Travel / Concluding Part Of My Air Peace Review by naija2(f): 9:53pm On Nov 03, 2019
Sorry for the delay as I needed a much needed rest from the experience I had with air peace.
After making passengers wait on ground for hours and giving us snack of pop corn, very small croissant (that even a kid would not be ok with), a box of 50 naira chi exotic drink and a very small bottle of water. This was not enough as passengers decided to go out and get their own food for the night. This incurred more charges on the passengers because food wasn’t that cheep at the airport. We that had no cash on us because we felt we would be on the plane at that time and would have gotten a meal we’re left to swallow our spit and have an Unrequired fasting period. A little while later, a young man came to us to tell us that our luggages had been transferred to another plane and they have to take the plane away and bring in another one and we should hold on a little while later( We all knew that was a lie). After saying his bit, the young man left us to our troubles and we were left to wallow in our misery. We spoke within ourselves that it was a definite lie and they were definitely waiting for the plane that went to Ghana to come back and pick us up because a plane from airpeace actually picked up passengers to Ghana while we were waiting. While still talking amongst ourselves, a man started shouting and was obviously extremely angry. Apparently, his visa was about to expire and it was too late for him to go. If we had gone earlier at the appropriate time, he would still have gotten there on time and would have taken a flight back to Nigeria(He probably just needed the stamp on his passport). During his outburst, other people started speaking up and we got to know those who had connecting flight to other countries have definitely missed their flight and would have to book another flight to their destination(talk about waste of hard earned money). No one else from airpeace came back to us to calm us down, not until an uproar started and we were led to another gate to board another plane(showed the passengers were right about them waiting for the plane from Ghana to show up) we had to present our boarding pass again and we entered the plane. Cleaned up but still showed that it was definitely just used by passengers. The hostesses tried their best to keep us all calm and we had our seats. We had to ask for missing stuffs that were needed, like headsets, blankets and the likes but the tv wasn’t really working as the movie or song you try to play keeps stopping mid way and you probably have to start again, or it wasn’t even working at all. We didn’t mind any more cause we just wanted to get to our destination. The pilot apologized and said our safety was paramount and we had to wait for a passenger they were waiting for who must have gone somewhere at the airport due to the delay. We waited and minutes later, the pilot announced that it was time to depart. We all belted up and when I looked around, I noticed Nigerians find it hard to listen to paramount instructions if switching off your phones and actually being seated when the plane is about take off. Some still had their phone on and some decided it was time to visit the loo. I tried to tell them they are to be seated but didn’t listen until they were turned back by the hostess. The plane started to take off and it was a bumpy take off. Moving from left to right and I heard the sense to pray to my God for protection and forgiveness of sins. It was still a bumpy ride while the plane was on air and the hostesses moved around to serve food and drinks for everyoner(didn’t eat mine and passed it on to the next passenger). Passengers started to sleep after a much tiring day of waiting. Refreshments were served later on and everyone was at peace on air peace. After 6 hours plus of unrest from me mostly, it was announced that the plane was getting ready to land at Sharjah. That’s was when passengers knew they wanted to use the washroom. It got to the extent that the hostesses had to start knocking the toilet doors for them to be seated because the belt sign was up and everyone had to be seated for that. We landed and it was with much relief from everyone (especially me). We disembarked from the plane and we were transported to the arriver terminal and we all checked in. I was able to finish all processes by 12 pm in the afternoon Dubai time and I got a cab straight home( I didn’t know when I slept off and was woken up by my father who came to pick me up).

I noticed no foreigners were on the plane with us and that could be attributed to the fact that not only we don’t trust our products, even Foriegners don’t. Which is not a good sign. This airline started months Ago which means it is too soon to start having major issues on planes. This is giving a bad outlook to their prospective customers and not a good look to foreigners also. They need to step up their games on mantainance, operations and every other things because after what happened, lots of passnagers said they would not every try that again.

