pls tell ursef the truth. Ronaldo was better than Messi last season despite moving to a new club. I'm not talking about number of goals, I'm talking about achievement
Last season? Messi was superb just that he missed cl final, he was cl highest goal scorer, laliga highest goal scorer, European golden boot, performance on the pitch too. CR wasn't in form last season but picked up towards the end.

BusinessRe: Lady Finds Biafran Currency In Her Father's Cupboard by MrGerald(m): 7:00pm On Aug 13, 2019
Heromaniaa:
The currency spent in the defunct Republic of Biafra during the Nigerian civil war (1967-70), Biafran Pound, has surreptitiously crept into the currency market, serving as the legal tender in some communities along the West African coast.

Investigations carried out by Sunday Punch showed that the money is being spent in the border town between Togo and Republic of Benin, while some currency hawkers also exchange it for the naira and other currencies in the border town between Ghana and Togo.

One Biafran pound still bears the signature of Dr. Syvelster Ugo, the then Governor of the Central Bank of the defunct Biafran Republic and the picture of a palm tree. What is, however, baffling about the currency is that it has more value than the Nigerian naira and it is openly accepted as a legal tender in the affected communities.

When Sunday Punch visited the Ghana and Togo border town, known as Aflo, some of the money vendors were eager to sell the currency. They, however, insisted on selling one Biafran pound at N800. The scenario at the Togo/Benin Republic border, known as Helakondi, was different as the vendors willingly sold one pound for between N200 and N270 to our correspondent. Some food vendors in Togo were telling passersby that they were willing to accept Biafran pounds.

In Ghana, the vendors were discreet about the trade. One of them, who identified himself simply as Tony, told our correspondent that the money was not accepted as a legal tender in Ghana, but that Ghana was a transit route for the currency.

He said: \"We get the money from some Igbo people in Nigeria. They bring it here for us and we cherish it so much.
They accept it along the West African borders but I don't know what they do with it.

You call four champions league only? anyway it's not always about how many silverware you win, or clubs you played for, the great Pele played almost all his carrier not even in Europe but in South America. For me in all-round Messi is better and exceptional.

The question is..... since they can sandfill the construction site for heavy trucks to move materials, why can't they just sandfill that very place and build the road on it without building the bridge?

Won't it save more than building the bridge? undecided
You can't fill all the water area at the same time or else there'd be overflowing of the river and flooding, that's how bridge is built.

What rules and tradition are you talking about, have you ever traveled out before or to Ghana? They're very jealous set of people, not only to foreigners, to themselves too that's the reason why they are too diabolical... Once you're becoming successful in Ghana your friends, family members, even strangers that has nothing to do with you envy you, they mostly die young and in mysterious ways.

Thank God that Delta State now have two teams in the Npfl(Delta Force of Asaba and Warri Wolves).Honestly, the Nigerian clubs i support are Enyimba and MFM(Because of Sikiru Olatubonsu and Stephen Odey when MFM was so hot during 2016/2017 season). You don't have to support a club because it's in your State.Remember that some people living in Madrid support Barcelona and likewise,London supports Man U,Manchester supports Chelsea etc.I hope for the day our league would be rated among the top 3 league in the world in terms of cash, infrastructure, management etc.I would like our style of play to change to something like the brazilian style and adding a touch of speed,i hope for the day that a team in Nigeria has players that are very skillfull from the striker to Goalkeeper that are capable of dribbling to wow the crowd and beating Madrid,Barcelona,Chelsea,Juventus etc. like 3-1/2-0.while the likes of Arsenal,Napoli,Sevilla etc. would collect 4/5-0.I suggest that clubs should give youngsters a chance.
So why did you put Chelsea in the same line with Madrid, Barça and juv? They should be with Arsenal, Nap. and so on...

French inventor and entrepreneur Franky Zapata wants us to see the future of faster transportation as he pilots his jet powered aerial vehicle, which he calls the Flyboard Air, during this month’s Bastille Day celebrationsin Paris, France.

https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/IMG_20190720_161900_699.jpg

In the short clip above, the CEO of Zapata is seen soaring 9 meters in the air on his Flyboard and dazzling the crowd which includes the French president Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.

https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/IMG_20190720_160944_769-600x432.jpg

The Flyboard Air, which has a top speed of 103 mph and will fly for almost 30 minutes before refueling, was also seen stalking a green Lamborghini Huracan in the latter part of the clip.

Zapata hopes the Flyboard Air, which currently costs around $250k or about ₦90million, will be useful to beat traffic, for medical, military, fire, and industrial teams as well.

Just Imagine Yourself Soaring Above Some Of The Ever Congested Roads In Nigeria. What Do You Think?

Yesterday, Prof Pat Utomi spoke against the demonization and ethnic profiling of the Fulani people. Today, Bishop Mattew Kukah of the Catholic Church has done the same. I applaud their courage for refusing to flow with the herd.

I believe we still have so many reasonable Nigerians who are concerned about the ongoing politically motivated hate speech against a particular set of people. This is the time to speak up. We don’t want another 1966 pogrom or Rwandan kind of genocide in our country. This is the time to put our humanity above ethnic sentiments.

While we condemn criminality and ask for security agencies to step up their game and ensure safety of lives and properties, we must never fall in line with those ethnicizing crimes.
But if it were to be Igbos you'll support it.

I don't know why Nigerians rarely play in the Spanish laliga..

They are tactically batter than the EPL by far as one can easily see in Chukwueze... All our EPL players got to offer is physicality and tackling abilities..

I know Chukwueze will be dreaming of playing in the EPL already coz it's every player's dream..

But if I were his next of kin, I would advise him to continue plying his trade in Spain while aiming for the top two giant clubs in Spain..

I've been longing to see a Nigerian play in Barcelona or Real Madrid since I became a football fan..
Once he moved to epl it'll be the end, with sluggish style of football that lacks tactics and skills, it has happened to so many of them in the past.
