I understand where you are coming from. Yes 34 to 35 is young and even more so for sports guys who have access to all modern scientific gadgets that supports them. But I think one of the reasons they retire around those ages is because over the course of 10 -15years career at the very top level, their bodies go thru alot of physical, mental and medical procedures that eventually take its toll over time. Forget that we just watch 90mins matches on TV and get entertained, these guys go thru alot of work behind in the scene to keep that top physical condition. Offcourse the money helps but Las Las body bo be firewood!

1. Try driving backward
Once you are driving forward and your car gets stuck, don't keep trying to accelerate further. It only makes your wheels sink deeper. Let's not forget that you will keep splashing mud all over the doors, trunk, bonnet, windows, and engine of the vehicle. Therefore, what you should do immediately you notice your car can't move forward in to try reversing.

Do not turn off the engine. Simply place your gear on R and drive backwards. Perhaps the road leading to the mud is better than the one leading out of it. Hence driving in reverse should work. If you're able to move backwards for a bit and get stuck again, try forging forward at a faster acceleration. You'll likely get out of the mud and head on with your journey.

2. Provide traction for your wheels
The reason your car stays stuck is that there's no traction between the wheels and the road you're on. You need to provide some traction then.

There are gigantic thick metal wires that are sold online. You can buy those and keep in your trunk for times when you get stuck. When you tie the wire through the wheels and tyre, it creates some sort of bump when that area rotates and touches the ground. This makes your car move forward or backwards one way or the other.

Other materials you can use for traction are you car floor mats, thick leaves (not grasses please), gravels or small stones and blankets. What you do is to place them close to the tyre, underneath, so your wheels can roll over them. They might get slightly sunk in the mud, but will provide traction for you to get out of that spot. If you can find a lot of these materials, you can create a path for your vehicle to drive on. When safe, you can always go back to get your mats and clean them.

3. Get people to push it for you
When you have tried the first DIY method and it doesn't work or you don't get the materials for the second, it's time to use some manpower. If you're lucky enough to be driving with some friends, they can all come out to push the vehicle backwards or forward - depending on which path gives you more traction. If you don't have passengers with you, find locals around that can help.

First of all, try to make the car lighter. There's actually a possibility you got stuck due to the weight of the car. A sedan weighs about 1,800 kg on an average while an SUV weighs about 3,000 kg. Imagine driving that with bags of rice, spare tyre, tools and even humans. It adds close to another thousand kilograms. That's why emptying the car helps. Afterwards, you can get in and have them push towards the direction with better traction. This is usually the most common way to get a car out of mud in Nigeria.

4. Get it towed out
This is pretty much the last resort. Nigerians feel a car only gets towed when it's been involved in an accident. Well, that shouldn't always be the case. When your car is stuck in mud, you can request for a towing van to come to get it out for you. There are usually areas in the front and rear of your vehicle where they can attach their towing chain and pull your car out.

However, you will need to put your car on neutral gear and control it while it's been towed. It's really not rocket science. Simply reduce the weight as well. Alternatively, you can get another vehicle to help you tow it out. If you have a thick and strong belt or chain, you can attach it to both tyres and that should work. With all these tips on how to get your car out of mud, you should be calm when it happens as you already have the best tricks at your fingertips. However, avoid muddy areas and drive carefully when in a wet area.

You cannot stop birds from flying over your head, but you can certainly stop a bird from building a nest on your head. In the same way, you cannot stop temptations, sinful thoughts and desires from passing through your mind, but you can certainly stop yourself from acting on these temptations, sinful thoughts and desires. How? By confessing at the very moment of temptation that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

The power of Jesus to overcome every temptation kicks in when you remain conscious that even at the point of temptation, Jesus is still with you and that you are righteous in Him apart from your works (Romans 4:6)! When you do that, you reject the condemnation for the temptation that you faced. You now have the power of Christ to rise above your temptation and to rest in your righteous identity in Christ apart from your works. That, beloved, is the overcoming life in Christ!

Therefore "the gates of hell" illustrate the full strength and quality of hell and Satan who resides there, hence what Jesus meant by that saying was that even if Satan comes with his best and everything he had at his disposal against His church, he shall still not prevail (fail).

