shymexx: I think the Ekiti's have got body for days. Then Ibadan should be next in the body department. Ijebu chics are socialites. But the Egba's are the most beautiful, trust me. I've never met an ugly Egba chic.

If this forum wasn't ridden with psychos, I would have posted pics of my maternal grandma and aunts - all Egba women.

bigfrancis21: @Bold...really? Has the charge fallen to N420? I never knew. Wow. That's great.
Lol, yes. Before I left Naija, I went to GTBank to change my alerts to email alerts, and specifically asked how much the charge was....they told me 420. I've only withdrawn can once with my GTBank card, and I was charged 420 for that smiley

webstradamus: Plus the US bank's ATM fees which could range from $3 to $5 per transaction. Also note that some bank ATM's have very low ATM withdrawal limits (sometimes as low as $300) per transaction and all those charges would eventually add up.
I know about the ATM charges. What I was referring to was the 1000naira flat rate GTBANK used to charge back then, excluding the US bank ATM Charges.
I've only ever withdrawn on an ATM with my GT card sha. GTBANK charged me 420, US bank charged me $2.
Most times I use your idea and do cash back. I will buy stuffs worth very little cash, and check them out individually for cashback grin grin
I've used the money order ish too cheesy
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by MsNas(f): 10:17pm On Oct 21, 2013
Ricky Rozay: But i thought it was formerly #1,000 for every cash withdrawal in the US. Then i guess they have changed the system....

Anyways, Since you are already in the US, you should know better...
It's 420 now
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by MsNas(f):
The guy that wants to send money, use GTBANK Account, if the recipient has one.
The charge on ATM cash withdrawal is 420Naira and not 1000. Also, there is no charge when you swipe the card on POS or for cash back. Its free.

Seunolumonday I was waiting for good news, but don't be deterred. Its yours next time kiss

Adroitbabz: Sir, Arkansas St Uni has d clause of workin afta a semester (for Int'l std)!
As you said....it has a clause.
It says on the website that "Students are not eligible for on-campus employment in their first semester, unless they have written approval from the Department Chair, Director, or their Advisor, stating they need the job". Convincing your advisor you need a job isn't a hard thing to do. My advisor got me my job undecided

flynbird: Wait oh! I dont seem to fully understand this F-1 student 20hrs on-campus work... Is it after the first academic year that we are eligible to work? Or does it apply to just undergrad and not graduate student?
The 20hours can start right from the day you set foot in America. It applies to both undergrad and Grad. Many of the international students at my school got jobs immediately they came in.

imperiouxx: Show myself? shocked shocked That's the rule in most of those countries even in the UK. Se na to school and stay or na to work and get deported, you go choose one.

Come to think of it, how would a full time student do well in class when he/she is working full time including nights?
