Pastor AIO: China was being held down by Marxist Ideology, no different from Wahhabist in Saudi, Soviet Socialism etc Pastor AIO: 3 Gbosas to you Pastor AIO: Please also note there was opposition to IVF in the early days of that branch of medicine since it contradicts with the natural way ( God) of reproduction. Most opponents of Stem Cell Research are opposing on religious grounds not on the Validity of the Science Pastor AIO: Puritanism did orginate in England right at the start of the Scientific and Industrial Revolution, they were well resisted, that's the reason they emigrated to New World ( America) |
Politics / Re: Curfew In North Affects Prices In South by mrmayor(m): 2:33pm On Apr 23, 2011 |
Who cares if food prices go up? Certainly not Europeanized/Americanized Sheltered Nairalanders, hell No! Why should you care? the " Abokis" have nothing on you! It affects low income families, Okada drivers, Nurses, Teachers, Civil Servants and a host of Nigerians. Like it or not the Muslim Sharia North feeds the South. I hate to admit it but Nigeria is not splitting any time soon |

Politics / Re: Jonathan Set To Win, Aided By Southern Magic Numbers by mrmayor(m): 7:46am On Apr 19, 2011 |
GEJ would win in SS/SE rigging or no rigging but PDP Rigged in Rivers State. No arguments. I voted in Rivers State. At my polling unit. Unit 2, Ward 4. Shell Gate. Bonny LGA Registered Voters. 1,187 Total Votes Cast. 454 PDP 432 PDC 1 Void 21 Same kind of (REAL) figures were repeated all round the State. INEC lost a believer when Rivers State results came through. In Ikwerre LGA, Ubima ward 4, not sure about unit, Gov. Amaechi complained about low turnout, on TV. GEJ/PDP got 99% of the votes cast but NO 76% voter turnout!. In most creek and fishing villages, Votes were simply allocated to PDP. Mr Buhari needs to call his thugs to order. So many innocents who probably did not vote at all are being killed for the sins of PDP Wetin sef, must Northerners kill non Muslims all the time?! |
Politics / Re: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by mrmayor(m): 12:17pm On Apr 15, 2011 |
I voted in the last election,Amaechi's PDP rigged in most rural communities, fishing ports. Magnus Abe got over 154,000 to ACN 34,000. No where in the Niger Delta polled that number of votes. THIS WHY I"M VOTING BUHARI in Rivers State. Someone please post this on BBC,CNN or Aljazera, I would be offline for 2 days. |

Politics / Re: Buhari Or Gej, I Am So Confuse Now by mrmayor(m): 11:20pm On Apr 13, 2011 |
My heart says Jonathan My Head says Buhari. I voted in last week's election for ACN candidates for both Reps and Senate in Rivers State. PDP won both contest in my polling unit, in my unit election were free and fare but I know PDP cheated in other polling units, Vote buying, Intimidation, and outright voting on behalf of people who never came, especially in small riverine creek communities, fishing ports etc. I've lost faith in the process. I sincerely believe that Buhari would make better change that PDP's Jonathan. Family and Friends think I'm a traitor not Voting a fellow Ijaw man, Niger Delta man but I'm sick and tired of PDP, BUHARI gets my VOTE |
Politics / Re: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by mrmayor(m): 10:07am On Apr 10, 2011 |
Dotman01: Yep, heard it on Treasure FM. I thought that Chikere (PDP) would win but not by that margin |
Politics / Re: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by mrmayor(m): 8:19am On Apr 10, 2011 |
ojofree: Unpopular does not necessarily mean Unknown, it may be mean UN-liked. PDP is an Unpopular Party. Fact! ACN won in most of the units in Bonny LGA, Rivers State. don't have the figures yet, I didn't stay for the count. There was fighting in ward 3 and 4 in Okirika LGA, Dr Abiye Sekibo's ward. PDP boys wanted hijack ballot box, move was resisted by voters. Sekibo is Amaechi's arch enemy. For the most party, elections were (free and fair) but there were a lot of Vote buying, people were being paid to stay home especially in Etche, Ikwerre, LGA's of Rivers State. Voters were being forced to vote for ruling party in Elele ( Ikwerre LGA). it almost came to blows. |
Politics / Re: 90% Of People On Nairaland Will Not Even Vote- So, Does Their Opinion Matter? by mrmayor(m): 6:12am On Mar 11, 2011 |
@Seun Seun: Hi Seun, can't believe Nairaland its 6 years old already, how time flies. Remember way back in 2006 when you use to ban people for using bad grammar? You banned me once for having 99 years as my age in my profile, you not only banned Bolicks, Peppermoon and our resident tribalist Afeni aka Da Hitler but their ISP too. You ruled Nairaland with an Iron-Fist. Members couldn't threaten others with Death, Abuse etc. Bigotry and Tribalism are now popular sports,Tribalist who if given 10 minutes would wipe out Tribes they hate from the comfort of their bedroom, yes I know they generate a lot of traffic and you may have gotten busier but still NL use to be fun way back in 2006. Did you forget your Siggy back then? Remember: Resistance is futile and will be crushed!! Obey before complaint!! My forum, my rules!! Thanks, Seun, congrats you've done a good job creating Nairaland with very little resources. Thanks |
Politics / Re: A Country With No Justice - Read This Man's Tale by mrmayor(m): 9:07pm On Feb 14, 2011 |
@MaryJ, September 2010 I was arrested by the Anti Kidnapping Unit at State CID Moscow Road, Port Harcourt based on a petition by family member that I was planning to kidnap and murder him, like play like I was about to be thrown in the Cell to appear in court the next day. My saving grace was a chance meeting of an ASP whom I have lost touch with years ago. Long and short of it was I parted with substantial amount of money. Nigeria Police are no friend of the people, if you have enough money and influence, you can lock up anyone you want. There is very little justice for the ordinary Folks |
Religion / Re: Science And Religion: The Unending Conflict. by mrmayor(m): 7:50am On Jan 28, 2011 |
@Jasoul, JeSoul: I agree with the first bolded. Science is not conflict with the bible because some Scientist choose to be but because its in conflict with Evidence Available. Classic example is we know that 46 Chromosomes required to produce a baby vs Virgin Birth. |
Religion / Re: G.o Adeboye's 2011 Predictions: What Is Your Take? by mrmayor(m): 10:04pm On Jan 13, 2011 |
Mr Adeboye's prediction are at best VAGUE, anyone can come up with that. After Consulting Sango, Amadioha, Egbesu etc, these are my predictions. It must come to past. Politics. There would be Rigging this year, some politicians would lose their seats, some politicians would go to court, few would win the rest would lose. There would be thuggery during elections, some would lose their lives, pray you are not among them. Judges and Lawyers go hammer this year! Ethnic/Religious Violence. Pray against Religious and Ethnic after elections, there would be fights in some parts of the country. EFCC. There would a lot of corruption this year, as it is an election year. EFCC as usual would not do anything. Banking. All those who stole their banks blind would get a slap on the hand, they would get a plea bargain and walk away, some Nairalanders would support Erastus Akingbola others would not. Sports. Arsenal would not win the EPL unless we ( Sorry) they sack Wenger. Celebrity. There would be a lot of Celebrity wedding this year, many would be on PM NEWS, City People, Bisi Olatilo Show, there would break up celebrity homes this year. Make I stop here, its time to consult Shimingi |

