Christianity Etc › Re: Why Will God Sacrifice His Only Son When He Can Simply Do This?? by MuttleyLaff:
Maximus69:
What of your quest regarding Pharaoh and God?
Are you satisfied with our findings?
Blabbermouth:
Not really, just about 65%.
How did God use Pharaoh for his glory?
The writer said - He will have mercy on whom he will have mercy on, and he will harden those he will harden
MuttleyLaff: Are you busy thinking of how to wriggle your way out of the questions, hmm?
MuttleyLaff: What is "According to b" about?
MuttleyLaff: 1/ What according to you is "will"?
MuttleyLaff: 2/ How do you mean "will" isn't absolutely free?

MuttleyLaff: Good, so is this someone person always compelling you to make choice?

MuttleyLaff: You are stealing my definition, Try and be original nah, be more creative, create your own explanation of what "will" is

MuttleyLaff: "He was hardened by an higher force?" Now please explain to me in no uncertain terms, how exactly was Pharaoh hardened by an higher force.

MuttleyLaff: " I'm working with that definition?". Please don't make me laugh jor. You're working with the definition because you are making things up as we go along, always ready to change the appearance of the goal-post. You are inconsistent

MuttleyLaff: "Direct your Question to the hardener"? You are having a laugh and you know that. Look at you make a fleeting allegation and given the opportunity to back it up with cogent proof, you are slacking and shuffling feet

MuttleyLaff: Your position on freewill, for starters. You keep changing how you mean freewill is. I dont even know what your position is regarding freewill, which is why I havent pulled you up to get ready for the experiment

MuttleyLaff: "You speak as though there are established numbers of ways of hardening a man", you say and you forget, I gave you a golden opportunity to tell me how Pharaoh was hardened, but you threw the kind gesture right back in my face. Now you are playing a game of "You speak as though there are established numbers of ways of hardening a man".

OK in the Pharaoh case, how exactly, leaving no stone unturned was he hardened up. I do remember that he was given at least ten times, to allow the Israelites leave but he refused, through exercising his freewill

So you mean up till now the devil is not yet guilty of any wrong doing?? haba!! This your comment is not satisfactory at all.
Blabbermouth:
Mention 3 things he is guilty of.
MuttleyLaff:
To mention/list just three out of others, then albeit not in any particular order:
1/ Treachery
2/ Pride
3/ Covetousness
Blabbermouth:
You are breaking one into three... No problem.
What is the one that I have broken into three, then?

I have merely given you three out of the many sins of Satan. I am sure you know the meanings of: Treachery, Pride and Covetousness and of course, know how distinct from each other they are.

Blabbermouth:
You should accompany each points with a Bible verse.
1/ Treachery - has one out of the possible accompanying verses as Ezekiel 28:14 (i.e. betrayal)
2/ Pride - has one out of the possible accompanying verses as Ezekiel 28:17
3/ Covetousness - has one out of the possible accompanying verses as Isaiah 14:13-14 (i.e. archetype of Satan)

I only stole time for other things/ from others to quickly address you with the above. I will fully in due course reply to your other posts about Pharaoh's that was Harden, your contesting that A&E couldn't have changed anything or better still weren't capable or equipped enough to successfully and fully beyond the last hour, safely "weather the storm" and et cetera

He is right in correcting the false doctrines of the pastors that are against him ie oyedepo, Enenche etc.. Just the delivery is what he apologized about. You actually don't need to attend church because you are the church.
"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." Whether on the corner street, whether on the bus, whether online, whether on social media, whether in the cafeteria, whether when having work lunch break, whether when on a holiday cruise, whether et cetera, Amen to Matthew 18:20 ... He is there in the midst of them. Alleluia.

Honour2:
[s]I assume you are one of Freeze's followers, now you tell me where the Bible says because you are the church, you don't need to attend church. You better stop being a tool of the devil to lead young believers astray, see what God commands in scriptures is to not forsake the assembling of the brethren,so how do you come to your own conclusion that people don't need to go to church, when the owner of the body said we should not forsake the assembly of His people. In Psalms the Bible says they go from strength to strength, every one of them appears before God in Zion,(again Zion is a place of gathering of His people)how do you now come to this your conclusion.Yet quite a no of people would stop going to church because of these evil and erroneous teachings that you help freeze propagate, see God is not just a merciful,He is also a God of vengeance and Judgement towards His enemies,go and ask the enemies of the Israelites in the Bible,If you are propagating anything contrary to scriptures and leading others astray, you automatically became God's enemy and you are playing with fire. This God the Bible says is a consuming fire. I am not here to argue scriptures with you,I don't have that time,I have just laid out the truth before and can I tell you something,if you don't away from this disastrous path, this that I have spoken to you today will stand as an evidence against you that you were warned. God bless as you amend your ways before Him[/s]

Those people didn't have any culture there in the caves where they originated. They all stole from Yoruba tradition.

