Nigerian bank wont provide you a letter showing 6 months average balance . So people use the 6 months statement as a substitute the officer can calculate it himself from the statement. This does not apply to proof of fund gotten via gift deed or sales of assets.

Thank you for the insight. My situation is that about a month and half before I got ITA (Note: I didn’t have the required POF in my account then) a considerable sum of money was given to me by my older brother (same parents, obviously same surname) to add to mine for my start up business. Then I got ITA, so will be using it as my POF instead. Do I need to do a gift deed for it or I just go to bank and collect my 6months statement then submit to IRCC?

This is what I see on IRCC website for document to be submitted for POF. Does it mean I don’t have to submit account statement of six month? Somebody please share some light

The applicant should provide an official letter(s) from one or more financial institutions that lists all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts, such as credit card debts and loans.
The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include the applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and email address), the account numbers, the date each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance for the past six months.

Maybe you chose manager in agriculture NOC which is not part of the 3 NOC in this category. Check the NOC in this category and see if the job duties align with your job description, then you can change to it if it does

I booked IOM immediately I got ITA only to see the post that upfront medicals have been reviewed or something by IRCC

Did you book on their website or via email? I’m unable to book, seems their website is having technical issue.

On your issue, I think since you’ve booked and theirs a placeholder to upload it on your application you should just go there and do the medical.

I just got an invitation to apply from EE category based draw. After 3 years in the pool, 2 IELTS and expired passport. I’ve lost so much hope that I’ve even forgotten how the process works. I have to go read up on them again now.

Those who’ve had to learn French to move to Canada. Did you ever have to use the language when you moved at any point or it’s just to boost CRS point?

Asking because I don’t want to commit so much energy, time and money to something that won’t significantly be of a bonus to me considering I have a high CRS score already

After graduation, you’ll be eligible for a 3yrs post graduate work permit. Work for a year and apply for PR through CEC. There’s a clear path to PR for those who study in Canada unlike the UK. You can also check if BC has a graduate stream PNP. Other way is to join the express entry pool and hope for a PNP nomination. That’s if you can’t wait till after graduation which I think is unnecessary. The goal is to get PR not to have it in a record time, so patience is needed

If you mean ITA from Saskatchewan,you can send an EOI when the complete POF is a month plus, when you get the ITA,you will be given 2 months to submit.
Wait till the POF reaches 3 months,get your bank statement and submit your application.
