Though we know that GUS is stage-managed but one of my friends used to say: oo le se ju opòlo è lò meaning : you no fit do pass wetin your brain allow you. GUS to me is mainly about endurance and the male will always be superior under natural conditions. If na brain too, males will think faster than females on the field under natural conditions because they would most likely have spent more time on the field than females. Girls don't crucify me yet, . . .wha tha heck- y'all can go ahead but make sure you also crucify the US Navy SEALs for not allowing females to join. No be beans o!
Anyway, if it will make anyone happy, a female will win one day, but thats when all contestants are females or they'd pay the guys to loose or. . .(I rest for now)
Politics › Re: Dangote Is Now Stock Exchange President by MUZBO(m): 2:57pm On Aug 07, 2009
Whether Dangote deserves the post or not means little to me. I actually don't give a rat's as$ who the president is. All I know is if he was complicit in manipulating AP shares then he shouldn't even be a board member. . .FORGET SOME bribed-as$ed MONGRELS absorbing him of wrong doings(WE ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS!). If Nigeria had real honorable leaders he should've resigned anyway.

chidichris:
he is the type of pretender nigeria needs because we have decided to go backward instead of forward.
Name 3 politicians that do not pretend and I'll show you a polar bear in the Arabian desert.
chidichris:
this kind of man that allowed the likes of bode george, borrishade, andy uba, tony annenih and other national criminals to flourish while making noise about state governors who were against his boss.
I'm sick and tired of guys like you who identify problems without proffering solutions. Ok Ribadu wasn't good but what is figure-head Mrs Wazero achieving?
chidichris:
can any of u pro-ribadu group say it out that corruption during the obj administration was on the low compared to before his administration.
CORRUPTION DURING THE OBJ ADMINISTRATION WAS ON THE LOW COMPARED TO BEFORE HIS ADMINISTRATION. There!! I said it loud so SUE ME but please use Mrs Wazero's EFCC. I'll be free in a week.
chidichris:
nigerian leaders are doomed and are dark minded persons hence another ribadu madness to help us achieve our backward madness.
Would you please leave your suite @ the Burg Al-arab and come and contest for president!
chidichris:
let one of you tell us that security, roads, power supply, educational system, electorial system under ribadu was a good news because of his efforts.
I will tell you once you can confirm he was the minister of these sectors you mentioned.
His juridiction is catching corrupt people not buying transformers!!!

I don't give a rat's a$s which tribe is superior. If we are to go through history, as a Yoruba boy I'll stand on my '3' feet and feel proud. And like babapupa and okoko I'll also come out smoking when my tribe is criticised so to them I'll give the thumbs up for defending the Yorubas.
The issue now is the future of Nigeria. There can be no future if some people are still grieving over £20. Thats history! Haba una no dey tire?If it isn't ethnic crisis, its religious. Will there ever be complete ethnic harmony? The answer is NO BUT we can set our sights on reconciliation. Now can there be reconciliation when someone comes to a public forum, starts a thread, is the first to post on his thread without hiding his ethnic bias. The person I blame is the DUMB MODERATORS that didn't lock the thread or even allowed it front page status(y'all can ban me, I don't give a rat's a$s!) when it clearly after the first few posts showed it had malicious intent.
The summary is: the starter of this thread is Homo sapien, but the first respondent to the thread is a punk tribalistic hobo that is a disgrace to himself and his family! Some of us want real progress so don't slow us down!