MuttleyLaff:
Oh, oh, your brain hasnt reset to factory default set yet. Abi?

Where are those your enthusiastic and vocal supporters to come read what you've written and give you a warm back slap well done son, good job son pat on the back, eh?

Of course, chukwu is your god. You, your shameless racist self and your ukwu god, would bow down in the presence of Jesus

You are a jumped-up wannabe, who right from the start had no legs to stand on with. You cant even spell correctly the name of your god. At least four times, it is you spelled it Chuwku. Smh, what do you think is going on there, eh, lol? Its Freudian slip dingbat. Why dont you go back and return after you've learnt how to properly spell your chukwu and not incorrectly four times spell it as chuwku. Can you imagine the dingbat misspelt the name of his god. No reverence, no respect, no honour, no attention to detail, well I am not surprised, it a dumb god and its dumb ignorant idol worshipper frosbel\2. It is because of careless people like you, that is one of the reasons, why God never revealed His personal name to anyone

I have told you earlier what chukwu really means and that it actually means ukwu god. Now here's an opportunity for you frosbel\2, to get educated, by me, freely from the goodness of my heart, on Igbo spirituality you ungrateful ignorant donkey, lol. Yes, let the opportunity present itself to you because I know that you never knew what I am about to share with you before. I know you never had any knowledge about this before now because your original post, the intro with the many misspelling of chuwku instead of chukwu, had aside the misspellings, wrong facts you typed that betrayed how feeble, inadequate and lack in depth you are. Take for example chukwu is not, never from the beginning was chukwu ever chineke, lol. Chineke quite alright, has you put it, is "God who creates" because according to Ndigbo mythtology, chineke, which means "chi" and "eke", lol hence chineke when the two Igbo words are combined, means "Creator" or "reason for the being", (i.e. eke god => god that creates)

Now the transition, upgrade and transformation of chukwu to an equal status and standing as chineke, only happened after Ndigbo have been Christianized, lol. Go ask your village elders frosbel\2 about this, lol, they'll even confirm that "chi," from where "chukwu" was formed from, indeed, is personal god, lol. They'll tell you and confirm all this. Listen man, I am saving you from yourself. You see, pikin wey no gree receive home training for hause, na for outside wey hin reach where public go teach am. This is your case, lol

I havent even scratched the tip of this whole matter, talkless touch the massive rest submerged body and you are doing "... bring out facts, evidence etcetera" If I should pull my hands out of the pocket, you will faint and collapse out of shame and embarrassment of your shortcoming.

At the level you’re at, you're a blind man, lol and the thing is you can't show light to a blind man, lol. Here's another thing to know about yourself frosbel\2 and that is a blind man can never see, he never can see how good you look, lol.

Hmm, go pick up "Things Fall Apart" just like I already had earlier advised you to, lol. Its not much, but it'll at least fill a little bit of your deficiency and knowledge gap of Ndigbo spirituality. Use it to brush up on chukwu too with, mister olodo-rapata-upon-twenty angry angry angry
MuttleyLaff:
Yorubas, by means of singular or conglomerate of verb(s), form names from a word or portmanteau, that describes a state, action or occurrence of the thing referred to. Fridge(s), in Yoruba parlance, is/are called "Ẹrọ amunu tutu or Ẹrọ-amunu-tutu" It is a portmanteau word formulated from translating "machine with a technology which gets the belly/stomach cold," that is what "Ẹrọ amunu tutu or Ẹrọ-amunu-tutu" means, as far as Yorubas are concerned, whenever object are taken from the fridge, eaten or drunk, it ends up making the stomach/belly cold

The English word, God, represents, a kaleidoscope of many meanings, but "OLODUMARE", in Yoruba parlance, is the name assigned to God, and it will interest enquiry minds, to know that "OLODUMARE" is a portmanteau word, formed from putting together, coming from an observation viewpoint, words that describes what this enigmatic and very powerful Supreme Being is.

