Someone did recognize it on another thread - ochukoccna: Just how silly can our president get? |
ibdguy: and thank heavens it remembers that it is after all a phone and makes excellent calls.Your choice of words here got me laughing ![]() |
Slot Ltd IMO is an unserious besiness venture when it comes to e-commerce. I don't think they realize the huge potential their business could realize if they had a functioning, interactive and updated website. They seem happy with their one-on-one sales and telephone lines. |
Spent months waiting for all kinds of silly updates that were meant to transform the phone to something more meaningfull. After all the agony Microsoft anounces windows phone8 which has no compatibleility with WP7 which by the way had no compatibility with previous windows phones.
On point! This is where I've got issues with Microsoft. Microsoft makes major changes to their Mobile OS and announce it like it's something normal. The inability of users to upgrade to recent versions is a bad taste for consumers. Their differentiation of Windows Mobile and Windows Phone is an example. I enjoy WP (perhaps cos it's similar to Desktop PCs) but I gotta agreee with you that it's Android all the way for this - FLEXIBILITY + AVAILABILITY is key. This is the more reason why no matter how much I love the functions of a Nokia Lumia, the uncertainty of it becoming 'obsolescent' is not appealing. |
Yes it was but we currently do not have GSM operators providing this. Good response sha - they sure are cashing on Nigerians who are 'high-end' consumers and lovers of luxury goods. |
Considering what latter became of the subsidy struggle and all the terrible revelation of dirty issues in almost all the key sector, any reasonable Nigerian should know there where several selfish and political drummers behind the so call subsidy protest.......... Lets stop being sentimental when it comes to important issues.
What are you writing ![]() That only sponsors can 'terribly reveal' facts you call 'dirty issues' What are you getting at?In fact, if Nigerians really gave a damn, they'd reveal even muddy issues!!! The failure to hold public officials ACCOUNTABLE had (or has) led us to be accepting rubbish for a long time that the cruelty of the subsidy jolted the "what have we been doing" signal in them. I really think you should
stop being sentimental when it comes to important issues.
smh |
Burger01: Ok. The OP changed the topic. @OP why na? Make you tender apology..Yeah, my bad. No vex @RichDad jare. Thanks for pointing it out actually 'cos I forgot to include the 'driver' initially as stated in the original source. @topic Is someone telling me we don't know why we have security personnel doing what this guy does? Their presence is usually to serve as a 'password' to any 'login' enquiries by any other law enforcement officer on the road and to serve as a leeway to break traffic rules. Sometimes the presence of an officer in the name of espirit de corps leads to officers not even conducting searches on such vehicles. It's not about witch-hunting or warreva, it's more about those who WILLINGLY wanna break the law. |
That 2ng goal from Oscar. . .it's worthy of the Oscars. That dude can twist and turn, na Samba him dey dance for Brazil? |
We down in SE and SS not get that useless time.
Pardon me, may I ask, what were you using your USEFUL time to do? Praying at home for 'our' own? Watching the SW 'thugs' on with 3D TV glasses? iHiss Port-Harcourtly |
^^^ Appears she's looking for a t!t-for-tat' kinda thing. If your conscience is clear, why bother about what she thinks? Throw it to her on the table to state her REAL intentions. She doesn't have evidence, yet she's using that baselessness to attempt to cheat on you - how satisfying!!! Think you guys need to do some serious tete-a-tete and this is where I don't wanna appear chauvinistic but my brother, it's time you " Btw, you need an 'advice' - nairalanders have 'advised' above. #ExitNoNonsenseMode ![]() |
SEPTEMBER 20, 2012 BY SESAN OLUFOWOBISOURCE My initial reaction - There's nothing stopping this guy from trying this again when repair works are completed. Afterall, I've seen Okada guys riding one way on 3MB. #Commonsense |
The effect of not curbing joblessness in Nigeria. |
No People ask the OP via twitter but his response as at some few days ago was -ve. |
alkadriyar: Thanks for ur observations and good extracts. We shall set up a committee to look into this.iLaff in Otuokpe kingdom. Apt!!! |
noblezone: I read some of the posts in Nairaland and I get really concerned about my children and the kind of society I will leave behind for them.Ensure your children 'like' Social studies in primary school and Government in secondary school - at least, they 'll know the basic functions of govt, the history of Nigeria and their duties as citizens. When someone thinks provision of adequate power supply is enough achievement for any government as their actual duty, then you blame the knowledge gap. |
the blood makes the cake irritating.
