Assalamu alaikum,

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" if" opens the (gate) for the Satan.

I have a problem with my internet service here. I barely browse, thats why I could not eve come up here yesterday.

@Nezan,

You seem to have proven that your 'religion' is based on nothing but confusion and contradiction. Why? You are being trying to justify unjustifiable. My meaning here is that; let's assume we were convinced that God exists in Trinity, how are you expecting us to regard many other verses that say there is One true God? Remember that is the message of many other prophets before Jesus, on whom be peace, as the OP states. Are they invalidated by your claim? Can they? Nope, of course. Right?

Secondly, if really God exist in trinity, i.e. by begotten son you called Jesus and Holy Spirit; why didn't he exist like that until Jesus era? All the messengers before him have never preached it--if we, again, Jesus, on whom be peace, preached it.

In conclusion (before my full response), your problem is just of accepting Jesus on his true status--Prophet, (Luke, 24:19, Mathew, 5:17-18 &5:24, John, 8:40, and so on). Why are you so plainly and unashamedly defying his message and claiming this and that? Go back to the 1st page and see how we regard him.

Oh. . .poor, innocent Jesus!
IslamRe: The Death Of The Prophet: Coming Soon by muhsin(m): 9:02pm On Jul 15, 2009
Nezan:
You can never doubt the truthfulness of God's son who never committed sin while on earth. Mo on the other hand, committed so many atrocities in the name of religion which imply the God who each represented was not the same. Too many sad stories from mo: Satanic verses, Peodophile, Polygamist, Murderer, Banditry, e.t.c. compared to Jesus's meek and holy personality. Mind you, he did not know that the meat was poisoned until somebody died shocked shocked while Jesus predicted his own death grin grin

You always qoute my Bible too, do you believe in it? You should because koran is a plagiarisation/distortion of Biblical accounts. I can never trust in your hadiths, just to point out the funny stories about your prophet tongue
Apparently, your accusations here are twofold: i.e. Jesus, on whom be peace, was a saint while Muhammad, on whom be peace, erred, right?

2ndly, I quote bible (as you do quote Qur'an); does that mean I believe in it?

1-Prophet Muhammad errs not. All these you've tirelessly saying are explicitly baseless and groundless accusations. Had it been it has not been proved to you much recently I would do it now. Go back and read these threads.
And I believe in Jesus as I do believe in Muhammad, on whom be peace. Therefore I can niether defame nor dent his aglow image.

2-Bible is incontestanbly interpolated; full with absurdities, contradictions, confusions, etc. Yet, that does not render it wholly erroneous for there are "true" sayings of Jesus, on whom be peace, and his Creator Allah, the Exalted.

I am opening a thread elaborating on my second point, inshaAllah, soon. Till then. . .Ciao!

Assalamu alaikum to my Muslim brothers and sisters, and hi to all others,

I think am the first to reply to this thread, seeing and at the same time feeling these "hijackers" would definitely dance with joy and maybe laugher. Hmm. . .my predisposition has at last proved aright. I wonder what joy or benefit did/do they get out of that.

And to the issue at stake; Abuzola, your attention is lastly called; where you seemed misguided you are now guided. I thank Allah profusely seeing how you lower your head, sheath your dagger and publicly renounced your prior actions and inactions and humbly re-bounced back to "sense". May the Almighty Allah reward you, ameen.

Mukina, I am out of right words to describe you matured, sensible and thoughtful reaction and action towards the whole matter. May Allah, the Most Exalted, bless and reward you, ameen.

And to all that mediate, especially brothers like Olabs, Babs, Javalove, fellis and to you old pal, lagosmanboy; where have you been? Hope everything is fine with you. Allah, the Almighty, bless us all.

@the rest,
Please behave your age, folks. Nobody amongst us here is under age, nor immature let alone mad or uneducated. Please lets do things for the sake of peace, understanding and development of our selves spiritually. I think thats why we are here, right.

Let me single out Not2Athiesm: Can anybody describe to me what this guy did? Are his rantings on a good track or not?

Thanks

Assalamu alaikum,

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Avoid suspicion, for suspicion is the gravest lie in talk and do not be inquisitive about one another and do not spy upon one another and do not feel envy with the other, and nurse no malice, and nurse no aversion and hostility against one another. And be fellow-brothers and servants of Allah.

@Nezan,

You are a wonderful fella.

Regarding the thread, I wonder why did you bother yourself to know how Prophet Muhammad died. Why? Doe how he died qualify him as a true prophet or not? I, being a Muslim, have never dispute the prophethood of Jesus, how you claim he died notwithstanding.

Secondly, you imbibe a habit of quoting hadeeth to support your words. Seeing this I sometimes ago asked you a question, which you deceptively escaped answering. Anyway, let me repeat it: Do you believe in what its said in it?

Thanks

[b]Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, use the word "Allah" to mean "God". The Christian Arabs of today have no other word for 'God' than 'Allah'. (Even the Arabic-descended Maltese language of Malta, whose population is almost entirely Roman Catholic, uses Alla for 'God'.) Arab Christians for example use terms Allāh al-ʼab (الله الأب) meaning God the father, Allāh al-ibn (الله الابن) mean God the son, and Allāh al-rūḥ al-quds (الله الروح القدس) meaning God the Holy Spirit
Arab Christians have used two forms of invocations that were affixed to the beginning of their written works. They adopted the Muslim basm-allah, and also created their own Trinitized basm-allah as early as the eight century CE. The Muslim basm-allah reads: "In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful." The Trinitized basm-allah reads: "In the name of Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, One God palatable to Muslims.
According to Marshall Hodgson, it seems that in the pre-Islamic times, some Arab Christians made pilgrimage to the Kaaba, a pagan temple at that time, honoring Allah there as God the Creator.[2Marshall Goodwin Simms Hodgson (1922–1968), was an Islamic Studies academic and a world historian at the University of Chicago. He was chairman of the interdisciplinary Committee on Social Thought in Chicago. He was also a practicing Quaker.Hodgson was the author of the three-volume The Venture of Islam: Conscience and History in a World Civilization. Through this work, and his overall scholarship on Islam, he was renowned in his day. In addition to this, his modern importance rests with his work on world history, which remained relatively unnoticed during his lifetime. Much of it was rediscovered and subsequently published through the efforts of Edmund Burke III of the University of California, Santa Cruz.

I did that selfless service to help davidylan see crystal clear what's written without looking for his spectacle.

Hey man, calm down. The whole thing can be easily resolved. And now. I don't mean anything bad in my response.

1- It does not make meaning because I am not brainwashed.

2- Do you have any proof to back up your saying. And to, as well, buttress mine?

3- Why is it a divine mystery, pal? Why can't it be explained to a non-Christian like me? What if, for example, I am looking for a reason to convert? Allah forbid.

OLAADEGBU:
This is a quote from the pastor of First Baptist Church, Dallas. (1909-2002)

"From beginning to ending there is not a word or syllable or revelation in the Word of God that has contradicted or ever will contradict, any true, substantiated scientific fact."
Is this really true? Lets see:

Its said:

"And Jesus said. . .for with God ALL THINGS are possible".(Mathew, 19:26)

But why:

"And the Lord was with Judah; and he drove out the inhabitants of the mountain; but COULD NOT drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had CHARIOTS OF IRON." (jUDGES 1:19).

Isn't this an apparent contradiction? Any explanation? Thanks