The other alternate form names of "OLODUMARE" are: "Edumare" and "ElÈdumare"

"OLODUMARE" is also known as "ỌLỌRUN" In Yoruba parlance, "ỌLỌRUN" is another portmanteau word, which means "Owner of the heavens or sky expanse" or "Owner of the firmament" "OLO, ỌLỌ, OL' or ELÈ or EL'" means Owner, while "ỌRUN" means "the heavens or sky expanse" hence "ỌLỌ-RUN"

Cycling back to the portmanteau word "OLODUMARE" name of God, in Yoruba manner of speaking, the name is derived from the following words:
1/ "OLO" - means, Owner,
2/ "ODU" - means, mystery, mystical attributes, a thing or being that is mysterious. It also means energy
3/ "MA" - means, knows
4/ "RE" - actually is "ire" and means, blessing

So when, the words, OLO, ODU, MA and RE, are joined together, we have "OLODUMARE" revealing a profound and thoughtful deep meaning that indicates the truth and/or existence of an Energy, Supreme Spirit Being, who is not just the Owner of unique energy but also is in possession of mystery/mystical knowledge of all manners of blessing.

Since God is the highest level of energy. It is from this energy, that everything is created. In fact, Odu, directs all forces at all level of existence, hence, it is this same mystery and/or energy, that's the power behind the creation of all living and non-living things.

One of the most important of the mystical attributes of God is volition. Without volition, there is no God, and there won't be forces, natural laws, rules and/or principles

Profoundly observing, God has always being EL and this is evident in the Yoruba variant name of God, "ELÈdumare" The prefix EL, as previously intimated, means, Owner, an Influential Owner (e.g. Elijah is: My God, is Yahweh/YHWH, Elihu is: My God, is He, or Ọlọrunfẹmi is: God, loves me)

I dare say Yoruba beliefs and mythos is very rich. As I've earlier advanced, Chukwu, in Igbo cosmos, is a product formed from two Igbo words "chi" and "ukwu", that computes to mean big god or great god. Chukwu, in the real sense of it, isn't Yahweh, the God in the Bible but simply is a god, that now, so as to pretend, is taken to be YHWH or Yahweh, the God in the Bible

The Igbos, and the Yorubas, just as like the Men of Athens, inadvertently, just and unknowingly could, in their general consensus in the existence of a single creator, lol, be worshipping the true God (i.e. Acts 17:23-31)

Now, the thing is, God wants, us having a relationship with Him, and not having a relationshit with god(s) You cannot practice consulting the dead, practice ancestor worship or practice spiritism and be a follower of the one and only true God (i.e. Deuteronomy 18:10-13)

Christianity Etc › Re: Can Someone Die Before His/her Time? by MuttleyLaff:
beauty7:
I am asking this question because I use to hear that everyone has a destiny.

So if someone dies,it really means that her/his time to die has come.

But some people are of the reasoning that if someone dies young or through

accident, such a person has died before her/his time.

I read some near death experiences and discovered that most of the experiencers

seem to believe that their deceased relatives whom they met in the great beyond

actually died according to their destinies irrespective of whether they died young or

old, irrespective of whether they died a horrible death or not.

The deceased relatives were in a state of joy, peace and unmeasurable happiness.

But it seems to be that in some religion, dying young or dying a horrible death is

attributed to devil's work. The contents of this reasoning include the belief that the

person must have been a sinner to suffer such death, that the person has gone to hell, etc.

So I need some thing clarification on this.

Please reply if you can.
"16And the LORD God commanded him, “You may eat freely from every tree of the garden,
17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”
"
- Genesis 2:16-17

From the moment we are born, our mortality (i.e. the state of being subject to death) clock starts to tick down.

The Hebrew words "muth, muth", used in Genesis 2:17 above, which often as equally seen above, is usually translated as "surely die" or literally, as "you will certainly die" but actually, in a Hebraic manner of speaking, it correctly, indicates the beginning of dying. It in fact, conveys a meaning of and gives, a sense of the entering of death (i.e. a sense of gradual or slow death starting), hence why and how, it is, we die by the second, we are in fact, slowly dying. It will interest you to know that, one million cells in your body, die every second. That means in one day, approximately 1.2 kg of cells in your body dies.

