Oh, they are our misguided brothers, who followed the wrong way. The federal government needs to listen to their grievances and prompto, banditry would disappear in the north.

PoliticsRe: Coups: The Two Anglophone Countries Immuned From This Scourge - Femi Fani-Kayode by mrblessed(m): 8:17am On Sep 02, 2023
Nope, it's not true. The military of Nigeria and Ghana are part of the ruination being superintend by the political class. If you look at states where coups have successfully staged, the military of those states were excluded by the political class. Politicians in Nigeria and Ghana have learnt not to "eat" alone and as a result have their positions likely secured.

I never wanted to travel out of the country for work purpose but what I was working on failed and certain factors that was motivating me to stay back are majorly no longer there.

Now, I'm beginning to consider leaving the country but some family members and friends are discouraging me mainly because they feel I should get married first before going.

I'm 31, single and total money in my account now is 620k.
Monthly salary is 105k.

What should I do please? Start processing and working on traveling or I should stay back and still be managing my 105k?

PoliticsRe: Coup: U.S Mounts Pressure On Tinubu As ECOWAS Fumes Over Mixed Signal by mrblessed(m): 10:20am On Aug 16, 2023
America and its allies don't support democracies abroad that are amenable to their exploitative designs. They prefer to hobnob and support an autocrat if only their interests are well-protected. So the talk about democracy this and human rights that from the west is pure nonsense.

FamilyRe: Is She Good For Marriage. by mrblessed(m): 1:01pm On Aug 12, 2023
dlawsamesq:
So I am very confused right now because of all this red flag I am seeing.

I lost my wife early last year when she was birthing my third child and only son, I have had my family taking care of the boy since then and now there is need to move on.

There is this lady I am currently seeing, we are both serious with the relationship, infact I have met her family to disclose my intentions and we are planning to get married this December.

Now, this is the issue, this lady is very stingy to herself. She is an entrepreneur, she runs her own business and is doing averagely well, she can afford to cater for need without anyone's support. She has been complaining of body pains and body weakness for almost 2 months but she refused to take herself to the hospital and when I complaint she told me that I should give her money, I am not trying to say it is bad if I give her money to do that but she is quite aware that things are not very rosy for me now.

I am really confused now because I don't plan to wife a liability, I think I will opt out of this relationship.
It's not a good sign, and she should be avoided. Someone who cannot look after herself cannot manage another person. It's not possible.

RomanceRe: New Marriage About To Crash. by mrblessed(m): 3:01pm On Aug 09, 2023
Ehinjuola:
My husband is not the same man I fell in love with.

My husband changed totally after wedding day, in fact, it started on the wedding night and its giving me a lot of concern.

It's not that he is not talking to me or we are fighting, but he is not the cheerful happy person anymore.

After months of trying to get what the problem is, he finally opened up to me and I don't know what my fault is, I think he is overreacting.

My husband works in an insurance company and he is just a junior staff, he earns 150k per month, so he is not doing that bad.

When we wanted to get married, my dad wrote the wedding list and everything he would bring, when he saw them, he fumed that they were too much and they should reduce it but my dad insisted that he won't collect it twice, I also told him if he really loves me, he would provide them, he could get help from his family too, it is called bride price and other things, and it is once.

We had little issue then but he later resolved it.

He brought everything they ask him for

During the wedding, my parents told him to buy a cow, rent a hall and decorate it then they'll take care of other things. He said he didn't have money for a big hall and he would prefer a field ground but my dad insisted that rain could disrupt things and he has many people coming.

That almost cause issues too, I had to support him with 50k to get the hall because I know who my dad is, he won't back out.

I didn't know how he did it, he took the hall and designed it, he bought cow too.

His family brought food and everything went fine and that was it.

I don't know what was keeping him moody until he spoke up.

He said I couldn't fight for him, I was there supporting my parents and watch them extorting him, did I even know he had to collect loan to pay for those things?

I got angry because he used the word 'extorting'.

He was the one that wanted to have my hand in marriage and if he cherish me, he should do all they wanted since he is not paying twice.

After I said this, he stopped talking in the house, he comes home, eat and go to bed.

I tried talking to him but he would listen but not talk, he is cold to himself and prefer his privacy.

Have I said something wrong?

I don't like whats happening. My marriage is too young to be going through all these.

I am tired, I don't know what to do.
It seems like your dad and your husband had a joint wedding. What manner of lame meddlesomeness is this?

It has become obvious that these imperialist states see Niger as western natural resources that must be exploited at all cost. The sad thing is that, they disguised as democrats and have most ECOWAS countries in their pockets.

What is a diplomatic solution? To ask the junta to step down and handover to a civilian? Never! It's not going to happen. Let France begin to renegotiate the prices of mineral resources it has been stealing for decades.
