Politics › Re: Things You Didn't Know About Maryam Abacha by mu2sa2: 12:43pm On Jan 17, 2013
Maryam Abacha remains the most intelligent and most articulate first lady Nigeria has had so far. As for the worst first lady - the semi-illiterate takes it easily.
Politics › Re: Things You Didn't Know About Maryam Abacha by mu2sa2: 12:34pm On Jan 17, 2013
juman: Gen. Abacha was a bad leader.
Abacha is a saint compared to the people who hav ruled nigeria since he died, including the incumbent. What Abacha stole is mere change in comparison to the trillions they are carting away now. By the way what is GEJ's worth - I dont give a damn if u dont know.
Politics › Re: Buhari May Change His Mind On 2015 Election by mu2sa2: 11:59am On Jan 17, 2013
Burger01: Baba, after your crocodie tears on national TV and your promise not to run for presidential race if not electected during the last presidential election you are still pondering if you may change your mind... Baba sai, why are you not a man of your words? Nigeria can do better without you. Baba, please go retire from presidential race...leave the playing field for the youths...
The same attitude with GEJ, who said he would not seek re-election but from all indications is going to eat his word. Many people voted for GEJ in 2011 but are regretting today because of his incompetence.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Imagine This Cover Letter: Can It Work Here in Nigeria? by mu2sa2: 9:42am On Jan 17, 2013
Excellent letter. The applicant is intelligent and willing to learn- these two attributes qualifies him to be taken straightaway by a discerning employer. But in nigeria employment is more often than not based on political, ethnic or family considerations- you dont even need to apply, you are just called on because with the right connection nobody cares about your competence.
Travel › Re: Nigerians In Afghanistan, Lets Meet Here by mu2sa2: 1:20pm On Jan 16, 2013
Kzinne: Na wa o so naija dey afghanistan? guy wetin u dey do for dere? u try o
There are many nationalities working in Afghanistan. Last year Nuhu Ribadu was on UN assignment there. You dont hav to be a soldier to work in Afghanistan.
Politics › Re: What Was Budgeted By Lagos For Feeding In 2013? by mu2sa2: 9:52am On Jan 16, 2013
Why the obsession with budget for food? Security Vote (vote for govt house) is where the big theft is committed. If u look at the budget for govt house for virtually all the states it is the largest. This is the money the governor and his wife or wives (so-called first ladies) play with anyhow because it is not accounted for.
Politics › Re: Sanusi Calls For Ban Of CAN, JNI, ACF, Afenifere by mu2sa2: 9:35am On Jan 16, 2013
God add to your blessings SLS for speaking the truth. CAN especially under Oritsejafor is only creating enmity between xtians and muslims. JNI is just a jamboree for traditional rulers. Neither organisation serves the interest of the ordinary xtian or muslim. Even if they are not banned, they should be sidelined- this way, the politicians heading them, but masquerading as religious leaders, will find their fortune elsewhere.
Romance › Re: Identical Twin Sisters Marry Identical Twin Brothers (pics) by mu2sa2: 9:32pm On Jan 15, 2013
There was a similar wedding in offa, kwara state 2 or 3 years ago -identical twin brothers got married to identical twin sisters. The wedding was shown on NTA and lots of identical twins were in attendance including the Sunmonu brothers.
Politics › Re: What Can Be Done To Curb Corruption In Nigeria? by mu2sa2: 8:25pm On Jan 15, 2013
Simple disintegration will curb corruption
If u disintegrate, it will be a case of from frying pan into fire - the corruption will simply be multiplied and confined to a smaller geographical area. If u had biafra or oduduwa republic u simply relocate corruption there.
Politics › Re: What Can Be Done To Curb Corruption In Nigeria? by mu2sa2: 8:05pm On Jan 15, 2013
How do u hav free and fair elections with corrupt electoral officers and corrupt judges to declare rigged election as substantially in compliance with d electoral law? Why not tackle corruption frontally and all other things will fall into place.
Politics › Re: Amosun Blames NNPC For Pipeline Vandalization In Ogun State by mu2sa2: 1:15pm On Jan 15, 2013
NNPC is blaming state govts for encroaching on pipilne right of way, while gov Amosun blames NNPC. Equation balanced nigerian style.End of the matter. Awaiting another fire!
Health › Re: Study Ties Fast Food To Asthma, Eczema In Children by mu2sa2: 1:07pm On Jan 15, 2013
Izrhiell: I personally think that even the mere dust in Nigeria iz capable of infecting a child with asthma. Not to talk of mothers who do not take care of their children and allow them go shirtless in cold weather. Buh anyways I don't think fast food can cause asthma at least not in my area. * I can't afford to miss a daily dose of Iya Bumi's bread and beans chai yummy yummy* hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
I dont think bread and the good old beans nigerian style is fast food (alias junk food).