Let me shock you with something unusual you won't get to readily hear from the bullpiss pulpit. Forget Methuselah and 969 years. Why he had to live that long, is a story on its self, for another day, another topic heading, just know that, ideally, man really isn't meant to live past circa 30 years old. The thing is, it is not the the number of years you live that matters, but it is the number of lives you impact with the number of years you've lived, that matters. Yahshua Ha Mashiach, lived 331/2 years, go figure

"The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away,
and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil
"
- Isaiah 57:1

OR

"The righteous perishes, And no man takes it to heart;
Merciful men are taken away, While no one considers
That the righteous is taken away from evil.
"
- Isaiah 57:1

People die, when the Owner of breath, in His infinite wisdom, decides it is time, He wants His breath back.

They Locked God Outside The Iron Curtain
- by Little Jimmy Dickens

"There's a land where little children cannot play
And the people have forgotten how to pray
It's a land where faith and friendship should be tried
But an Iron Curtain keeps the Lord outside
They locked God outside the Iron Curtain
On old Satan they have placed the kingly crown
But this evil nation, will never find salvation
Till the Lord tears the Iron Curtain down
It's a nation full of hate and full of fear
Where a man must whisper so no one will hear
And all those who dare object, have quickly died
While an Iron Curtain keeps the Lord outside
They locked God outside the Iron Curtain
On old Satan they have placed the kingly crown
But this evil nation, will never find salvation
Till the Lord tears the Iron Curtain down
They have tried to chop away the rugged cross
But someday the Lord will show them who is Boss
He will count the faithful standing at His side
And in judgment He will lock the rest outside

They locked God outside the Iron Curtain
On old Satan they have placed the kingly crown
But Heaven's great power, will name the fatal hour
When the Lord tears the Iron Curtain down
"

Daddyfreeze Advised Paul enenche to stop boasting of earthly achievements and focus on being christ like. That this same pastor insults president buhari from thier pulpits even though buhari is an elder. He frowned at such hypocrisy.

He also wondered why the pastors cannot give a superior scripturally based argument but resort to emotional responses on his person.
He further wondered why they feel they have the monopoly of revelation and interpretation of the Bible. He further said that he will continue to correct bad church doctrines coming from the pulpit from church leaders be it elders or not but this time around with love and respect.

Disposing Satan, just like that, isn't solving any original situational problem and so wouldn't be pseudo-saving anybody/anyone any stress.

About why will God sacrifice His only Son when He can simply do this? If A&E, or particularly Adam, have seen through the last hour and passed the test in flying colors, then the need of God having to offer a sacrifice, that will cost Him Himself, wouldn't have in the first place arise, but as it happened that A&E fell from grace to grass, then the needful, a huge and costly prize, for their transgression of God's explicitly stated law, had to be paid for.

Christianity will be boring without all these confusion and intricacies so I think that's why the writers of the Bible made it confusing.
There is nothing confusing in the entirety or whole of the Bible.

ggirl4real:
God knew that the devil will betray Him, yet he created the devil and included him In His cabinet.

The devil became proud and decided to challenge God, God could have destroyed the devil, but No, he allowed him.

Today Christians have to cast and bind the devil all their lives when God can simply destroy the devil to make the Christian life easy for Christians but No, He will not do that.

Abeg OP, I don tire for religious mata.
No true born, kofam, real McCoy believer gets tired of religion, that is true, pure, and the sort of religion, that God finds no flaw or fault in.

Blabbermouth:
These are problems caused because people believe the myth that "God knows the future"

Sweetheart, God didn't foreknow that Lucifer will fall

God Will not just Kill Lucifer. He himself (I mean God) claimed he was and still is "Just". Should a just Judge/God execute a spirit without a fair and proper judgment? No! That is why we have a "judgement day"..
Until that day, Satan lives on.
Why are you mentioning me, but then you go back to editing your post and also removing the mention and comment you made relating to it, hmm?

Everyone is in a queue, I respond to posts/comments when they get at front. It doesnt mean, I won't be responding or I am ignoring, it's just that, I most times, am doing catching up or letting some jump the queue.

Fyi, if you had during our chatroom interaction session, given me a detailed explanation how God Harden Pharaoh's heart, you wouldn't be contesting with ggirl4real, that God never knew that the devil will betray Him, yet He created the devil and included him In His cabinet. You see your life now, hmm?

