Slizbeat: Point out the part that justifies corruption.
Then you can't read. If you can, definitely you have problems with comprehension.
PoliticsRe: Aviation Ministry Confirms N255m Vehicles Purchase For Oduah by MsNas(f): 11:44am On Oct 17, 2013
Slizbeat: I am still watching. Have seen the comments so far and that shows the level of y'all stupidity.

In the face of a commited crime with no ending point yet, y'all still be in support or against when the final truth is not yet out. Very soon, the table will turn and the other party will have a field day.

Word of Advice- Don't jump quickly to condemn or defend anything until the final truth is out. Like I always say, "THE JUST WILL ALWAYS BE VINDICATED".

Oduah, No matter how it be, you have made your mark but I have an advice for you: "Never be afraid to die". Only performers are wanted dead in the present day Nigeria as long as the others don't make a dime from the good work.
O je gbenu buruku e soun! Eni iya. Stop justifying corruption! A thief is a thief, no matter the achievement.
All of them be ranting about the International airport in the SE. How many international flights have flown or landed there since date? How many years before the thing goes derelict?
You people didn't stop to reason that the upgrade might just be another Avenue for her to siphon public funds, while having an alibi? Well she's from your region so she knows how you people behave. She knows you people are mgbekes that are fascinated by shiny things. She knows giving you the shiny things will make you defend her to high heavens, but she also forgot Nigeria isn't comprised of the SE only. Other regions will bash her.
If it were to be a Yoruba bashing thread, all your kinsmen will have jam packed this thread, opening their "enu rirun" and calling us all sorts of name.
It's your turn now, enjoy the limelight and bask in the euphoria grin

H
OjaP: - His wife may not know better. You will be surprised that many people in the US don't even know anything about visa or how to help friends or families with visa parole. How would the wife even know better when she is not an immigration lawyer?

- Since you are not sure on your second point, I won't hold you on it. But for record purpose, Biometrics + Form I-485 cost a total of $1070. The poster already have a form I-130 (costs $420) that has been approved. This summed together is less than $1500. The only thing he would be paying for aside I-485 is medical examination which in most cases is between $200-$500 depending on the surgeon. Assuming a medical examination of even $1k (not even possible), the poster would still be spending less than $2500. You should ask your brother how he got to pay $4k5. Well, maybe he paid a lawyer, I can't rule that out. Again, if you will file yourself without a lawyer, you will never spend up to $4k5.

- What do you mean by change of status and GC? Your status can only change when your application is approved, when you pass the interview. And like I said earlier, this usually happen within 2-6months of filing. I have seen people get it in 2months. You should get your green card in the mail within 2-3weeks after you have been approved. I don't understand what you meant by change of status and authenticating. Please explain better.

- Lastly, we are all watched in the US if you don't know and not only people adjusting status. Although, they conduct a background check on these sets of people but why would you care about who is watching you or even investigating if your marriage is genuine? More reason why I said the poster's case is straight forward and doesn't need a lawyer. He only needs to file properly and go for interview.

Let's always get our facts right before coming here to confuse people please.
Are you an Immigration Lawyer Pls? I need help with something of that nature. Will send you a PM

NYSCRe: What Did You Do With Your NYSC kit After POP? by MsNas(f): 11:30am On Oct 14, 2013
I lost my Jungle boots Babs Animashaun because I no dey Gree wear am come from house and those gate men won't allow you in unless you're fully kitted. I used to carry in in a bag and I just forgot it there one day. I never found it or didn't bother to look sef grin grin. I used to use my khaki pants and socks as pajamas when it's cold grin grin And my crested shirt and jacket still dey my closet for Naija. Very new.

I didn't bother packing the tennis shoes from camp cos they were so weird fitting! I never wore it undecided I bought a military kind of belt in camp cos I couldn't tie the rope they issued us as belts. I used it to spread my clothes in camp anyways cheesy

The kits they supplied us were horrible though. As a kid, I used to see my Dad's NYSC stuffs in the house and they were nice. The cap was a correct baseball cap and the NYSC logo was kinda unique on it. The crested shirt was fitted and to size unlike the agbada they supplied me with. grin Hos khaki was original khaki. And the Jungle boots were nothing like the canoes they supplied us with. It was like Timberland boots. Very solid and the original Orange color. In my camp days we had like 20 different shades of khakis and Jungle boots undecided some people's khaki resembled bile angry grin