Politics › Re: 30% Of Children In Northern Nigeria Are Street Beggars – Don by mu2sa2: 11:53am On Jan 15, 2013
calebo101: 30% of children in Nothern Nigeria are street beggars... Thereforehuh Did they pass a law preventing them from going to school? Or are there no schools there? People that say NO to western education youu still want them to go to school? I use God beg you nor disturb us this morning with this rubbish, nor try am. Mtschewwww cool
There's probably not one single almajiri boy who doesn't want to go to school. The problem lies with the state govts who are paying lip service to education. Nearly all of these boys are from the rural areas and there are no schools there or the schools only exist in name.
Politics › Re: U.S. To Expand Drone Attacks To Nigeria Says Leon Panetta, U.s. Defence S by mu2sa2: 11:20am On Jan 15, 2013
ilugunboy: I can't see why anybody in Nigeria should wish for the above on Nigerians
Leave them to fantasize. They think boko haram is the target. Americans actually want to secure their oil supplies- so Niger Delta be ready for the drones.

991: and my patriotic moronigerians will always sit quietly waiting for someone to tell them what is wrong or not,
waiting for someone to read out chapters and verses of the same bible they have at home,
waiting for someone to tell them what god said and what he did not,

Romance › Re: Arrange Marriage Vs Love Marriage : Which One Do You Prefer? by mu2sa2:
"Arranged marriage" sounds odd to young people of today, but it's a time-honoured tradition that works. These days a boy meets a girl at a God-knows-where, they start calling each other honey, darling, sweetheart and the next thing is marriage - like joke! Does anybody expect such union to go far?
Food › Re: He Is Addicted To Coke!!!! by mu2sa2: 3:39pm On Jan 14, 2013
marshpearl: @op. . My aunt is also an addict she drinks 9 coca cola bottles a day but ma aunt is too smart to be conquered by senator diabetis cuz she has one herbal drink she usually takes to totally neutralises her sugar level. . .she's been an addict for over 17years and will keep drinking coke till she grows old and gives up the ghost or jesus comes. . .either ways she's going to coke paradise smiley grin
It is better if she stops taking coke and there will be no need for the herbal thing. 17 years on 9 cokes per day!- calculate it in naira & kobo and add the cost of the herbal mixture. Pls let your sister try and break the coke habit rather than damage her health deliberately and try to repair it.
Food › Re: He Is Addicted To Coke!!!! by mu2sa2: 3:29pm On Jan 14, 2013
The best way to break your addiction to coke is to find a good substitute for it. Orange or banana will be okay. Whenever u feel the urge to take coke, just take orange or banana. After sometime u will overcome the addiction; u will even hate to see coke. Apart from saving money, fruit is good for your health.
Health › Re: Best Way To Carry A Baby Is On Your Back? by mu2sa2: 1:07pm On Jan 14, 2013
all4naija: The baby is safer at the front. Women never got pregnant at the back! Nature is right about such protection and modern is way better off in that regard.
The back is more convenient to free the hands for the mother to do her chores.
Islam › Re: Prophet Muhammad's Letter To The Monks Of St. Catherine Monastery by mu2sa2: 2:09pm On Jan 13, 2013
Arysexy: This goes to show that they were persecuting xtians and non-muslims. No smoke without fire! Muhamed can not wake up and start sending letter to the Monks. Possibly the muslims were persecuting them and destroying their places of worship and d monks wrote him before this reply. Still shows the intolerance of muslims even in the era of muhamed.
The letter is not the only of its kind. The position in Islamic law is that non-muslims living in an Islamic state who accept the authority of the state must be protected by the Islamic authorities, including protecting their lives and property and be allowed to practice their religion in all its ramifications. Islam enjoins fairness and justice at all time to everyone. Even in war the rules of warfare in Islam are so humane, u'll be amazed- google it and read.
Islam › Re: Prophet Muhammad's Letter To The Monks Of St. Catherine Monastery by mu2sa2: 1:48pm On Jan 13, 2013
Thatdave: uptill now no imam has denounced the northern blood shed as unislamic. giving references to the quran. on national news paper or television! the true muslims are afraid. those to wage the true jihad have no balls. 4uk islam.
Countless muslims hav spoken against the violence imposed on the ordinary people in parts of the north by Boko haram and their partners in the violence, JTF. In kaduna Sheikh Gumi from the onset openly condemned boko haram and he was nearly killed by two suicide bombers. In Borno many muslims who opposed bh were killed by them. Imams and several other muslims hav condenmed bh and advised federal govt on how to end the violence. Even shehu Sani, the kaduna-based rights activist, had said before that no force on earth can defeat BH and together with OBJ attempted to reach out to BH but were frustrated by GEJ administration. The violence has continued because the FG sees more violence as the only path to peace!!!
Politics › Re: Implementation Of Sharia By Obasanjo Created Boko-Haram! – Gbanite by mu2sa2: 5:54pm On Jan 12, 2013
The man is not being fair to OBJ. Neither OBJ nor what people call introduction of sharia is the cause of the violence. The violence started in 2009 even though boko haram had being in existence since 2001 as a peaceful preaching group. Boko haram violence should be blamed on ex-gov Sherriff who used police to start killing bh members for political reasons. Bh then acquired arms themselves and the rest is now history.
Celebrities › Re: Muhammad Ali’s Advice To His Daughters On Indecent Dressing by mu2sa2:
osifred: My friend get Ur facts right. Am a Christian. This thread has nothing I mean absolutely nothing to do with Christianity or Islam. I didn't see your thread before starting this. And yes I had to add reference/source because they are not my words and Ali didn't personally tell me.