Murderous cake. |
One could have easily discerned that this 'artistry' was the work of a woman. What a 'piece of cake'! Women ![]() |
@naptu2 the least the guy could realistically have done was to note their names. One has to be careful with snapping pictures as that phone could be willingly damaged to damage evidence(s). 'Discreetly' doing this would require tact and perhaps, patience which the incident would have prevented the guy from having in the 'craze-state-of-mind'. To record the conversation, ermmm, when something is unplanned that's not the first thing one thinks of and this depends on functions of his phone and ease of access to the recording program if available. boladez: 5. If we keep seeking knowledge and education and ensure voluntary compliance, LASTMA guys will be forced to respond positively. While it' necessary for every driver to know and observe traffic rules and regulations, you cannot say we should know this while LASTMA officials know little. One of their functions include enlightenment but #reality is when there's no sign to indicate that the road you're about to enter is one-way and when you enquire from the LASTMA official, they WILLINGLY tell you "not at all" until you commit the offence with their 'assistance' with a view to obtaining money from you. Their orientation has to change from witch-hunting or playing 'police and thief' to advocacy, elightenment, correction etc - this is where FRSC is better. There are always two sides to a coin - while the disrespectful Lagos driver may disobey a traffic law, we don't need to see a boxing scene just to book them and inform them of their crime. You and naptu2 have made valid points but bearing the peculiarity of this country, some are mere theories and even some of the practicals can be manipulated or denied (for real). If you know your right however, you'll stand by it. |
He chose the NBA gathering to state without any evidence that he's the most criticised president in the world (perhaps the world means this his village he likes to serve as reference point). He chose to not "give a damn"about declaration of his assets on NTA & Radio Nigeria (broadcasting to millions of Nigerians). He's reminding us of the effect of his cruel policy when Nigerians are currently suffering from fuel scarcity. He visited the Abuja stadium some days ago when the Eagles were training there and was displeased with the state of the stadium which can presently not host even inter-house sports' competition of a school - Mr President set up a committee to look into the bad state of the stadium. He ordered the honours committee to revoke awards given to recipients not deserving of the national awards just as he was presenting to another set of awardees. This same man last year said the criteria for choosing such people will be reviewed. He setup SURE-P then later said, the 'sure no too sure like that' again because Nigerians didn't 'allow' him to SURELY implement deregulation programme 100%. He blames BH for derailing the objectives of his government and bla bla bla This government is at best LAUGHABLE. This man should not even think about 2015 cos by that year, Nigerians woulda been under his leadership for nearly 6 years. As Nigerians are very religious people who usually don't practice what they preach, Smh |
“Take the case of Lagos, Lagos is the critical state in the nation’s economy, it controls about 53 per cent of the economy and all tribes are there. The demonstration in Lagos, people were given bottled water that people in my village don’t have access to, people were given expensive food that the ordinary people in Lagos cannot eat. So, even going to eat free alone attracts people. They go and hire the best musician to come and play and the best comedian to come and entertain; is that demonstration? Are you telling me that that is a demonstration from ordinary masses in Nigeria who want to communicate" ---o-------o----o----- Wo, this man is interested in seeing dead people (protest). Were the ones in Kano for example sponsored? His analysis is flawed - he's not even ashamed to tell the world that people in his village lack potable drinking water less talk of bottled water. The ordinary masses don't need to suffer and come out protesting without shoes or showing a National Poverty ID card before we can attest that they're poor. Moreover, you're meant to govern ALL Nigerians irrespective of their 'class'. If he even mentioned that those protests could have been hijacked, it doesn't still deviate from the fact that there were issues that affected Nigerian citizens on the burner. Our government has continuously demonstrated bad governance by not tolerating criticisms and diverting our attention always from the issue!!! It's the same way Abati came out insulting the same social media his employer used to announce his presidential bid this week 2 years ago. Shame Shame Shame Btw, Mr. President, which class do you belong to? |
^^^^ You have to delete some messages in your inbox so that new messages can come in. |
Yes. Dunno what their explanation is for the only thing they informed viewers of is the re-arrangement and renumbering of stations not deleting them. e.TV (South African) for example don waka pass. |
#EpicFail is #thatawkwardmonent when Tiwa is pounding yam but there's no yam in the mortar. |
