There are several conspiracy theories that have shared better predictions on Covid -19. Even some pastors like Oyakhilome are teaching such conspiracies.

I asked if God revealed it to you. I asked because it is a major phenomenon that shook the whole world. Yet it wasn't revealed to God's special children? Some of whom have now met their untimely death in the hands of Covid?

The bible tells us in so many instances whenever such plagues would happen, God reveals it to his prophets/friends and even gives them the chance to plead on behalf of the people in order to avert it.

I'm just wondering why this isn't the case in a generation that boasts of walking in the prophetic, dining with Jesus, etc.

Work of Salvation was never through Gentile. What you will see through the scripture is

Abraham to Israel to Jesus. Rejection of Israel was only defined in God's work and plan of salvation, hence they were rejected in that work and Jesus had to fulfill what Israel refused to fulfill (The covenant). Israel was not rejected in receiving salvation as salvation is for all and that include the gentiles too. Israel wasn't rejected for gentile Sir. Israel themselves rejected the salvation provided for them.

You must know how to separate issues in the scriptures. You are mixing alot together.

Gentile doesn't even have a play in the work of Salvation. They only benefitted from it. Israel is to have a play, a responsibility in God's plan of salvation which they rejected and Jesus was the one who filled same that Israel rejected .

So, Abraham played his part, Israel is to fulfill that which Abraham set ahead but Israel failed, Jesus came and fulfilled the same. That is the rejection of Israel to make Jesus the chosen.
No Gentiles in this at all. Bible called gentiles godless.

Now what Jesus fulfilled is available for both Jews and Gentiles, so Israel is not rejected from receiving salvation. I have explained this to you earlier when you were speaking about covenants.

I've completed the Bible once or twice, the Synoptic gospels even more times.

You will only see the inconsistencies in the Bible if you ever study it from a non-religious perspective.

Anything done in the name of religion is done blindly and absent sense because you're not allowed to question the so called word of God no matter how ludicrous it is, across religions. Muslims and Jews likewise believe their divine books are perfect just like Christians do and cannot be questioned.

Just as a Christian can easily pick the errors in the Quran, that's exactly how the Bible's inaccuracies and inconsistencies abound.

To be Chriat-Like foremost means to show and express love. To do the work of the Father (to preach the gospel of repentance. To believe and have faith in the Father. When you see those who contradict, misinterpret or do not have a clear understanding of the Word..... you politely explain better for them. Don't get self into unnecessary discussions( religiously) that practically does not bring edification to yourself to the hearers. Do not be converged with the crowd(Always know when to leave the crowd and get a quiet time with the Father). Be able to meditate/intercede for others to the Father. Appreciate good things but be not be conformed lustly to the things of the world. Desire the gift(s) of the Holy Spirit. Obey the Word of the Father in it's entirety and keep His commands promptly. Preach the Word wherever you find yourself as the opportunity presents itself. Study and meditate on His Word to show yourself approved. Maintain a good relationship as an individual with the Father.

I too was initially taken back by govt outright ban on bitcoin/cryptocurrency. The sole reason bring it has helped the masses especially the youth generate income in a country where most opportunities have been frustrated by FG and other factors.

However from Economist perspective, Bitcoin/Crypto being virtual money is not helping the real sector of the economy. Most people are pulling out their finances from the real sector and investing in the higher income generating virtual sector.

The effects of this being but not limited to;
-decline in productivity in the real sector- Agriculture, Real Estate, Industry, Banking, etc.

-Further decline in our GDP

-inflation due to excess funds being injected into the economy without control.

-Increase in cost of goods and services as a result of the excess supply of money against shortage in production of goods and services.

The Jews were born saved according to God's covenant with Abraham. Just by virtue of being a Jew they were saved. Except occasionally when God chose to punlish them.

The Apostles were saved without any faith or prayer just simply submission. If you read your Bible there were so many instances Christ admonished them for their lack of faith.

Also the woman with the issue of blood only had faith, no prayer, no submission.

The Samaritan woman had faith, after experiencing Jesus' prophetic gift, no prayer no submission.

Jeremiah was saved without having anything to do with it. Just because God had preordained it to be so. Jeremiah 1:5

So like always say, unless you pick your bible to read yourself and not just swallow hook, line and sinker all your pastor teaches you, you'll keep thinking you understand the Bible when you don't.

When we still have not forgiven, our sins will also not be forgiven and these sins will become obstacles to our prayer.