I have never stopped, saying that, every creativity/creation, has a fundamental right to come into existence, and not just that, but exist to freely express itself/himself/herself. The devil, Pharaoh, Hitler, Genghis Khan, Constantine, Abacha, IBB et cetera each and all have the right to exist and express themselves according to how their nature dictates or allows them

God, the Omni-Know-Everything, Omni-Know-All, Omni-Know-What's-In-Your-Heart, Omni-Know-All-Moves, was aware, knew before the day it will happen that the devil will misbehave, just the same way, He knew Pharaoh would go bad, even arrogate himself to be god, a deity.

IF TITHE AND OFFERING IS THE PROBLEM! STOP PAYING!

I am appalled by the recent enormous attack on churches and pastors. Mostly by people who probably have never paid tithe or may have not given to churches in recent years. They jump on the wagon and irrationally begin to vituperate on matters they have no clue about.

People dont have food, water, electricity and no jobs, they ignore their governors, senators and FG and spend time discussing pastors and judging them on how they spend money. Politicians still your tax with brazen audacity and you do nothing. You are not a member of the churches you attack online, the pastors have never invited you, his members have not come to complain to you before, yet, you complain more than those who give in church.

My conclusion is that you are insanely frustrated and looking for where to poor it. Most Christians are on tin line between unbelief and atheism. If tithe and Offering is your problem, stop paying and serve God with all your heart and serve God truly. Focus on doing personal ministry as you ate led by God.

Jesus commanded you and I to preach the gospel and save SOULS. Can you boast of consciously preaching to anyone this year and leading them to Christ, follow up the person and ensure the person matures to become a disciple? I bet you haven't, in your myopic mind, the only people Jesus commanded to do the work is pastors. Yet, when we ask for true believers you raise your hand. Note, Go ye into the world is a command to all of us. Not a suggestion. What is stoping you from going? Stop hiding behind your keyboards to vent your frustration on pastors.

Pastors are not the reason Nigeria is not working. American pastors have more mega churches, some pastors in America have airstrip in their houses. America is working. The people face their government because they pay tax to the government. In church people wilfully give. Your frustration is that mega churches have money and are spending the money. You forgot that these churches did not become mega in 2020. These were churches started in the back side of town in the 1980s. These men, prayed, laboured, toiled, were disappointed and at some point felt like giving up. At that time, starting a church, pastors were seen as non entities. 35 years later, that little vision has grown by virtue of diligence and hard work. You throw away those years of them paying the price and type rubbish on social media. Focusing your attention on tithe and Offering.

Have you forgotten that millions of churches like them started and didn't last up to five years. Some lasted but the pastors are so indebted that they can't pay their children school fees. Not everyone will succeed in same way. I pay my tithe, give Offerings and you are more frustrated than me who is giving and not complaining. Is it your money? Have I come to beg you before? Are you normal. Pastors are not your problem or the reason for Nigeria's lack of development. You drive a good car, how come you drive a good car and there are family members yours that are trekking. There are widows and orphans in your neighbourhood. You shouldn't drive a good car. Sell it and trek to work. Give all you make to support every poor person in your family and neighbourhood. That's the kind of life you want pastors to leave and you will be happy...You won't sell your car because it makes life convenient for your work, for your family and social status. Pastors also buy these jets because it makes ministry easy for them. Some of them may need to be in 4 countries in a week preaching. Imagine queuing up in every airport and jumping connecting flights.

A jet is to a mega pastor what your mercedes is to you. It's about convenience and tool for ease of work. Get that into your head and work hard. Pray that God will bless your hustle. Learn to mind your business...

.If you feel some pastors are mismanaging their church fund, pray for them in love. God is the ultimate judge. He will test everyone's work at the end. I am not the chief registrar of heaven to know which pastors is eating church money or not. I have my own sins, that's my concern not pastors.

A prophet can have the right and authority To pronounce judgement on a ruler By the virtue of his calling .

Take clue , from Moses , Elijah , Elisha, john The Baptist and Prophet Jesus Christ .

Yet when Elisha was mocked by youth He commanded Beast to eat them up.
I keep telling you petra1, we have gone past the era of the law and the prophets. The curtain closed on that era of the law and the prophets, when Moses and Elijah appeared in a vision to Yahshua Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration, with the disciples Peter, James and John witnessing the vision. The Gospel heralded in a superior, stronger, better era more powerful than what was operated under the era of the law and the prophets. Ekklesia (i.e. the church) has been blessed with every believer having equal access to the manifested extraordinary spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, increased faith, the gifts of healing, the gift of miracles, prophecy, the discernment of spirits, diverse kinds of tongues, interpretation of tongues. Every believer potentially is a prophet/prophetess.