Do you know that the main reason why people find it hard to make heaven is because it is ridiculously easy?

But unfortunately, it is difficult for many people to fathom the simplicity... no thanks to the doom and gloom preachers that constantly preach heresy thereby making it very hard for many to come to Christ.

Some years back, GOD revealed to me that there are millions of people in Hell who have no business being there but because they were ignorant of some simple facts about salvation which I am about to reveal to you.

If you understand these three facts, you can never ever miss heaven and you have no business with Hell...


1. No matter how terrible you think you are, Jesus says just come...No matter how unimaginable your sins may be, to Jesus it does not matter, he says just come. And coming to Christ simply means accepting him as your lord and saviour and this is so easy...No matter where you are on the surface of the earth, just ask him to forgive you all your sins and accept him as your lord and saviour and your name will automatically be included as a citizen of heaven. O YES! it is that easy.

Matthew 11:28-29 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

2. Invite the holy spirit to help you in your journey of salvation: This is the most important part of salvation many people ignore. Do you know that you can still sin recklessly even after you have accepted Jesus as lord and saviour? This is because many people think they can overcome sins by their power so they struggle to live right and it is at this point many people give up their salvation simply because they feel it makes no sense calling themselves believers when they still sin like unbelievers and most people who give up at this point hardly ever come back to Christ.

When a child is born, he grows from an infant to adulthood and an adult human is not more human than an infant and in like manner, a mature believer in Christ is not more born again than a new believer but the only difference is growth. The good news is that there is a process called sanctification( A process of growth or development in our salvation), and it is only the holy spirit that does this. So please don't ever give up your salvation during this process cos the holy spirit is so powerful that it will cause a positive mutation in you and by the time he is done with you, the sins or terrible habits you once find pleasure in will disgust you so much that you will begin to wonder how you ever loved them.

Only the Holy Spirit has the power to make the changes God wants to make in our lives. Philippians 2:13 says, God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

3. Ask for forgiveness if you ever fall into sin...Ok now you have accepted Christ as lord and have invited the holy spirit to sanctify you so what next?...Well the truth is that for some, the process of sanctification may take their life time but that does not disqualify them from heaven neither does it make them an unbeliever. Jesus said in John 6: 37 ''All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away'' ...this simply means as long as you have accepted Jesus as your lord and saviour, he will never ever give up on you or drive you away because you are still in the process of sanctification....just don't take his grace for granted just as Paul warned us in Romans 6:1-2 ''What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?''.

And finally, just as it is clearly written in 1 John 2:1-2 ''My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defence--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.... This means you can always rise up whenever you fall into sins as you get better and better. Don't find pleasure in sin, submit yourself to the workings of the holy spirit and if for any reason you fall into sin, ask for forgiveness in Jesus name but don't ever give up your salvation because Jesus will never ever give up on you.

These are the clear road map to heaven and i hope this blesses someone.

The problem with Nasarawa started in OLD PLATEAU STATE!

Plateau Christians wanted to carry the muslim minorities along in everything cos we never knew these people were evil.
Then in old Plateau state, every deputy appointment was meant for Lower Plateau (Nasarawa) people and it was always given to a muslim.
It's not as if Muslims were more in lower Plateau, but just for the sake of carrying everybody along.

So by the time Nasarawa state was created, all the big shots in the state were Muslims! They formed a muslim clique (led by Abdullahi Adamu) and since then vowed that by hook or crook, a Christian will never rule Nasarawa state.

I don't see a need for long story; man marry a woman with whom you're in synchronization, provided that she's conscientious and has altruistic interest towards you (and vice versa). A conscientious woman (or man) is a resourceful woman, whether or not she has money/earns money directly. Once you've a source of income/can provide for the family, every other thing is secondary, if not irrelevant in this regard - this doesn't make dual income from both parties bad in any way. Resourcesfulness is the ultimate sign of responsibleness, not money itself.

A husband and wife are partners, but they aren't in partnership/competition. So, the idea of a couple earning dual income for the purpose of sharing bills is nonsense as far as I'm concerned. Money remains what it's, a means to an end. It can never be an end. Whosoever that has it at any point in time should spend it cheerfully for the benefit of self and others around them.
