Firstly, I must say one of the best place to be is on Nairaland. Ever since I bumped into this interesting site, I have always had solution to my challenge one way or d other. Everytime I google, nairaland is always part of the solution.

However, I have been following Nairaland but have never joined not until recent. What I see is the way we treat ourselves here (though never been insulted because I don't pass my boundary)
One disinteresting this is the way people abuse, curse, throw stones and recently, the tribal differences stealing the show in most thread.
If there is ever anything I can't trade, that will be my integrity and respect. I even feel am the one abused when I read some people trading their parents dignity on Nairaland even if they don't cherish theirs.
I really don't know what we can do to this but I just thought of raising this as some other people may feel the same.
Pls and pls, what can we do to restore sanity as we can't force anyone to be good. Your advice is welcomed. Thanks.

sadly, you have to understand that some people come here to release the stress from their miserable lives, and get their relief by venting their frustration at others, and insulting anyone at the slightest misunderstanding.

there is absolutely nothing that NL can do about such people, unfortunately.

lol...he may not thinking about that. But I know their law grants permanent residence to a father or mother of any child born in Brazil. And in as little as 2years, citizenship is granted. That could be his aim. Brazil is the only country if I'm not mistaken that does that. They don't care about your status in the country. And brazilian passport enters all western nation visa free except US and Canada

yes you are right, a child born in Brasil get automatic citizenship (and permanent visa for his/her foreigner parents) whether on a tourist visa or illegal in the country. the only real problem would be TIME, because bureaucracy here is very very slow!

Good morning all,
Pls I need advice on giving birth in brazil. What is the cost, suggested hospitals, and how long it takes to get the child's birth certificate and passport after delivery.

A) you 1st need to decide what city in Brasil you intend to go to

B) birth price will depend on which hospital you choose... the better the hospital/service, the higher the price.... it ranges from €1.5K to €5K. you could even have the baby on a pubic hospital but i certainly wouldnt recommand it as some have been turned down in the past because they were not Brazilian resident

C) for the birth certificate, if you have all the necessary documentation: the birth documentation from the hospital, passport of parents, a CPF, a proof of address in Brasil and 2 witnesses then you just need to head to a "cartorio" and have the birth certificate issued to you. it will take 1 hr at best, so long as it is not busy at the time.

D) for the child's passport, i suggest you expect no less than 2 months as bureaucracy in Brasil is a drag!

i was once punched by a total stranger in Poland simply because i was walking in a night supermarket with 2 female friend (one on each hand). the guy punched me and started throwing racist insults at my friends and I, i broke a bottle n that fools head and the police was called. when they arrived, they saw that idiot bleeding from the head and they simply handcuffed me, even though my friends were telling the police exactly what happened. as these bastard police were leading me away, the store manager ran and call the police to come and view the video surveillance tapes... thats how my black aaass was saved from ending up in some small polish city's police station.

some countries in east Europe have big racism problem, and although you might never see it on a daily basis, it is just a street corner away, so long as you find yourself there at the wrong day/time!

- are you in love with your mother?!
- did you choose to love your mother just like you chose to love your husband?
- does the love you have for your husband based on the same foundation as the love you have for your mother?
- since the love you have for your husband is the same as the one you have for your mother, who would you choose if you had only two parachutes and the plane was crashing with all 3 of you in it?

stop trying to twist everything around, we are taking about LOVE from a partner here, and the LOVE you have for a sibling/parent (aka FAMILY) is way different than the LOVE you have for a partner (they certainy cant "cheat" on you) . so whether you want to call them all "family" (to each their own), they are NOT the same LOVE.... which is the subject of this thread.

well the subject of this thread still is: is it possible to BE IN LOVE and cheat on your spouse. so what is your answer to that?!

A committed boyfriend and husband is family. So the love for family would be different as of a stranger or an associate.
A Bleep buddy or a booty caller wouldn't have the family love but a lust love.
According to OP, he is a boyfriend so the love would be a family love if they have been committed for a while.

by family we are talking of brother, parents etc, not partner because these are 2 distinct type of LOVE. stop mixing the two, as family (aka siblings/parents) love is COMPLETELY different from the love you have for your partner.

There are people who are not family that I love and do not respect them but it is worst to love FAMILY and not respect them.

Respect means giving the person the admiration or high regards it has nothing to do with love.

the IMPORTANT question IS: do you think that a man who willingly and REPEATEDLY cheats on you, actually loves you?!