To get that your prayer request answered, I advise you today, to take sometime, prepare your mind and forgive from deep down your heart. No matter how painful it is, we must forgive. I believe the harder or more painful it is to forgive, the more blessed we will be if we do. To be sure you have forgiven that person, pray for him/her, ask God to bless him/her. I personally believe the power of God is released upon us anytime we forgive.

When you do this, engage in prayer (Worship and praise), and fasting if you can or pray as you are led. Ask God to forgive you too as you present your request to God.

We should know that, the prayer 'die by fire' is a demonstration of unforgiveness and unbelief,unless we are directing it to the principalities and powers of darkness, then we must know that they don't die, we can only cast them out, destroy their works or alters... Jesus never commanded them to die, instead He commanded them to leave and never come back. He cast them out.

It might help you to know that God doesn't want to be understood. The moment you think you understand God he changes his strategy.

Other Religions:

Even in Christianity you can lose your salvation by lack of good works.
So at the end of the day Salvation is by good works in all religions.

I simply said just the way JW concentrate on Evangelism, Pentecostal also concentrate on Prophecy.

Meaning if you're saying it's evangelism that identifies a Christian, then a Pentecostal could likewise say it is Prophecy.

However Christ and the 11 apostles say it is Love and Righteousness while Apostle Paul says it is Love and Faith that distinguish a Christian.

The purpose of this thread however is to prove this claim because most Christians this days don't have Love or Righteousness or Faith.

Cos most Christians have been taught that according to Paul all you have to do is have Faith in God through Jesus and you're saved.

Christians these days believe there's no need to be righteous since believing in Jesus already made the righteous before God. Hence corruption is even more multiplied among Christians than other religions.

A Christian believes as long as he has confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour, no matter what he does, he is saved and heaven-bound.

This is probably the greatest problem of Christianity and the world at large.

That verse is a verse of spiritual growth not salvation from sin. Not a verse of going to heaven. But a verse to walk in the spirit, to renew mind and obedience

Observe also that Paul has earlier spoken of this in chapter 1 before the chapter 2 of Philippians

Philippians 1:6
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

If you have read the whole philippians together you would have seen this. That is why I said you need to start reading through and through.


You will see same consistency in all Paul's writings.

So the working out is to produce the good works which God has already done in you and he still same working to help you show this forth.

Like I said, it's you who isn't comprehending what you're reading.

Philippians 2:12 says work out your salavatiin, yes.
Phillipians 2:13 says it us God who will determine both your willingness to work out your salvation and also your ability to do it.

Clearly vs 13 proves it is all God's doing.

Have you not read that while Esau was yet unborn God already hated him and loved Jacob? Malachi 1:2-3, Romans 9:13

Did you not read in the Bible how God hardens people's hearts according to his desire? And how he himself prepares others for his use?

Until you read the Bible with an open mind, you will "choose" not to see these things.

If you believe we do all things by God's grace why then say man's work is what determines his eternity. You need to stay on one, you can't do Babel in this. It's either grace or its not. You can't have a mix.

You claim man's choice is what determines his salvation according to the scriptures you shared.

I also simply shared scriptures which show that it is not man's choice but God's choice that determines man's salvation.

Well, that makes you one of very few Christians who do that. Cos Christians mostly pray to God through Jesus Christ with No mention of YHWH at all.

However back to the topic, saying Muslims and Christians don't worship the same God is just the same as saying Jews and Christians don't worship thevsame God just because of choice of the prophet.

Jews believe Moses to be their Prophet from God.

Christians believe Jesus to be their Prophets from God. However the Jews rejected Him cos he equated himself to God which God Himself had already instructed them to avoid and even stone such person to death.

Muslims believ Mohammed to be their Prophet who also shares .out if the same stories with Jews and Christians except just like the Jews he also believes no man/prophet should be equated to God.

Bible study is the whole bible not a verse. At least the verses you quoted read the whole chapter, the whole book, the whole testament.

If you don't read all of the scriptures or read the whole discussion you will end up misrepresenting the bible.

So, firstly read through those places you quoted, I mean the whole chapter. And observe Roman 8 you quoted the discussion started from Roman 7 so read it together. Don't lift.


Philippians you quoted, by just simply reading next verse your interpretation will fall apart.

So, always pay attention to reading the whole thought of the writer.

My challenge with you is you are already closed minded. While that is a good religious trait , it also blinds you to any new understanding.
