It baffles me a great deal when people forget to mention the Aboru Bridge when they list the infrastructural achievements of Governor Ambode. Those who knew the area before the construction of the bridge will forever appreciate the good works of the Governor. I used to tell people that if I am offered a piece of land, free of charge in Aboru, I will not hesitate to reject it.

Aboru was a laid back, undeveloped and forgotten area that lacks every basic amenities. It was also inaccessible. Before the bridge was built, the only vehicle that could manage to navigate the area were the Okadas and that comes with a lot of discomfort to the driver and the passenger. Families and friends of those who live there don't visit them. It was that bad.

You will wonder how I know so much about the place. My sister in law lives there. She and her husband were among the first settlers. They own houses there.

Immediately the bridge and some adjoining roads were built and commissioned, Aboru was transformed. The place became motorable and values of properties in the area skyrocketed. A primary health centre/clinic was also built for the community. The people started living like human beings. The people of Aboru will forever remember Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

I am 100% sure that the project will be abandoned when Sanwoolu resumes. This is a loss to tax-payers.

If Sanwo-Olu abandoned the uncompleted projects, he (Sanwo-Olu) will be punishing Lagosians and not Ambode. I believe that the best way to endear himself to the people is to finish those projects as promptly as possible!

I have always said it that NERC is not on the side of Electricity consumers. NERC is very corrupt and benefitting seriously from Estimated Bills. Mark my words, the MAP thing will not commence because NERC will make sure that the DISCOS and MAP do not enjoy good working relationship!

Same thing I told my friend yesterday. Two major reasons the North didn't vote for Atiku were largely due to his promise to restructure Nigeria and to Privatize NNPC. It is glaring that these two proposals make economic sense but due to political parasitism by the North, ethnic bigotry and self-centeredness, they will never allow this country to move forward. Everybody knows of a truth that the present NNPC is just a shadow of itself but some Nigerians hate the truth. I think Atiku should have played Buhari kind of politics - promise heaven and Earth and lie to the North in order to get their votes. Most Nigerians don't like who tells them the truth. That politically nailed Atiku.

But Atiku had to tell the South, especially the South West what they wanted to hear to get their votes. The South East voted for Atiku because of Peter Obi and restructuring, while those that voted for Atiku in the Southwest did so because of restructuring!

But Atiku has never said what Obasanjo wrote about him is false. Instead, he went to Obasanjo to apologise for his past misdemeanors.

Just recently, before the elections, Obasanjo said that although he has forgiven Atiku, he (Obasanjo) still STAND BY EVERYTHING he wrote in his book about Atiku. What was Atiku's response to that statement, NONE!

The winner must have
FIRSTLY = the highest number of votes in the whole election all over Nigeria
SECONDLY = in 25 different States (with or without FCT) he must have a minimum of 25% of the total number of votes per State (NB: Any 25 States)

APC desperately needs to get 25% votwwes in any SE or SS zone states or its all over for them, seeinge as they have lost FCT as they could not get 25% of the votes there.

APC will get 25% in Delta and Edo states.

NERC is the problem of Electricity consumers in Nigeria. Have you noticed how they keep shifting MAP operational date forward? The truth is that NERC does not want MAP to function because they are enjoying returns from Estimated Bills by DISCOS. Mark my words, the year 2019 will come to an end and NERC will make sure that MAP is still not operating!
