Since the advent of the Local content act in the Oil and Industry, up to 50% of the servicing jobs were seeded to our local oil and gas servicing companies, they now prefer to employ people as contract staff. These jobs are similar to what multinationals like schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Haliburton etc do and they employ there staff with good pay and better work conditions.

Believe me, am talking from experience, some of these contract workers are paid as low as 35K a month.
Most of the Indigenous Oil servicing companies send their contract staff to work offshore to stay 3months without adhering to the normal 2weeks in 2weeks out work cycle pattern adopted by the multinationals, they do this just to avoid employing more people....

I don't Know why DPR should not step into this issue and audit these companies that turn our people to slaves...

jaysm: Mind u the ppl that were arrested are not frm Ogwashi uku, they in Agbor, 35km away frm ogwashi-uku. Most of they don't even know whether Ngozi's mother was kidnapped, even d teacher who came frm town to school in village were also arrested. The arrest was in Alisor, Omumu, and the Oza communities these were about 10 communities is not even close to Ogwashi-uku at all. Now the Nigerian Army has taken over these communities for nothing arresting anybody they sees even disabled ppl.

Mr. Lanre Fashesin has not been heard from in the last 3 months after he was kidnapped at a site in Edo State.

The family had up until now made frantic efforts to secure his release to no avail. The Police also claim to have hit a dead end and seem to have become clueless as to how else to find the kidnapped engineer. Mr. Fashesin was working at the site where he was kidnapped as a contractor for Dextron Engineering Limited based in Lagos.

The family today put out a release appealing to members of the public to kindly join in the search for Lanre who recently just got married.

Engr. Lanre Fashesin, referred to by the kidnappers as ‘Larry’ (see picture) was kidnapped around a Niger Delta PHCN project site in Iguiye village(between Okada & Benin City) 4 months ago. We have not heard anything from him or the kidnappers for about 3 months now.

Strangely I made my best grades in the university when I started practising the Nnayi thing in my third year as an engineering student. My GP and that of my Nnayi girlfriend improved tremendously. This obviously has a chain effect on transportation, food price and cost of living in general. strangely, highbrow areas Chevron - Lekki PH1 pay for only 1 gate while middle and lowbrow areas Chevron - Epe pay thrice. ACN aint got no love for the poor masses - sick sick sick.

Bro, dont give any more money, if you can even collect some of the one's you've given, the better.