Now, since you brought up Elisha and the teenager young me, I adjure you do a full exegete and hermeneutic on "when Elisha was mocked by youth He commanded Beast to eat them up" please, so things be brought out in and be seen in their full perspective. Thank you.

President, Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has responded to apology offered to the founder of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, by popular On-Air Presenter, Daddy Freeze, over a two-year-old video clip.

Daddy Freeze took to his social media pages on Saturday night, to upload a video of him saying he was sorry of insulting the cleric and promised to cut out the confrontational way of addressing faith-based issues.

Reacting, Apostle Suleman, on Tweeter, warned Freeze to desist from insulting men of God, saying he did video against him too sometimes ago but he had to forgive him. He said Freeze can criticize but should not insult men of God.

In his words:

Matthew 3:7
"But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism,
he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
"

That is John the Baptist calling the Pharisees and Sadducees generation of vipers, that was an insult to their person, remember these were set of people comprising of elders.
Now, did John the Baptist ever apologize for the insult?
I don't think so!

I'm not saying that our pastors are Pharisees or Sadducees of course they belong to the faith too. But just like the Pharisees and Sadducees our pastors are mere humans who also make mistakes in their teachings too, so if anyone deem it fit to correct these pastors that should be done ...
"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward,
but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
"
- Matthew 23:27

"1“Shout with the voice of a trumpet blast.
Shout aloud! Don’t be timid. Tell my people Israela of their sins!
2Yet they act so pious! They come to the Temple every day and seem delighted to learn all about me.
They act like a righteous nation that would never abandon the laws of its God.
They ask me to take action on their behalf, pretending they want to be near me.

Yahshua Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ' in Matthew 23:27 above, is seen, just like his cousin, John the Baptist, tongue lashing and raining insults on scribes, Pharisees (i.e. Far-To-See) teachers and religious leaders, who were much older and senior to Him, even calling some of them, older, if not age mates of Joseph, His earthly father, names so nothing new under the sun here, about dishing out insults

They are running their churches 100% better than the way the president is running the country.

The fact is many Nigerians are loosing it. They can’t think beyond going after pastors.

In what way has pastors prevented Nigeria from owning an airline

In what way do pastors prevent Nigeria from having industries

Less than 0.0001% of pastors own Jets in Nigeria. —-but no, let us forget the over 70% that earn less than 50k/month and focus on the 0.0001% than own jets.

If you run your governments the way church leaders are running churches. Nigeria might be a Qatar right now. In all these argument Canaanland has had stable electricity and water supply for its over 15,000 residents since 1999 and is already on the verge of converting waste to electricity. RCCG is producing 25MW of electricity. Yet your … govt you pay compulsory tax, vat, CIT, Pet Tax has not been able to give you light decades after independence.

Living Faith has more than 25,000 Staff and has never owed any of them salary! Yet your state govt that collects Allocation plus Tax cannot pay full salary.

Living Faith, a single Church, is schooling 16 thousand of your Citizens in Higher institutions and many more at primary and Secondary levels yet you think you have the capacity to waggle your tongue

I went for Shiloh all through and stayed in the staff quarters, yet it was electricity all through; for one second, water did not go off in spite of thousands that were present. On a normal day you won’t walk 20 metres before you find a segregated bin to dispose your waste.

The entire area was fully covered by different layers of Security with multiple CCTV and IoT enabled barrier gates. And yet your Abuja, capital of the Nation does not have CCTV yet you open your …. mouth to talk down on pastors!

Between the guy that calls himself Area father and Bishop David Oyedepo Ministries International who resigned a federal job and started a Church of 3 people and has widened it to over 6,000 churches globally, over 200 schools, 2 hospitals, Over 1000 hectares farm for livestock and crop, Another farm in Igbesa and CU. With 15,000 housing Estate in progress, Water factories, Zeolite factory, One Research center, a scholarship fund, Beverage factories, 10 million books, Publishing house, Radio Station etc who has had more impact or who will have better capacity to govern the nation…huh??

Canaanland hosts hundreds of thousands of people every week yet no stampede ever. Government gathered people at stadium for recruitment exercise and before it even began, many were dead!