InesQor: InesQor: No Sir, I would not believe a Doctor who tells me that I'm Pregnant, I will however believe him if he Produces Evidence[LOGIC} that though my Physiology is male, that Men can indeed get pregnant, He would have to prove with hard and corroborative evidence, Scan, X-ray and opinions from other doctors to prove that I'm indeed pregnant. I would also like to know how I got pregnant in the first place since I'm not gay. I would be a medical marvel to be probed and studied You believe that a Virgin got pregnant without any male spermatozoa, that Sir is Blind Faith The Trustworthy Index of a Professional body, Agency,Government is based on what You/We know,Raw Data, past experiences, etc. I do not trust EFCC any more than I trust the CIA. |
Religion / Re: Christianity, Reason, Insight And Sound Classical Logic by mrmayor(m): 6:43pm On Dec 20, 2010 |
InesQor: I don't see how this example is Blind Faith, 1 When you visit your Dentist, it is based on the premise that you know what a Dentist really represents, [ LOGIC] that ( He/She is Educated, Skilled in Dentistry , Trained in a University, Licensed by both his Professional Body i.e Nigerian Dental Association and the Government) all this is done to prevent quacks and fraudsters. 2. You visit your Dentist for a reason ( though no toothache) to check the state of your Oral Health based on above ^^^^ 3. Mr Dentist says you have a Cracked Filling, he would produce evidence i.e parts of the cracked filling, x-ray to convince the patient that he actually does have a cracked filling.Again Sir, this is [Logic] 4. Mr Dentist goes ahead to suggest course of action, e.g Refilled, Pulling out the Cracked Tooth etc. this also based on [Logic.] Blind Faith is arriving for your Flight at MM2 airport and getting Informed that Adeboye and Pastor Chris would your Pilots for the Flight. Getting on board would be Blind Faith. Logic and Faith can not exist in the same Time and Space |

Fela once said "My people dey fear things wey dem no see, thats why army man go whip your yan$h you go dey look like donkey" Some many crimes have been commited and hidden under National Security. All Dictators also lay claim to National Security. You'll make a good spokes woman for Abacha, GEJ etc . CNN Headline.Horror, Nigerian Army sacks a community in Ekiti State. kobojunkie Naija Gonment spokes woman, denies it. The Army is Ekiti is there for National Security. stories are from our detractors. CNN Headline. Wikileaks: Naijagate, proof of Mass Murder in Ekiti State. Kobojunkie, Julian Assange is a Terrorist, he has no business intefering in National Security, governments the world over have the Right to Secrets Madam, You may be trusting of Authorities, I'm not. |

Politics / Re: Mastercard Brought Down By Wikileaks Revenge Attack by mrmayor(m): 9:08pm On Dec 08, 2010 |
@Kobojunkie, In psychology, Stockholm syndrome is a term used to describe a paradoxical psychological phenomenon wherein hostages express adulation and have positive feelings towards their captors that appear irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, essentially mistaking a lack of abuse from their captors as an act of kindness.[1] [2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome You madam have been held hostage by the adulation of your host country. You are trying to be more Patriotic than Patriots like Bill O'Reilly, Glen Beck, George Bush etc etc etc . Kobojunkie: Of course I'm not making sense. WikiLeaks cables: Lockerbie bomber freed after Gaddafi's 'thuggish' threats Megrahi case led to threats against UK's Libyan interests, while Scots who released him had turned down 'a parade of treats' Uk government was telling the whole world it Released a Mass Murderer on compassionate grounds, everyone knew it was about Oil deals, now histroy lessons would be much easier, Cablegate |
Politics / Re: Mastercard Brought Down By Wikileaks Revenge Attack by mrmayor(m): 8:53pm On Dec 08, 2010 |
Wikileaks has not been convicted of any crime! Btw, closing all those accounts would not stop Wikileaks, I also suppose the CIA, DOD, State Departments didn't break rules spying on the UN abi? If Mastercard and Visacard have the moral right to close Wikileaks account then they should also close those Halibuton, Siemens etc atleast these companies admited to crimes, convicted and fined! |
