Everyday people talk about starting another war without remembering that war is hell. Thank God for the War Journalist who helps us remember. One such a Journalist is the Frenchman Gilles Caron who first saw war as a French soldier in Algeria and hated it so much that he stopped fighting and spent the last 4 months of his Military service in French chains.

He then went on to fashion photography which he found boring and returned to the front this time without a gun but with a camera and has given us some of the most thought provoking photos from various conflicts including our own Biafra.

My favourite ( if we can call it that ) is this one of wounded Biafran soldiers being left by their mates as the battle turns and the Federals advance.,

Just as you see the back of the fleeing Biafrans you can take inventory of the fright and horror of the surviving wounded soldier in his eyes pleading with the remaining troops ( Caron included ) not to be left behind to a certain death.

Instances like this made Gilles Caron drink heavily and you sure can’t blame him because I would be shooting heroin just to be able to go to sleep.

So as you rattle your swords and gnash your teeth crying for war…remember this side and that the young man on the ground is someone’s son, brother or even a Father. Worse still he may never get to be a Father.

Good day Bosses...

Please I need your Urgent help and Advice.

I was at my Kennel 3 Days ago and my 4 Month Old Rottweiler could not eat anything instead she was Vomitting and Passing out Blood from her Anus, before the Arrival of the Vet, The Dog has given up.

Just Yesterday, The Vet came around and he Vaccinated all the Dogs but we lost another Boarboel puppy with the same Problem the First Rot had.

Just this Morning again, I lost another Puppy Boarboel and a 5 Month old Rot Vomitting and Blood from the Anus again.

Please am Afraid and Discouraged, I don't know whats happening..

Someone said it might just be Parvo, Please who has experience this Issue before, Kindly put me through on what to do so this Issue won't happen again, The Vet can't help.

This was exactly wat I said in my first post, that seems like he has used diabolical ways to hold the people to his grasp.

But like u mentioned also, that the people of osun state have got low morale due to hunger, isn't it suppose to be a Hungry man is an Angry man?
They are are supos to be angry and show their anger collectively and be in union with each other. If they can do all that I'm so sure other states will suport them.
One thing I know about nigerians is that, no matter our differences, wen it comes to such matter we are unified.

Protest will affect him if and when the state is flooded with people seated on the roads with no vehicular activity allowed to take place, with no sitting at the state house of assembly. Then he either does something or might have to face being impeached.

OSOGBO—As striking workers and pensioners continue to protest non-payment of salaries in Osun State, another civil servant, simply identified as Tunde, yesterday collapsed and died at government secretariat in Osogbo.
Tunde, who was a night watchman with Osun State government was said to have died following his inability to buy food and drugs due to non payment of his salary for seven months.
The night watchman attached to the Auditor-general’s Office was said to be on night duty when he collapsed and died at his duty post.
Reports said that the man who hailed from Modakeke may have died due to his failure to take his usual drugs for the management of an undisclosed illness. The incident drew the attention of staff of Auditor-General’s office where the man worked but all efforts to rescue him proved abortive.
It took the effort of men of Nigeria Police Force and Civil Defence Corps to evacuate the corpse with hundreds of sympathizers on hand.
A similar case was also reported on Wednesday when a middle-aged man died owing to lack of money to purchase drugs.
Speaking on the development, the Secretary of the Trade Union Congress in Osun State, Mrs. Tola Nosegbe, urged well-meaning Nigerians to join Christian Association of Nigeria and churches in giving aids to workers in the state to save them from untimely death.
Mrs. Nosegbe maintained that government had not been transparent in its approach to the non-payment of workers salaries, saying government should explain how it spent its allocation from January this year to date.
Workers and pensioners in Osun State have not been paid in the past seven months.
PDP seeks NEMA’s assistance
Meantime, the Osun state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said the plight of workers in the state required intervention by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.
The PDP though commended the decision of the state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, to donate food stuffs to the state civil servants whose salaries have not been paid for seven months, said the situation required National and International Agencies attention.
Govt sensitive to welfare of workers – Aregbesola
But the Governor Rauf Aregbesola has said that his administration remains sensitive to the welfare of Osun workers.
Aregbesola described the present financial situation of state that has made the state government unable to pay workers’ salary as disheartening and painful, saying however that no one can suggest or establish a single instance of recklessness on the part of his government.

I've been reading the bible back to back, and I came across this passage:
I Corinthians 7:36 "But if any man think that he behaves himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let them do what he will, he sins not: let them marry."

Now, my interpretation of this passage is: as long as you are up to the age of 18, a man can sleep with his girl BUT he must marry her after he must have slept with her...This means the bible supports fornication. I've read so many other versions of the same passage, and it's even more revealing and straight to the point than KJV

history.

“As a party and given the circumstances of our
present politics, the APC stands no risk of being
eroded by this treachery. Rather, we see the clear
road to enforce discipline in the treacherous conduct of some members of the National Assembly.

“We see the need for the party to wield the big stick
now to send a message home that treachery will not
profit those who might want to cash in on similar
circumstances to spite the party and cash personal
benefits in the long run. It is certain that these
betrayers are not members of the APC and we feel
the party must weigh in now and discipline these

Buhari had already retired from politics.

The worst that could happen to the north was to wait till 2019 and get the power back from GEJ on the platform of PDP.
That would have spelt doom for Yorubas and brightened the chance of an ibo presidency.

Tinubu outsmarted the SS/SE to forestall that scenario.

Remember, Yorubas ditched the zoning arrangement and backed GEJ to emerge both as acting and substantive president against the north's interest.

‎Femi Gbajabiamila may have tasted the bitter Pill he fed the PDP in 2011.

As Leader of the then ACN Femi did all the ground work that led subversion of the will of the then PDP  and the emergence of Tambuwal al as speaker by a wide  margin of 250 to 90.

Tambuwal Was Made Speaker By House Members Not PDP – Gbajabiamilla 

The Nigerian House of Representatives Minority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, has dismissed the Peoples Democratic Party’s demand that the Speaker of the House, Aminu Tambuwal, who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday should do the needful, saying it is a threat that bears no consequence on the speaker.


 
Mr Gbajabiamila stressed that the Speaker was elected by the members of the House across all the political parties and not just the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members.

But for Mr Gbajabiamila, the demand by PDP is an empty threat that the speaker is not expected to obey, since he, Tambuwal had not enjoyed the support of the PDP right from the day he was picked as the speaker in deviance to PDP’s choice of candidate.
