trolling: a lot of dreamers and boasters on the thread only if you know what the future holds, ouch! didnt mean to burst yall bubblesThe future is what you make if it. Just because nobody knows the future doesn't mean we aren't allowed to make plans or dream. Don't seat your bum down and do nothing just cause you dunno what the future holds. You'll be in for a surprise when those people you called dreamers and boasters make something out of themselves and your left hanging! Didn't mean to burst your bubble ![]() |

Its easy and fun to call us Yorubas dirty, betrayers, cowards and all sorts of derogatory words. But hey, the Ibos cannot be touched.....! if you have the guts to insult other tribes then be prepared for your own tribe bashing in the nearest future. The Ibos crying wolf should fez up, it's your turn to receive the tribal bashing. |

imperiouxx: Yea, that's certain. All Asian countries have two official languages, the English Lang isn't used until when they are going out of their territories. So, it's always hard for them to speak in English and to mix up with Americans culture.Yeah sure |
imperiouxx: Na so o. We usually say it here that Nigerian students population is very small compare with Indian and Asians. And some people will say Naija students are the ones flooding American schools! ![]() Some of the Asians can't even speak English sef. |
imperiouxx: Combine all that with thesis and GA, then I'll give you reverberating Tuwale after 1 and half year. Studies here aren't for the weak in mind. FYI: I close 10 or 11pm every 4 days week (on weekends.... half of day)...... last lap race. |
imperiouxx: Got you. Hardly got free time these days.I swear! I can hardly check my email, and when I do? Na so so assignment go full the place. I just taya. I dey enjoy for Naija oo |
imperiouxx: ^^^ baby, you can write ooo! Bros, u think say na once I type that loooong story? Lmaoo. I go type, go do something else, type again...break |
Okay. Continuation. MMA, I said my goodbyes, left Nigerian customs officially (I think that was when I left Naija too. Lool) Fast forward....time for boarding, 9:40pm. Na so the yeye KLM girls dey feel all the "Feel-ables" for my body. My American friend complained with her American accent. Lmaoo Takeoff....I just noticed that the plane was shaking badly! I just kept quiet and prayed oo. Unknowingly, the American too noticed, she told me later and we had a laugh about it. Eight hours later, we were at Amsterdam! Mehn, that Schiphol is nice ooo. And very big too. My Naija friend that was going ro the same school with me had purchased a LOS-AMS-JFK flight, while I had a LOS-AMD-IAD itinerary. We approached one of the old mama youngie KLM staffs, na so she dey give us attitude o. She was blocking us from going to the counter. And as per say we we FOB, we kuku left the counter jeje. The American wasn't aware so when she asked us and we related what happened to her, she got so pissed and carry us for back say make we go there. Mehn, American accent can do wonders! Loool. Shaparly, they let us through. Long story, they told us her itinerary can't be changed cos its a connecting flight and her bags has been put on the flight to JFK. Ok oo We had to wait cos our connecting flights was in 8 hours. We explored the airport taya. We did oversabi, bought coffee at one overpriced shop. The thing bitter ehn, we packed all the sugar they had into it, still...the thing no sweet. Lool. Bought some kinda bread too. After a while, we went to the departure lounge, we were so tired that I slept off! God saved me. I nearly missed my flight! I ran like crazy! Fast forward 9 hours again...Touchdown-Washington. Na so protocol start o. They didn't touch my bags anyway but still I spent over two hours at the counter. Before I could get out, I had missed my flight to school. Here I was in a foreign land and I'm so disoriented. I wanted to cry! I had 3 heavy bags and I was stuck. I went to AA counter to complain about my missed flight o. They were like, I had to pay $200 for that missed flighy. I went to look for another airline, for $140, problem was...the next flight was for 6am the next morning. Okay oo I didn't wanna go through the wahala of looking for hotels, I just parked my cart in front on me, took out the blanket I stole from KLM and settled. Bought a charger for my fone and I was set. Come and see as I dey survey. I swear, Hollywood is a Bas.tard. They gave us the impression that Americans were this beautiful set of people! Lmaoooo. Truth is....70% are overweight and most of them no too fine. The kain fat wey people dey get for here is disgusting! 3 layer fat! Kai kai kai!!! Another thing be say...people no send for here. See as people dey sleep for airport floor when me I can't even sit on the floor. I was awake all through the night. The night workers ehn! Na naija people full the place! Nigeria we hail thee!!! Loool. Morning could not come fast enough. One hilarious thing happened tho. I noticed I was always visiting the bathroom since I landed! Like every 15mins or so. Ok oo, probably cos of the continental change. Na so piss hold me again, I went to the bathroom downstairs and since I couldn't leave my luggage, I wheeled the cart along. After I finished and I was going to ythe elevators for a ride to the top floor, na so I use my cart to brush one Afican American's leg oo. Come and see curse!!! The ebonics was so strong, I barely could hear what he was saying. But I sha know say na curse he dey curse me. Lmaooo! I wheel my cart FAST!! Before he pull gun for me. I never enter America 3 hours, I don dey find trouble! 5pm like this...sharply I don check in my flight. I was amazed at the speed I blended. I no do like JJC atall. DFW airport was cool. I liked it. One other thing I'm grateful for was ....people loved my accent! Most people could understand what I was saying and I didn't have to repeat my words unlike the other girl. COMING SOON!!! MY EXPERIENCE IN SCHOOL |

I remember the day wey I come, one wan psych me say only me get 2 visas and I no wan drop naim I tell am say if he give me offering wey I go pay for church this morning, I go appreciate.Lmaoo. Bros, you think say I happy to give those guys the money? Nooo, on the contrary I didn't end up giving them the money oo. Bloody thieves! The way they beg is shameless!!! Grown men and women throwing dignity to the winds and begging for handouts ![]() |
