kpakpandoN:"28But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? 29Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. 30They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’" - Luke 14:28-30 What you dont know the value of, you'll misuse, abuse and disuse will be the last stop for such thing. Marriage, is no exception to this and so, is not really for every one. Our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world, Yahshua Ha Mashiah aka Jesus Christ, did not marry. Apostle Paul was not married. Jephthah's daughter did not marry (i.e. she dedicated her life to the service of God) "10... it is better not to marry.” 11But He said to them, “Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given." - Matthew 19:10b-11 Yes, in Genesis 2:18, it does say that, it is not good for mankind (i.e. human beings) to be alone, but note that Adam understood the importance of marriage, aside from love, companionship and relationship, that at Genesis 3:20, he named his wife, Eve, because she would be the mother of all the living (i.e. template) Don't contemplate marriage, if you have no understanding that in marriage, there's has to be three persons. Marriage, if its your portion, is just a training ground, on where to sharpen your unconditional love and relationship skills. Bottom line is that you need to have head start, know what exactly are you expecting to get from marriage and also what you are prepared to give in the marriage. |
delishpot:Ma'am you know me more than this, nothing flew past me as if nah low flying Naija Airforce MiG fighter jets raining the fright of Armageddon down on Boko Haram, we wish, but I dont need help, I merely was making a point that, as him, being a heterosexual, possibly "alpha" male, then, it would hit home closer, if he was caricatured to be abused by a randy male(s) without roping in his third persons female family members I didnt for a moment think you wished anything bad on his female family members, but tbh with you, it was the sexism tint that jumped out. |
delishpot:I don't see anyone quoted bible on this thread yet. Not my circus, not my monkeys. To each his own monkeys. I wasn't offended but I have re-watched the video, only to notice he said "please" at least once, but please tell me who is Jay Israel? Yahshua Ha Mashiah aka Jesus Christ, I know, and Apostle Paul I know, but who is Jay Israel? Who do you say, is Jay Israel sef? delishpot:The other sort of religious people (i.e. indulging in religion that isnt true, pure and that's religion God finds no flaw(s) or fault(s) in) truly are the worst set, to piss off. Yahshua Ha Mashiah aka Jesus Christ, drove them up the wall, they got angered and actually wanted, for real, see Him dead. delishpot:I am loving the weekend. We thank Abba for His loving, mercies, grace, goodness, faithfulness, blessings, kindness, steadfastness, thoughtfulness et cetera delishpot:"Awọn ọmọ a jisẹ ma'", loosely translated means, "ma' we don Fedex delivery send am, you go hear from una dem your pikin and/or miguard" |
delishpot:I was thinking what makes him think he has the right to repeat saying "wherever you are pray for me" without using please. Its just rude and comes of as someone with a narcissistic sense of entitlement Even in the west, those well home trained, will prefix request(s) with an, "ẹjọ" |
delishpot:Presumption(s) or how does one sound that shows one does not value much their/his/her body? delishpot:No, leave out the innocent women/females in his life, whatever arrangement should be for him and not them. delishpot:The reason for the "not as normal as male on female ones" is because the percentage of same attraction persons are relatively low when compared with opposite sex attraction persons, as low as 10% and decreasingly in most regions delishpot:"When Shechem son of Hamor the Hivite, the prince of the region, saw her, he took her and lay with her by force (i.e. he seized her and lay with her and humiliated her or he took her and lay with her, and violated her. or and he grabbed her and raped her.)" - Genesis 34:2 Rape of whichever kind should be treated harshly because it is a violation of another person's body. It is assault. It is forcibly having carnal knowledge without expressed and/or given consent No kind of rape, whether male on male or male on female and even vice versa, should be encouraged to fester or escalate. Weak people rape. Wicked people rape. Uninformed, unlearned, unknowledgeable people rape. Selfish people rape. Inhospitable people rape |

delishpot:Are you for real? He doesnt even know how to use please when saying "wherever you are pray for me" |
letu: Have a stab nah? No, there is no Greek philosophy and the Roman concepts there my mehn. What's your responses to the easy, peasy, lemon, squeezy, ten bitsy questions. |

tit:"In that day so few men will be left that seven women will fight for each man, saying, “Let us all marry you! We will provide our own food and clothing. Only let us take your name so we won’t be mocked as old maids." - Isaiah 4:1 It is already beginning to again happen BigBrother9ja: Haven't you got your own tit and what world of good would showing her tit do you, hmm? |

