^^^ Are you sure 'most people' love to join the spy? #Unemployment these days drives people to the security agencies. |
JW214: From now henceforth, I won't be readin "The Nation newspaper" again, they are so misleading. For every media outlet, you must know the proprietor(s) or stakeholders to understand the paper. Usually, he who pays the piper dictates so always read the two sides to the 'coin'. If you are privy to listen to CBS owned Adaba FM, you wouldn't even give LP a chance. The truth is that except you're on ground or other sources have confirmed it, do not be quick to see all you read on papers. I can bet you, ACN would soon start claiming irregularities (both valid and invalid) to give you the impression of massive rigging. Prior to the election, they cause unnecessary tension with all of their hullaballo. I hope they can truly follow the 'democracy for justice' principle they harp on so we can have more reliable opposition parties in the country. Mimiko's aid was his grassroots campaign, Akeredolu's nemesis was the Tinubu factor (the photo below shows you what a lot of Ondo people feel) and the controversial way he became the party's candidate (this is even where ACN shot itself in the foot). Oke is okay but surprisingly, his party PDP is not a problem but Agagu's performance. Congrats to the winner. I hope to see LG chairmen doing their jobs too.

ACM10: Ose LGAWhy is PDP's own "pulled"? |
Inasmuch as I've got issues with GEJ's issues, I must commend him for being commited to ensuring a free and fair election in this country for we remember the atmosphere when we had "do or die". From my observation, INEC still has to do more as regards LOGISTICS and SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS. Riverine areas around Ese odo, Illaje, Odigbo are areas where you have some communities determining how the polls should be conducted instead of the other way round. The POs have no choice but to co-operate otherwise, they won't cross the rivers back to the INEC offices safely. |
lumideezle: Also forget about all these professional exams here and there people are shouting about. They are only using training fees to rip Nigerians off.Believe me employers do not fall for pro courses anymore what gets you in the door is your skill and what you can do for them not what paper you have to show.Avoid professional courses at your own peril. When you start working, you'll remember not to ''forget about all these professional exams here and there people are shouting about''. One of the best times you've got FOR YOURSELF is during the service year. Apparently, our (under)graduates have a warped idea of what professional courses could offer them and also lack guidance and counselling hence they end up taking courses they have less/no interest in. Nevertheless, my dogma remains that no knowledge is useless, one way or the other, they'd all conjoin for your advantage. Employers have never fallen for professional courses, they've only admired these achievements. However, whether you go to Havard or Hazard University, if you can not prove your mettle, you'll be kicked out - we have to realise that certificates are only hard copy evidences while the soft copy resides in your intellect (more like Intellectual Property) you've gained via academic and real-life experiences. Please develop yourself - the moment you stop reading, you are only as good as yesterday's slolution-solver not tomorrow's. I'd only advise you to think hard about your career line so you can find what's suitable for your line. You don't want to start a family and that's when you're just thinking of courses you should've done during your youth - children, wife/husband, engagements, work palava, adequate sleep will all be combating for your 'ME' time. It's how to practicalise these knowledge skills (e.g. white collared) that make some see the 'irrelevance' in them which is an uninformed position. |
Funny, 2 - 5 can change anytime soon for these 3 players can feature for SE. There's more probability in Martins being recalled and extending his tally than Yak. |
Am aware people have issues in all your credit being zeroed out at the end of the weekend in the Etisalat double recharge promo but that's beside the case here. By default, intentionally or unknowingly, if your NGN200 of your credit is being deducted, please kindly dial *229*0*0# to opt out of this nonsense Etisalat terms a package. They say they charge NGN200 for 20mb monthly Facebook App subscription - that means even without credit or when you've exhausted your data plan, you have a separate Facebook data bundle which costs you NGN200 for 20mb per month. Where's the logic in there when some subscribers can load NGN200 and get free 15mb per week? Why would anyone be forced to pay NGN200 to use the Facebook application on his/her phone? The annoying thing is when they cunningly hide these Ts and Cs of these so-called packages!!! |
Airtel is actually better in response time now; seems to be a case of how |
Businesstools: At the Management School,I was taught that a product or business undergoes five major stages, introduction, growth, maturity, decline and death.I guess Mr Biggs has reached the last stage.Maturity it is! If it were decline, they won't have gone through the rebranding they embarked on last year (a feature of maturity) ![]() |
DICKtator: Wont only tag their demise on competition. After all, they had the goodwill and strong customer base ,which they could have leveraged on, before the so-called competition arose. On point!!! There was a time Tanatalizers was their only major competitor. I've not observed the close down of a lot that makes it "awwww" but whatever UAC Foods has up its sleeves, the brand is not like it used to be - being on top is easier than staying there! |
Dat GTBank sort code belongs 2 a particular branch & so I think 4 oda listed banks.
