Howdy bro... I think you can do the roof first

Thanks. But my challenge is that roof money is not available yet and may take some time to gather for roof. What I have now (money and materials) can only cater for flooring. Also I have done the plumbing work inside the ground.

Did you, Cast your soak away ?
GIVE ME THE BREAK DOWN OF THE --"2 soak away pits"
total information on the size of the soak away
Digging -- labor
setting the block for the soak away or Casting
plastering of the soak away
Number of iron and price
wood

The size of the soak away pit is 10ft deep and 12 x 6 in Length and breadth. I can not categorically say this is what I spent on block setting as it was done with the normal job of sitting the building blocks. As a matter of fact, it collapsed as a result of not back filling it and yet storing water in it.

Please where is this place located in ilorin ?. Secondly, I would like to ask if building a 4 bedroom bungalow is advisable near a kwara state polytechnic is advisable or not ?. Thanks.

This is around ajegunle/bayii Egbejila side. For the advice of situating a 4 bedroom around Kwara poly area, the choice is up to you based on your taste and preferences.

It prevents cracks in public use floors
it is used to strengthen the floor to receive the load of the super-structure (8mm mesh and above)
It prevents the floor from breaking in weak soil eg Waterlogged soil and RAFT foundation.

If your building is a residential ON GOOD / SOILD soil and normal strip foundation - you don't need it.
thanks...

Thanks baba. Na you biko

I would have love to use granite but my pocket is lean.

Those are practically all that is required. You may wish to add DPC membrane (thick nylon) depending on the kind of soil/land that you have plus wire mesh to further it.

Good luck

Labour wants 70,000 for paraset.
Carpenter wants 70,000
Welder wants 70,000.
Omo onile wants 150,000 before we start roofing
The street association wants 10,000 for foundation and 70,000 for light.
Site is Iju after winners.
Frustrating!!