Health › Re: Imagine A Doctor As Nafdac Dg by MUZBO(m): 4:23pm On Aug 02, 2009
@ikennahill, most of the things I would have said in response to your post has been handled by @reindeer. All those allergations of A Dr killing someone and nurses getting sacked is at the most baseless though not unheard of. Something you should know is that round the world, the Dr is the leader of the health team and thus all responsibilities fall on him including nursing of the patient. The pressure is so much as the Dr always has to be on top of his game. Most nurses don't like taking orders from Drs esp young Drs and they grumble here and there, yet if something goes wrong the Dr is in trouble. My point is that this megalomaniac attitude you think Drs are showing comes with the pressure of the job knowing he has to be prepared to lead when it comes to any patient. The lab scientist just sees blood and reports his results, he doesn't know the patient has 5 kids, one with a heart condition, and has just lost his job. But the Dr knows this and has to tailor his treatment aptly.
I'm sure Drs wouldn't sabotage other health workers' pay package. They only want the division of labour to be efficient. Wasn't Iyabo Obj Bello a commissioner of health in Ogun state sometime ago? I heard she is a Vet Dr though I never confirmed.
There's politics involved in all these but Drs only protest when their rights are being violated.

You are confused.did she say shes  forced or talked into going for Medicine?
Am I? She said she's 'settling' for medicine. Maybe that word means little to you but to me there's that defeatist attitude buttressed by the fact that she said she 'doesn't want to spend 10years in college'.
Maybe you can't see the soul of an expression but I can. Come to think of it, if that is a talent for me then why am I not working for the police or some intelligence outfit?
@oyinda take note.lol
muzbo what do u mean by this? i'm interpreting it to mean "do what u love best not necessarily what you're better at"
what if u love something but ur not good at it and vice versa?
Exactly! Thats what I'm saying. Lemme elaborate: most of us have lots of talent. A single guy may be good with soccer, basketball, chess, public speaking and he may also be good with calculations. So which one of these talents should he choose? If he speaks to me I'll encourage him to choose the one he enjoys doing the most not the one he's better @ because passion is what will drive your career to new heights not talent.

chiogo:
Yes, my parents pressure me when it comes to academics and things in general.

Growing up, I always wanted to be a lawyer - I probably still do 'cause I argue more than is healthy for me  cheesy

For some reason, my mother doesn't like Lawyers. It's a dangerous profession, according to her  undecided

Now I'm settling for medicine , not a problem though. Just don't wanna be in college for 10 yrs. sheesh!!
If you think because you can argue you'd make a good lawyer then I'd say thats wishful thinking. Also if you are choosing medicine because your mum hates law then that could be a big error on your path.
These are courses that should be chosen based on passion, passion that would reflect from your adolescent years like studying the human physiology and watching medical drama and law drama for medicine and law respectively. Once you are sure of what you want to become then the duration of the course would mean little to you.
Choosing a career based on talent sucks and this where parents come in to highlight the things you are good at, giving you the pros and cons of each and watching you make your decision. Not making one for you.

I remember back in secondary school when some punk save-AIT-money hunting scrubs came to beg us to contribute to save AIT, thank God I shuned them.
Politics › Re: Senate Orders Yaradua To Sack Lukman by MUZBO(m): 4:42pm On Aug 01, 2009
vigasimple:
It was gathered that the Northern Senators Forum(NSF), which spearheaded the clearance of Lukman as a minister, also agreed with senators from the South South that the minister should be removed.

This where the south has a problem. We have 6 geo political zone. with the south having 3 and the north having 3, the south operate independently, south south, south east and south west.

Did you guy notice that the North always operate as if they are only 1 geo political zone,as in  Northern Region.

That is exactly why the North is able to dominate the South in Everything including Oil that they don't produce.

Finance Minister - North
National Planning- North
CBN Governor- North
Petroleum- North
FCT- North

They then gave Minister of states  in all those ministries to the South to make it look as if they are doing something.  Until the South have a way of working together, it will be THINGS FALL APART , THE CENTRE CANNOT HOLD. and the North will continue to make us second class.
Honestly, I couldn't agree more. Northeners cooperate while southerners just want to be isolated with their south-south, south-west, south-east rubbish. Is it that there are more ethnic groups in the south than the north? Anybody?. . .

Kids, when your parents are putting pressure on you, run away. . .but make sure you run to a responsible uncle or aunt who would negotiate a less stressful comeback for you. Then you'd live with your parents happily ever after.