Living Faith already has a master plan till 2032 yet govt does not have a plan for 2020!

You know Illogicality is the trademark of most Africans. They fail to think beyond their prejudices and sentiments hence Africa has remained on the ground.

Can we imagine how developed the nation would have been if we have people with the right mindset at the helm of the nation’s affairs? God bless all our pastors.

It is unscriptural to insult or rebuke ministers of God. A new generation seem to be ingnorant of principles of the scripture and the consequences of violating them which carry curses
Every believer, in his/her own right is a minister of the Gospel and at large, a minister of God. It is very scriptural to rebuke, call some one names, insult, criticise, express sharp and cutting disapproval of someone badly behaving and someone's bad behaviour/actions/words

petra1:
Psalms 105:15
"Touch not mine anointed,
and do my prophets no harm.
Psalms 105:15, is talking of real prophets. Talking of God sent prophets, talking of God appointed prophets, talking of prophets God knew before they were conceived in their mother's womb and born.

Psalms 105:15, is not talking of self-styled prophets, is not talking of self-arrogated prophets, is not talking of charlatan prophets

petra1:
Sometimes in this forum I Have heard some ignorant people say that the verse above is for all Isreal and not men of God. If you think so You must have gotten your Theology upside down. Firstly is the whole of Isreal anointed. Is the whole of Isreal prophets? That verse was making Reference to Patriacts and prophets Abraham and Isaac Before whom God rebuked Kings for touching their wives .

Psalms 105:14-15
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong:
yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed,
and do my prophets no harm.

Genesis 26:11
11 And (KING)Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.

That explanation should be enough for he wise.

God anointed 3 offices in the Bible days . The king ,The priest and The prophet. God gave instructions to have respect for such. And by That we have no right to insult such men

Exodus 22:28
28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.

Remember that this rulers were ministers anointed by God “priest and prophets

The same way today God has annointed ministers over Gods people .

What if a minister do wrong ? That still doesn’t give us the right to curse or insult them. A minister can only be rebuke by God or someone higher than him but not a surbodinate. I will give you 3 instances In scripture .

MOSES
He was the man by who the law came, yet he was the first to brake the law of intermarriage . He married an Ethiopian woman when the wife left him. Aaron and Miriam who were surbodiates Spoke against Moses for his wrong .

Numbers 12:1
1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

God judged them instantly read the rest of the story. Miriam became leprous on this account.
You just like Benbellamor rightfully observed about you, are again, keep quoting out of context. You are again here again, busy quoting out context, trying very hard, to perfect the art of proof-texting

petra1, fyi, if you had read Exodus chapter 4 contextually, it would have put your theology and things generally in their proper perspective

"1Then Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because of the Cushite woman he had married, for he had taken a Cushite wife.
2“Does the LORD speak only through Moses?” they said. “Does He not also speak through us?” And the LORD heard this
"
- Numbers 12:1-2

It's from the exposure of Zipporah, being a pastor/priest's one of seven daughters (i.e. the daughter of Reuel/Jethro/Hobab, the priest and prince of Midian) and that her privy to the knowledge of the details of the Bridegroom, obtained likely from divining, as a result of past interacts with Moses, that made her have the understanding, revelation of who the Bridegroom of blood is, have the know how and capability to carry the circumcision of their first son in Moshe aka Moses' absence.

Now, here is the important thing about Numbers 12:1-2 petra1, this scripture which you've put a spin on, actually in the real sense, is informing us that, Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because of wife, the Cushite woman, an outsider. Zipporah is an archetype, a typical example of the Gentiles, who 2000 years will be grafted into the fold based on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This was a coded language of what was going to happen in the future

Also Miriam and Aaron were jealous of the Bridegroom revelation Zipporah received (i.e. Numbers 12:2), and why it wasn't them, Miriam and Aaron, that had it first.

The shepherdess in Song of Solomon 1:5-6 is not a naturally black skinned person. She actually is an Israelite, just like the other womenfolk. She is a person of the Levant origin or from the Mediterranean Sea region

The shepherdess in Song of Solomon Solomon 1:5-6, a bonafide and confirmed Israelite, had to apologise to the women, for turning dark and/or for becoming darker than her other fellow light olive-skinned/light reddish brown skinned/light yellow or golden skinned Israelite womenfolk.

Yes, they, Miriam and Aaron, weren't aware that they were given a glimpse of what the future would be or look like and so they unconsciously were fighting and/or kicking against it.