What's with people and front page?
Everyone should commend these words of wisdom. But the idle folks will as usual bring all sorts of sentiments into it. Thankfully Ali is not a nigerian otherwise ethnic bigots would hav had a field day hurling negatives at him.

Islam › Re: Dear Parents In Islam by mu2sa2: 4:25pm On Jan 11, 2013
tbaba1234: There are a lot of fundamental problems with muslim parents (and parents in general) in this age... You find parents watching movies with their kids that have inappropriate scenes, parents do not vet what their kids are exposed to. Nollywood movies are the greatest culprit here. What would have been pG 18 10 years is now PG, it shows an erosion of our value system.

As parents, it is your responsibility to guide your kids.

I wrote this a while back

Movie-watching as a whole to me is a waste of valuable time. If u dont watch the trash they call film, movie or whatever u are better of.

tchidi: shocked shocked

See oyibo juju oº°˚! Water no gree mix!
The fact that two different waters dont mix if they meet was made known to mankind by Almighty God over 1400 years ago (Quran chapter 55 v 19-20 "He (God)released the two seas, meeting (side by side); Between them is a barrier so neither of them transgresses"wink. It was only in the 1970s that a french scientist found this out and when he announced his discovery his attention was drawn to the infallible word of Allah quoted. The Quran is not a book of science, but it contains accurate statements about science, some of which are yet to be discovered.
Health › Re: UNIBEN Professor Recants HIV/AIDS Cure Discovery by mu2sa2: 11:40am On Jan 11, 2013
With so many groups around whose continued existence is dependent on their being no cure for AIDS, i wonder if any cure claim will be taken seriously. A cure for AIDS will spell doom for so many people and these people wouldn't want that to happen.
Crime › Re: Lagos-Ibadan Express Way: Robbery Experience TODAY by mu2sa2: 11:15am On Jan 11, 2013
delors: As much as I would v said u complicated the robbery with your grammar, I think it makes sense to first thank God for sparing your life and the lives of others. Its a very terrible nightmare to encounter those demons...something no one would love to encounter. I almost ran into them too a couple of years back from Ibadan to Lagos but we got a wind of the operation n virtually all vehicles turned on the express back towards ibadan. Nigeria is becoming somethin like Thomas Hobbes' "STATE OF NATURE"..may God help us.
Back to business, sister, u for just try buy QUEEN PRIMER I and Brigther Grammar II to avoid future grammatical armed robbery calamity...na for ya own good o.
QUEEN PRIMER I and Brigther Grammar II - doesn't look like these books are still in print. Anyway, the the poster's grammar may not be sophisticated but she did communicate. The language is immaterial if the meaning is plain, so the poster may not need your colonial textbooks.

He is telling his own side of the story. We are waiting to hear obj's. It's even not true that el-rufai isn't saying something new - did u hear b4 that obj was on his knees begging Atiku to allow him pick the pdp 2003 presidential ticket. At least the on his knees part is brand new revelation.
