okiro owing money is his personal business, haba we should know when to draw the lines,it is not public money here we are talking about so whats our own?let him and the bank sort themselves out,he didnt rob the bank he took a loan for christsake
I'm sure he got the loan because of his job. Wouldn't you rather give a police thief chief a loan instead of other honest ordinary people?

MKO might have stolen money from ITT but he gave more than that away. All you myopic mongrels saying he shouldn't be immortalised have forgotten that Kings from your villages gave him traditional titles mostly for things he did for them long before he ever nursed a presidential ambition.
Whether he wanted to become president for selfish reasons will never be known but I do know that most of you trash-talking tramps saying he does not deserve to be immortalised had one or both parents vote for him and most of your fathers are not half the man he was. . .even now. It is ok to think he shouldn't be highly rated but to now run him down? Thats slime! He may not deserve being immortalised but the date does!
To those who recognise his sacrifice as genuine, may you easily overthrow your enemies.

@all, before I choose who to help with my shipment from the US I really want to know how long it takes a ship to sail from Maryland US to Nigeria. I need to work with a time frame. Thanks y'all!
Politics › Re: Amaechi To Build $150m Mega Hospital In Port Harcourt by MUZBO(m): 8:24am On Jul 21, 2009
lysaa:
just assume that has been considered before carrying out such a huge project. The fact that one project is failing in expectation doesn't mean another wouldn't work. Thats what change is all about.

Amaechi has been doing a good work so far so lets expect the reality of this beyond the pages of the papers to a place on ground where we can refer the sick and infirm to instead of abroad.
Assume he has taken care of power supply? Ofcourse he has plans to procure 'mega' generators for this hospital and then the cost of running and maintaining it will sky-rocket out of reach of ordinary people who should benefit.
Every governor can do what he feels will help his people but none will work well without constant electricity.
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is This Man Called Tudor? by MUZBO(m): 9:09pm On Jul 20, 2009
@Tudor, you seem to display a more conscious disbelief of theism unlike those other irreligious rogues here on NL that seem to just tag along for want of something to say. Do you think this is a result of your 'christian based education' or you are just the AGGRESSIVE type. I'll go for the former!

Another Tinapa-like project in the making. When will these JUNK-YARD BUREAUCRATS realise that there can be no true development without constant power supply.
Romance › Re: How To You Still Let Go Of Someone After Doing Everything Possible? by MUZBO(m): 11:27am On Jul 19, 2009
I know your problem and its not just thinking about your ex, its thinking about your ex with someone else- probably a former rival. Its gonna drive you crazy but it aint your fault. Talk to your Dr. about anti-anxiety meds. Once you are calm then you can focus your undivided attention to some new hobby. . . trust me, within a short period you'll think how could you have fallen in love with your ex in the first place sef!
Don't let others suffer because you r still fixed on your ex.

My candid advise: play your part normally and be prepared to make very very big sacrifices during her NYSC but the good thing is that the pressure would be now her in that period. . .just keep getting the ball into her court always.

Tudor sucks!. . .but that aiight. I only read his posts because he is intelligent- and thats all that matters to me. I'll rather talk to an intelligent atheist than those dumb fast-typing wishy-washy pastors on NL.

Ibime:
Some people need to let go of tribal sensitivities. . . .Debosky and other progressive minded peeps are not selling out, rather buying-in to the idea of resorce control and regional autonomy. Raj Fashola and the Govt of Lagos is seen as a beacon of hope for the future stability of Nigeria under regional autonomy and fiscal federalism. I troway salute to Sir Fashola for his work in seeking fiscal and bureacratic independence from the Nigerian State.

However, no longer will the mega-cities of Nigeria be a getaway from the problems of the hinterland. When the war reach your domot, you will be forced to buck one way or another. Politicians in Lagos and Yorubaland now have a decision to make - pressure the Fed Govt to acquiesce to the demands of the Niger-Delta (resource control), or join the Federal Govt to oppose the demands of the Niger-Delta. There is no neutrality where injustice is being meted out, especially in your own country where you have a say in the political process. You are either with it, or against.
Well put but grossly myopic. Don't get mad yet, just read: Are you saying if I want you on my side I should put a bomb at your gate and kill a guard so as to force you to my side? Naaahh. The people of Lagos already support the cause so what else does MEND want- for Gov Fash to buy arms for them?
Politics › Re: Fashola Warns Mend by MUZBO(m): 3:26pm On Jul 16, 2009
nuzo:
Thats the problem with nigerians. . . . they will never try to talk in order settle issues amicably.
What settlement do you want after you came blabbing with your 1st post that Lagosians are the enemy.
nuzo:
Having said that, I dare any nigerian to attack my people unfairly and see what will come out of it.
See this PUNK ASS SCRUB saying unfairly! Was the MEND attack on Lagos fair? And pls what will come out of it? You think we give a Bleep if you are an arms dealer in China? Better brace up!
nuzo:
Trust me, the system is very hot right now.
Yeah, the heat is on 'your people' now. See how you felt it from Shanghai!
Politics › Re: Fashola Warns Mend by MUZBO(m): 1:31pm On Jul 16, 2009

MEND already regard anybody eating off their oil as enemy.

@topic

Instead of threatening what he cannot conquer, I will advise him to have a talk with them.
Enough of this media talks to assuage Lagosians.
Whats this one saying? When a major civil unrest starts now you'll start running around saying you were attacked unfairly. The people of lagos will resist any senseless attacks in the guise of emancipation.
Yar'adumb is in Abuja pondering which of the points on his 7 point agenda to start first- let MEND go there and give him a heads up.
Fashola should never negotiate with any terrorist disguised as an emancipator.

I have heard of a psychological angle to it. Also, from the one person I have heard complain about this- there seems to be an association with Anxiety Neurosis. . .though we can't say which one caused the other.

Politics › Re: Call For Establishment Of Nigerian Marine Force by MUZBO(m): 1:50pm On Jul 14, 2009
Even if establishing a marine corp as an autonomous dept is hard due to funding and politics, making it function well as an offshoot of the navy shouldn't be.
I don't know too much about Nigerian paratroopers but the airborne division of the US army functions very well. Check the famous 101st airborne division.
Also keep in mind that even in the US, the marines and navy were once locked in conflict of jurisdiction. Even the USAir force is skeptical about the marines and navy owning fighter jets because it makes them less relevant. All these are issues an organised country with a tested and trusted judiciary can handle. . .Nigeria is not organised and our judiciary sucks! But it don't mean we can't pull it off, we just need to put somethings in place first.
