OP: Marrying early has many benefits but in Nigeria of today as a guy if you don't have support (financially or otherwise) and you venture into marriage early, you may fail. Except you two are both naive and very much ready to grow with each other, but most Nigerian girls of nowadays will frustrate you

People are always quick to blame men when any marriage/relationship fails but they forget that things like this can cause serious problems.
Some Nigerian girls are in the habit of doing what this OP wrote here. I must say that any man who allows this, will end up dying before his time. And unfortunately, the said woman will take anything left of the home to start another home with another man.
While women keep saying men are scum, most of them should look at themselves critically, some of them (women) are worse than a plaque and Any man who wants to live long must avoid this set of girls.

OP: From experience, some women will try to block you from giving money to your mom. I suggest, you only tell her that you gave your mom money. Don't, I repeat don't give money to your wife to give your mom cause 2 things will happen. 1) When the value of that money reduces and you want to add more money, your wife will strongly oppose it. 2) Your wife may not be giving your mother the money. The other day in the news, several stranded Nigerians, owing to expiry of documents were lamenting their plights abroad; this will, henceforth, definitely go some way in relieving people who find themselves in such condition.

However, it'd serve more useful purpose if the temporariness is extended up to 90 days.

I wish our leaders could continue to think in such positive direction, even if they'll continue to amass to nation's fortune they've ignobly signed up for.

As innovative as this may sound, unfortunately, if this Temporary electronic passport still requires one going to the Nigerian high commission anywhere abroad, then it is of no use!