Operational issues is not what we can avoid but with good customer relation who can at all times come to calm us down on the present situation would have lightened the thoughts in our minds.

I give kudos to the hostesses for their professionalism despite all what was happening and they definitely had it top notch.

Air peace needs to do better because they just started and need to be better competitors to the likes of Emirates and Qatar airlines.

Thank you and I would be doing more reviews soon.
Have a blessed day.
Travel / Air Peace Review by naija2(f): 9:45pm On Nov 01, 2019
Few months ago, Air peace started international travels to Dubai. There have been mixed reactions from people concerning the airplane and I decided to try my luck out with it to Dubai. The flight was to leave Nigeria at 6:00 pm today Nigeria time. I got there at 3pm. There weren’t any form of organization in terms of checking in. So many shouting from passangers and the service providers. I was able to move pass that point very early due to some help I had. I moved straight to the boarding point and at 6:00 on the dot, we were told to board and I thought we finally had a competition with the likes of Qatar and Emirate. Boy! Was I wrong. We all settled in he plane, had good hostess services and I was impressed. Thirty minutes passed and still nothing( they might be putting in some final touches I think). An hour passed and the plane was starting to get hot as the air conditioning has been put off and trust Nigerians, they started to complain. Shouting and complains started and the hostesses tried their best to calm everybody. So many assumptions were being thrown around. At that point, the pilot announced that they will delay us for 20 minutes more and they are really sorry for the inconveniences. Passengers started talking and concluded that the airplane was trying to load more passengers which wasn’t right. At this point the heat was starting to get unbearable and the people started using the plane manuals as hand fans. Water was served to help with dehydration and still no movement. Despite the situation, Nigerians still managed to crack jokes. A passnagee said everybody should not finish the water now because we aren’t sure if we would get water when the plane is airborne. After 2 hours of waiting in a hot plane, we were told to disembark and wait at the terminal. Trust people, more grumbling on the bad services rendered. At this point, the only information given right from the biginning were what we were still holding on to. Which was that they were experiencing some operational issues. Going to an extra two hours now, we are still at the terminal waiting to know when we will be called to get back on the plane and down to our destination. Refreshment was served now and we hope things work out soon for us.
I will update on what happened next soon enough.
Crime / Binomo Scam On Instagram by naija2(f): 2:40pm On Oct 15, 2019
A friend of mine was contacted by the people on the picture attached as an investment company. They duped her of all she has and are saying she can only get her money when she pays more. They are scammers with no iota of conscience. They are saying for she to get her money back, she should give them her Instagram password. Please who does that. They have also refused to pick their number of 08084056525. Scamming people and saying they are an investment company.

This is why you thought it was Lacasera also.

Where in Nigeria do you still buy the big bottle Lacasera for NGN100.00 only?

You should try watching running man. A variety show from Korea. I can’t stop laughing every time I watch it. I can’t count how many times I have rewatched each ep from ep 1 to the recent episode. The show has been on since 2009. The best ever. I don’t even watch Korean series that much anymore. Everyday running man.

Custom seized my goods that were cleared from the port. They were all personal goods for my family and friends. I asked my driver to use his small car to get them for me and as he left the port back home, he was stopped by custom and both his car and goods were seized. Anyone knows how I can get both the car and goods back?
Romance / Male Guide To Female Communication by naija2(f): 11:39am On Jan 08, 2018
Female communication can upset, annoy and cause misunderstanding to men. most times, men find it extremely hard to understand what a woman is saying. Communication involves the ways that people express themselves to others and can be verbal (like talking) or nonverbal (like writing or body language). Needless to say, communication is a major part of running a business,  it's important for people of different genders to learn to communicate well with each other. it is somehow tasking for the men to actually understand females sometimes during conversation.

one thing men have to understand about women is that they connect though conversation as that is the point at which their emotions comes to its highest point.  According to Barton Goldsmith, Ph.D. a psychotherapist, in the “Psychology Today” article, “Men, Women, Emotions and Communication.” When a woman wants to talk, she wants to share emotions and thoughts, while a man generally shares ideas, suggestions and facts and avoids talking about feelings.