"43You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ and ‘Hate your enemy.’ 44But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous" - Matthew 5:43-45 "27This is what I say to all who will listen to Me: Love your enemies, and be good to everyone who hates you. 28Ask God to bless anyone who curses you, and pray for everyone who is cruel to you. " - Luke 6:27-28 "Bless those who persecute you. Bless and do not curse." - Romans 12:14 "Do not repay evil, with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing" - 1 Peter 3:9 |
costandi:You meant to type Matthew 10:8 and/or even Luke 10:9, but you mistakenly typed Matt 8:10 |
IamEmmanuell:"One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up (i.e. And He told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.) - Luke 18:1 "17Never stop praying. 18Whatever happens, give thanks, because it is God's will in Christ Jesus that you do this" - 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 "Pray in the Spirit? your [spirit." > in every situation. Use every kind of prayer and request there is. For the same reason be alert. Use every kind of effort and make every kind of request for all of God's people.] - Ephesians 6:18 God hasn't got a voicemail system. You probably weren't praying in the Spirit. Prayers would become amiss and go unanswered, defo, if you've prayed in isolation of praying in the spirit. This means you've possibly being doing self-indulgent prayers and not doing any of the "not My will, but Thine, be done" prayers Mind you, please don't slip on the "Praying in the spirit" banana skin, of thinking that "praying in the spirit" is as same as, the gift of speaking in tongues or praying in tongue. No they aren't. The "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels" from 1 Corinthians 13:1 and 1 Corinthians 14:14 remark about "For if I pray in a tongue" were used in the context of a postulation and have nothing to do with "praying in the spirit" Give me a list of your prayers not always answered on time and I will return the favour with listing your prayers always answered on time three times (e.g. for your 5 list, I'll give you 15 lists in return) Missyajoke: "14We are certain God will hear our prayers when we ask for what pleases Him. 15And if we know God listens, when we pray, we are sure our prayers have already been answered." - 1 John 5:14-15 |
sonmvayina:The Man in the original text actually says human beings, so the word MAN, in there, means human beings aka homo sapiens sonmvayina:I already aconcured with you when I said, though the “us” in Genesis 1:26's “let us make man," just as with "... become like one of us ..." verse, in Genesis 3:22 or "let us go down ..." in the Genesis 11:7 verse, is talking of the Godhead, but then we equally and unashamedly, could say that, in regards to particularly Genesis 1:26 alone, the “us”, is referring to God and the earth, taking cue from you pointing out that according to Genesis 1:24 it was “the earth” who brought forth all the land creatures, and you saying that, just as the earth brought forth the creatures, the earth too brought forth man, so yeah, as regards Genesis 1:26, then the “us”, is referring to God and the earth, However, going forward of Genesis 1:26, anywhere else, “us”, is seen, it is referring to God (i.e. the Godhead) exclusively, being that we know, that “us” is a pronoun, occasionally used by a speaker to refer to himself or herself, as the object of a verb or preposition. The Lord (i.e. Elohim), God, is one. Remember that Elohim is usually understood to be grammatically masculine singular, so meaning there is no plurality in the Godhead. Capisce? |
sonmvayina: sonmvayina:It is pretty obvious that, “us”, is referring to God (i.e. the Godhead) exclusively, being that we know, the word, “us” is a pronoun, occasionally used by a speaker to refer to himself or herself, (e.g. the Queen of England) as the object of a verb or preposition. The LORD, (i.e. Yahweh) our God (i.e. Elohim), the LORD (i.e. Yahweh) is one (i.e. Deuteronomy 6:4 or Mark 12:29). Remember that Elohim is usually understood to be grammatically masculine singular. |

sonmvayina:"I have discovered only this: God made human beings for righteousness, but they seek many alternatives. (i.e. Or, only see this: I have discovered that God made people upright, but they pursued many schemes. Or, I did learn one thing: We were completely honest when God created us, but now we have twisted minds Or, I have found only this: God made people decent, but they looked for many ways [to avoid being decent]. Or, This is all that I have learned: God made us plain and simple, but we have made ourselves very complicated)" - Ecclesiastes 7:29 sonmvayina:Though the “us” in Genesis 1:26's “let us make man" just as with "... become like one of us ..." in the Genesis 3:22 or "let us go down ..." in the Genesis 11:7, is talking of the Godhead, but then we equally and unashamedly, could say that, in regards to particularly Genesis 1:26 alone, the “us”, is referring to God and the earth, taking cue form you pointing out that according to Genesis 1:24 it was “the earth” who brought forth all the land creatures, lmso, and you saying that, just as the earth brought forth the creatures, the earth too brought forth man, lmso, so yeah, as regards Genesis 1:26, then the “us”, is referring to God and the earth, lmso. Now, it is pretty obvious that anywhere else, “us”, is seen, it is referring to God (i.e. the Godhead) exclusively, lmso, being that we know, “us” is a pronoun, occasionally used by a speaker to refer to himself or herself, as the object of a verb or preposition. How does one invoke curse?, lmso. |
