finally, agbada don hook wire no offense leyla but i expect this will happen, not bcuz i know ur hubby and his ways but i know u from this forum and u always have negative things to say about nigerian men; i knew it wont be too long before we start hearing stories like this. all i can tell u right now is hard luck, may God heal ur broken heart and put common sense back to ur hubby but u too must learn that negativity will begat negativity.

Thank you for the level headed comments. To answer some of the questions my Husband and I have been together for 4 years, been through a lot of bad times but then not everything goes smooth.  I'm not Nigerian i am from Libya my Husband is Nigerian, i have always had a lot of respect for him and we have never had this problem of cheating before now.  It may be that i have a big belly or that i look like a balloon, but appearance isn't the most important thing in life. At least i am fortunate enough to be healthy and carry a baby.
I forgave him the first time as i wanted to give him the chance to do better, but now it has happened again there is no chance i will have him as my Husband he ashamed me, my Family and shows no respect for me at all!!
I'm not a weak woman i run a business 6 days a week and look after my horses in the evening, yet still manage to run the house and have good times.  There is no excuse for my Husband to cheat except that he is a fool! The moment he thought about being with another women, he turned his back on me and the baby.  He's no Man in my book.
I know no-body is perfect in life and we all make mistakes but most of us learn from them, except for him.  I can maybe forgive him in time but i can never be his wife, he broke his vows and the only person he should ask forgiveness is God, not me.
At the moment i am just trying to keep my head up high and keep going, i don't care for another man my focus will be my child.  Sorry i could go on more, better stop.

I really don't think I am at least I try not to be. It's not as if they just hand me stacks of money to be flashy with. I live in their house and eat their food and sometimes they send me on errands with their car but it's not like we're the kind of family that is flashy or that people in our area know our business because we're so ostentatious. Maybe unknowingly it comes across like that, but if anything I go out of my way not to be flashy. I never talk about my family to anyone I'm not close friends with and I avoid talking about my background. I wasn't raised tobe boastful about the things we've been blessed with as if I were entitled to them or something and I don't think I'm flashy in my appearance. For example my phone is very old school (as in the olden days indestructable nokia 3330) and people at work even tease me about it.

dont get discourage, it is not just guys, girls do the same. i cant just begin to tell u hw many times they ask me for money after the usual, "how u dey?" greeting. it is frustrating for me to call 9ja just for that reason alone, they all seem to always have one project or the other or something they want u to help them buy, it gets very tiring

Yes Na2day, the ones that I know are still stuck with their husbands/lovers supporting them financially and emotionally, encouraging them that things will improve. None that I know of has walked out on their men based on the excuse of poverty (poverty being relative here). But wait till the man gets back to his feet. The woman will be kicked to the cab.