"And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian."
- Genesis 25:20

"And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife."
- Genesis 16:3

You forgot how, Ishmael, Abraham's first son, was born and that, it is how the Arabs, the Arab race came about (i.e. from the sexual liaison of father Abraham, a Semite and Hagar, an Egyptian)

God as you can see from Genesis 25:20 and Genesis 16:3 above, has no problem with interracial relationship(s), inasmuch as if it doesnt create any conflict of interest(s) with Him, as the centre of focus, attraction and devotion

Joseph had an interracial marriage. He married an Egyptian. Now the thing is Asenath, would have had racial characteristics very similar to that of Hagar, who before her, was given to Abraham by his wife Sarah, and so how Ishmael, Abraham's first son was born and how the Arab race (i.e. the sexual liaison of Abraham, a Semite, with Hagar, an Egyptian) came about.

Moshe aka Moses had an interracial marriage. He married Zipporah, a Midianite. Miriam because of her jealousy and ignorance spitefully called Zipporah a Cushite, an Ethiopian woman (i.e. Numbers 12:1-2), of this, Zipporah obviously really isn't. She is a dark skinned woman, but defo wasn't a Cushite, an Ethiopian woman.

Contrary to your eisegesis, Moshe aka Moses did not wantonly first to break any the law of intermarriage. He was never married to an Ethiopian woman. His wife never left him. I have explained the background, why and how Miriam mischievously referred Zipporah to be an Ethiopian

petra1:
Same things goes for the sons of Korah and elders who stood against Moses for having too much authority claiming that “they are all anointed“

Numbers 16:3
3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

DAVID AND SAUL
It was evident that Saul was a backsliden King. Even though David had been chose to take over he would not violate scripture principle despite the Fact that Saul wanted to kill him. He had had numerous opportunities to kill Saul but wouldn’t do it because of the anointing upon Saul as head. Especially when his servant Abishai asked David permission to kill Saul

1 Samuel 26:9
9 And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD's anointed, and be guiltless?

PAUL
Paul once had an incident where the Highpriest ordered him to be slapped. He insulted the highpriest without knowing he was high priest. But when his attention was brought to it, he apologized .

Acts 23:2-5
2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth. 3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? 4 And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest? 5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.

These days we have people especially on this Forum insulting ministers. It is error which carry curses. If a minister did wrong against the law let the law handle the matter, if it’s against God, let God handle the matter. But stop putting your mouth especially in things that’ you may even be wrong about in your own limited understanding
All you did with the above quoted verses was to with them individually concoct a hodgepodge of eisegesis mixing together and moving from one preconceived idea to another preconceived idea. Jumping from "the sons of Korah and elders who stood against Moses" a constituted authority, to king in waiting David, not, rightly thinking, want the blood of a yesterday king Saul, on his hands or conscience, to Apostle Paul retracting wishing evil of being struck dead upon the high priest Ananias. All those verses you proof-texted, have nothing to do with expressing a sharp verbal disapproval or criticism of someone because of their bad behaviour or for their behaving badly action(s)

How can one curse, whom God has not cursed? Or, how shall one defy, whom the God has not defied, hmm?

petra1, here is my free refresher Bible 101 lesson and fyi for you, there is something called the "boomerang repercussion" effect. Now, listen and re-learn this real good, which is that, you never wish for someone what you wouldn't wish yourself, and that is because of this same thing known as the "boomerang repercussion" effect. Dont ever, say it is an error, which carries a curse, because whatever is initiated, so shall it boomerang back to the sender.

Time is not a best ally, if it were, I gladly would have delved into an "... the law and the prophets ..." exegete and hermeneutic, and share how the least in the kingdom is greater than John the Baptist, yet of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist, the prophet.

Deborah98:
Well written and analysed.. Whatever crime one does and to whomever it is done against has the right to punish such offender, take for Instance in a class,a child is given an assignment to do and he doesn't do it,who will punish the child? The teacher of course, whatever pastors do,say or act we don't have any right to throw tantrums at them instead we should be mindful that we didn't call them rather God and He owns the imperial power to deal with anybody who profanes Him name.... Righteousness89 what do you have to say about this...
You have have been taken in by all that smokes and mirrors, when God has given you power, love and sound mind so to have you make good judgment such that you shouldn't and wouldn't have to let anyone pull the wool over your eyes.