Sort Code: 058152052 GTBank|| Plot 1669, Oyin Jolayemi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos||VICTORIA ISLAND||Lagos |
muyenmuyen: pls my friend , don"t follow what someone qouted as sort code . just go to ur bank branch/nearby same bank to ask 4 sortcode. In this country, we are fond of making simple things seem difficult. Zenith bank happens to have these codes online and I provided the link. Some of them I verified on the twitter handle of these banks (just to crosscheck) as tweeps do ask banks this question. What if I can't go to the bank on saturday and I need it that day? Too much "Where-Is-UMYA-" over sorting. What's the biggie in a sort code Even CBN should have it on its website. Phew |
yomatty: FST 135 AUThis new number plates no flow o! Don't even like these ones - confusion!!! |
I've known every of our family member's since I was a kid. Even now, there's no one I don't store. iGuess it helps it's already part of me and helps in 'sorting' our vehicles. The ones I usually like are other states, it makes me guess what Kakawa State - 'LKI' for example means. |
ace1: Please I need the sort code for Ecobank, Rumuokoro branch, Port Harcourt. Bank's closed already and I need to fill it on a form. Checked Ecobank's website cant find it dere. The sort code is - 056210080|| RUMUOKORO, PHC||11, EAST- WEST ROAD, RUMUOKORO JUNCTION, PORT-HARCOURT That bank was formally Oceanic bank. |
This excel file on this link has all the sort codes - http://zenithbank.com/SORTCODES.xls For example, Bank Phb appears here (caveat) but iSuppose Keystone should retain that. attaka: A sort code identifies a specific branch of a bank. It has 9-digits. first 3 are the bank's code, the next is the location and the last 5 are for the branch. It is printed on every single checkleaf, the middle set of characters on the MICR line .^^^That should answer @beamed's question. |
1. Do not post the employment letter here online. If you however choose to do so, I'd just only need to remind you of Keiran in #Schicklegate some few weeks back. 2. "If you talk ehn, anything you say would be used against you in the court of law" - well that's NPF terminilogy. For you, it's the agreement you had with the employer that will determine how much errors you can 'undelete' fron your recycle bin. 3. Your employment contract states your POSITION - you can't be performing in a role that has no nexus with the position you occupy/tag you wear. You are a Sr. Faculty according to your story. 4. Don't mix sentiments with your job. When you've got a job to do, do so at the stated time. If you're gonna be working overtime, you ought to be rewarded. 5. Well, you've resigned now. Under the contract of employment, you are entitled to remuneration for your work. 6. You can't recover your money by "any means", otherwise, you'd receive ANY kinda advice - even from the garri sellers. 7. This IMO is more of a legal case (aside suasion via tete-a-tete with the guyman) and I wanna believe you tendered your resignation within the stipulated notification period. 8. IDK which country you're writing from, but by default, I assume you're in Nigeria. Do read these - Breach of Contract - Kaine Agary The Contract of Employment Nigeria Employment Laws in Nigeria in the 21st Century Peace sir! ![]() |
Then, check the List of Professional Institutions/Associations in Nigeria |
Why don't Nigerians like using e- commerce sites? If e-commerce is what I know it for, then that question is 200-ish then. Why we have not tapped into it as one would have expected better suits your enquiry. Anyway, one particular issue in using Amazon isntead of a Nigerian Mama's Son are SECURITY + MISTRUST in online deals. |
I've seen one keyword I was expecting - ego. Do what you gatz to do and comot. Learn to separate work issues from personal shenanighans. |
Most science courses are not usually 'viable' in Nigeria 'cos we do not appreciate science - right from school days. You do need to contact your school's counselling department. Your narration smacks of a daddy that likes something but that's not the same case for you. Your inability to 'enlighten' your dad on the prospects of the chemistry course has not convinced hime yet - like Ajanlekoko mentioned, there's a real chance of you being a 'resident dependant' instead of a medical student for some years due to the tough competition for admission into such a course. As much as you've read bleak comments about Chemistry, I can also give you same about Medicine in Nigeria too. It's virtually all sectors that the 'Nigerian Factor' has prevented from functioning but you still have professions here. What I'd advise you to do is to evaluate both courses and check which one of 'em fits well into your interests, not your father's for we've seen artistes for example who reveal that they only studied some courses to satisfy their parents and then follow their passion afterwards. Contact chemists or even your lecturers (Chemistry) to give you what the prospects are. I can help you in both regards (Chemistry & Medicine). |
I'm sorry but if you don't know what you want to give out, how do you know what is wanted? Methinks, you ought to have an idea of what you want to offer (as you're obviously not Mr. Jack) then conduct a 'feasibility sudy' as per the Nigerian career market. There are so many courses spread across different fields, so, you have to streamline. |
bayulll01: Youth disobey the clarion calllol While @Kamardian may have an advice to corpers, you have to put things into contextual variations. For example, if someone just redeployed and is just getting to know the state better, will s/he automatically get a 'secondary' PPA to get additional income? Moreover, the cost of living is different in the 36 states of Nigeria. The welfare scheme of NYSC is what opponents latch on when they want to criticize it. Some people have so many expenses to pay especially feeding, rent and transport that even the 5k per week (which is what NGN19800 is) can be spent in a day. On the other hand, some are so lucky that they have accomodation etc subsidized for them, so it'd be unfair to throw a blanket assumption for all corpers. I'd have to say then that your comment is not in tune with the topic although corpers should seek means of self-sustenance and put their know-how into effective use during the service year. Whatever the case, as a FG 'pikin', they deserve to get their money as at when due whether they know how to save or not - it's their right! Whether some of them are better/worse managers of the funds, that's their individual business - karma has a way of taking care of everyone. |
And the WAR ends on cyberspace. At least, no one will e-die. Fake story So amazing how some people wanna become join-a-list instead of journalists. |
Tolu has gone AWOL! Hmmmm, when students pass/fail, something motivates them to post. Tolu, which way? |
Etisalat sef no waste time come release Nano sim. |
Nice collections. Some of us need to go back to the past so we know where we are coming from. May they read and learn before writing carelessly. |
Moses should've been brought in earlier to 'Drogbalize' the Arsenal defence. That Hazard boy - cool, but I remembered some 'stunts' Okocha used to make that didn't go down well with Nigerians. Didn't you just love that sight of Wenger rushing to throw the ball back into the field? ![]() |
Chelsea kickstarted Arsenal into their BEATINGS run!!! Hehehe #Unbeaten #CFC |
Giroud ?Gerrout!!!! hehehe |
