, especially the part where u said, Men avoid married women because of respect for their fellow men. You are very correct. But the reverse is the case with some ladies who are guilty of this act.

As a guy, nothing in this world can ever make me go for a married woman. The spell must be out of this world for it to work on me.

But killing shouldn't be an option, because like those who quoted u said, it takes two to tango.

Politics / Why Was Shehu Shagari Ban From Participating In Politics For Life? by Mouthpis(m): 12:43pm On Feb 14, 2018
Dear Nairalanders, I never knew there was something like this until I saw it.

My question now is:

Who banned him?

And

why do we now have only corrupt politicians ruling us when there is a punishment like this?

Born on the 25th of February 1925, Shehu Usman Shagari was the 6th president of the republic of Nigeria. He was the president of Nigeria from 1979 -1983. Shagari is from the northern part of nigeria, He was a fulani man from Sokoto.

Shehu Shagari was born into a polygamous family from the village of Shagari in Sokoto, His father was a farmer but later gave this occupation up to rule the village. Religious recitals were mandatory Shagari village hence Shehu started learning recitals from the age of four at home, He later moved to Kaduna for further education and served as a teacher briefly.

Shagari ran for office in 1954 and he was elected into the federal house of representatives. Thereafter he held several posts and was a member of of every administration after Nigerias independence in 1960. After a military coup overthrew civilian government, He retired to his hometown in 1966. He was appointed federal commissioner of economic development under Gen Yakubu Gowon in 1971, A position he took over from Chief Obafemi Awolowo. Shagari went on in 1979 to face and defeat Gen Gowon in the presidential elections after the military government led by Olusegun Obasanjo allowed a return to civilian rule.

Nigeria was badly shaken by the international economic crisis of the early 1980s. Shagari took several steps to try to strengthen the economy—cutting the budget, calling in the International Monetary Fund, and expelling two million aliens (mostly Ghanaians) in 1983. He won the bitterly contested presidential elections in 1983, but the state of the economy and corruption in his administration worsened, and on Dec. 31, 1983, a military coup led by Maj. Gen. Muhammad Buhari toppled the government, and Shagari was arrested. Shagari was cleared of personal corruption charges and released from detention in 1986 but was banned from participation in Nigerian politics for life.
