Chelsea has officially confirmed Raul' departure. He scored six goals including important long-range strikes in Di Matteo's first game in charge at Birmingham in an FA Cup replay, and at home to Benfica that sealed a Champions League quarter-final win when the team was under pressure.One can't easily forget this goal and the game itself was one where Chelsea put themselves under unnecessary pressure. Hope it doesn't happen on match day. One would easily mistaken Raul for an entertainer or the sorts - with so many tatoos, gosh! |

If mikel isn't valued, why is he taking place of essien and other top midfielders?What you shuold 've asked is how after JM left, about 4 coaches still patronize him. We should get used to the fact that he's changed from what he was under Siasia. If he wasn't adding value, he would 've been sold long ago. |

Some observations here - 1. I buy Aze's point 2. I also share in the tryna copy MTN's way too. 3. They know that we know that they know that non BB users use the BIS plan. 4. For our information or as a reminder, the social plan limits BB users to some social networking sites, BBM etc as explained here - http://www.africa.airtel.com/wps/wcm/connect/africaairtel/Nigeria/Phone_Services/Blackberry/BlackBerry+Complete/FAQs/ 5. Non-BB users using the BIS are of the opinion that subscribing to any of the contracts is a fair deal, at least, they ain't using cheats. 6. Correct me if am wrong, does anyone here using the Blackberry Complete plan (1,400) have the same issue with opera? Am not referring to BSM oh! Any one using BCM on an android etc If the answer is in the negative, then it's safe to assume they're keeping in line with their 'terms of service' for using BSM and BCM. My personal opinion is that the BSM is still much of an unfair deal for the reason Airtel gave for it being cheaper than BCM is to reduce costs. The % difference between NGN1,400 and NGN1,200 is 14% - just NGN200! |

lalaboi: Get your facts right. Their coach was suspended for allegations for what happened when he was siena manager. .Butter you do know that it's not all teams that can accomodate change in coaches or absent coaches (due to match suspension and the likes) like Chelsea.  |

lalaboi: Also heard a rumour about Essien moving to Arsenal. . .iDunno but it seems that injury Essien had then was a really bad spell for his Chelsea future. Benayoun doesn't seem to be in RDM's plans but he's on the team squad list. I saw Kalou playing for Lille at the UCL qualifiers - he looks fine there. Methinks Malouda may look handsome there too! |

iAgree with BlueDiva. Don't see Juve's comeback to the UCL as much of a threat - don't forget the number of draws they had last season. Their present unbeaten run has taken them to 24 victories and 16 draws. They are a 'never-giving-up' team and Andrea Pirlo . . . Whatever the case, na all those away game for that kain Shaktar dey always get comma sometimes if our boys no dey right frame of mind. Real Madrid's experience last UCL in Eastern Europe readily comes to mind. Goodluck to us. We've always survived anyways. Funny, we topped our group on the last matchday last season. Blue is true. |

How many of you are martial artists here? Well, I'd not wanna digress the thread from its sole purpose but this is one reason why iLike schools of thoughts. Some of the issues we have today is interpretation of cetain practices and how some schools try to equate it with bid'ah or haraam or whatever. Anyway, culture is the way of life of some people. This is one thing I really don't like about developers et al - they want a gradual phase out the Windows Mobile IMO so everyone moves over to Windows Phone. It's the same way whatsapp automatically disables you from using the app once there's a new update. Anyway, the Marketplace I've got is "OMarket". It's just like WMarketplace but WMarketplace was more 'pleasing' to the eye to use than this IMO. So iRetract my earlier post, Marketplace is dead for Windows Mobile. @1025 Sir, 1 Goals dey pass goals, we know 0 It doesn't mean RVP had a 'less better' season than the other 2 I wouldn't be surprised if Nandos tops the chart at the season-end and someone starts with "oh, he scored 60% penalties", "16 were tap-ins", "6 were controversial offsides" and the likes. 5 Performance evaluation considers several factors. Some just want to sha "utaka and ataka" a player for minute reasons or sometimes, silly reasons. I remember an analysis I saw which compared Torres vs Drogba's input to the eam last season but that may not really matter, Drogs scored when we needed him most.. If the likes of Mikel and Torres were not adding value to the team, they'd been 'malou-danu' (thrown) away from the team. Messrs Torres has exhibited an increase in confidence this season. iBet he's gonna perform well this season and silence his critics. May shall tell. |

iShare Wizeboy's view on prostrating. That was an argument I had sometime ago with a muslimah. These days sef gan, the prostrations have started 'elevating' of you know what I mean. We need to know the purposes of doing somethings and the intention it aims to achieve. Like I told the Muslimah, when I bow, I praise Allah, the reason why I'm doing this is known. I cannot however equate the bowing of the angels to Adam as bowing to their creator - subhanallah. It's just the way you'd want to say that lieing down flat on the ground to armed robbers (may Allah protect us) is showing respect - everyone 'd say it's under duress ehhich eventually leads me to THE REASON, the INTENTION! As for Alaga Iduro, it's up to you to have organised this before your wedding. The more enlightened the person is, the better for you and am saying this from experience. I personally get peeved with some of them's excesses - they go tell you make you even do 500 push-ups bla bla bla It's basically our state of mind and personal insecurtiies that lead us into a warped mind of our roles as husbands/wives. Men tend to abuse this 'submisiveness' to their 'advantages' while the vanities of this world tend to mislead women to as per when she's richer. Well, I'd just say 2 things for this - COMMUNICATION and RESPECT. |

Penkelemeesi. It's funny how we try to bring up excuses just to justify somethings. The difference between analysing and criticizing is that while the latter seeks to achieve a 100% perfection before there's no mundane point to churn out again, the former brings out the merits/demerits, achievements and flaws. The CBN Gov spoke diplomatically IMO - he 's not really convinced me. Whilst Central Banks ought to review these currencies half a decade, he didn't convince me entirely in this tete-a-tete. I however like his stance on the media - NL is an example of bigotry deductions from any Mr. Tomiwa, Dickson or Haruna's satement. ". . .at CBN we are forward- looking. Look, in the next few years, even when I must have left as governor, people will look back and realize this is a good policy. We are looking at not only currency management but also modernization. A time will come, in very near future, when we will be paying tolls, paying for newspaper vending, with just coins at vending machine points." - this statement smacks more of prophesy. Definitely, the Central Bank of any nation doesn't sing the "backward ever" anthem but this was what Soludo had in mind. As long as the coins have no value to the eyes of the average Nigerian, they'll not embrace it hence defeating the function of the currency as a store/measure of value. |