one thing we all know is that women use a lot of body language to communicate their feelings, and sometimes they are confusing. they use eye contacts, gestures and lots of animated facial expressions which i am sure the emoticon comes from. we've all gone out with our mums when we were little and she doesn't need to say anything but just her eyes tells you what not to do. According to psychotherapist Susan Sherwood, Ph.D., in the article, “10 Ways Men and Women Communicate Differently” on Discovery.com. A woman often prefers talking while sitting or standing in a cluster of people where everyone is face-to-face. A man prefers talking shoulder-to-shoulder in an angled pattern where he and his friends can take in the room. A woman might gesticulate, raise her eyebrows, incline her head and shrug her shoulders during the conversation. The man often prefers relaxed, sprawled pose and keeps the body language and facial expressions more contained, reveals Sherwood. best way to understand a woman through these expressions is to actually listen to them attentively as, they might and some actually used all at once.

while communicating with a woman, she will make use of sounds or words to show that she is listening to you. she makes use of  'ok', 'uh huh', etc. using those words shows she is actually listening to what you are saying. when she keeps quiet and not say anything is when she is not listening. always make sure to get a reply from her to make sure your conversation is not one sided.

Women are more likely to talk to other women when they have a problem or need to make a decision. if you as a guy is not ready to help with her problems, don't stop her when she talks to her friends. a man once said that conversing with his wife is like being on who wants to be a millionaire because you have to get all questions right. failure to get the question right or make the wrong statements results to heaven on earth. you, have to know it is not that hard conversing with a woman. most of the time, it is the thought that counts, or the understanding you give to their problems, no matter how mundane it seems. some of the things they worry about, might not be worth the worry, all you have to do is assure them that it will all be better.

Some say, best way to handle a lady is to give her all she wants and that way, you will have peace of mind. well, that is not true. Giving a lady all she asks for doesn't guarantee a peace of mind, it only hides whatever she is feeling inside. I heard of the story of a man that cheated on his wife, when she found out, he gave her everything she has ever asked for as a way to say he is sorry, but later after he had gotten her her wants, she poured her urine on him at night when he was asleep. what he did was not an apology, but a repression. all he did was repress her anger. she kept it all in and collected all he had to offer before showing her anger. He never gave a definite apology as she wanted him to do. (i won't give you ways to apologies to your wives or girlfriends when you cheat on them because, they weren't meant to be cheated on in the first place). Giving material things as a way to apologize isn't the real apology a lady wants, but knowing that you understand the depth of pain that she felt over what you must have done.

Dealing with women is itself a tasking work, but when you sit, relax and observe your woman, you will know what to do and you will understand her type of person better.

Literature / Re: Letter To The Introverts, From Sassynigerian by naija2(f): 10:14am On Nov 20, 2017
Ashley86400:
I'm an introvert and I'm comfortable with who I am.
Everything listed here defines my temperament and even more.
I'll stand for introverts like me and say the following :
- Someone asked me to define a very good day in my world. I told him it would include me being at home alone reading a very good novel/magazine or watching documentaries.
It's not like introverts are completely "anti-social", we don't go out on events and hang out with friends but it is usually at a lesser frequency than extroverts, its just too mentally exhausting to keep going out in public for one thing our other other. And when we do go out, it is usually because we "have" to, not because we particularly want to- perhaps it comes with the job or it's a compulsory event to attend.
Throughout my 4 years in unilag, I only went clubbing thrice, and each time, it was to attend a friend's birthday. My friends on the other hand when clubbling at least twice a week.Weekends were usually booked for them. It just show how different our temperaments are.
If the world was a big party, extroverts would be the usual life of the party, moving from one table to another and having the time of their lives.Intorverts on the other hand would be the ones who sit on the same table in a party, probably in a corner, away from the lights while watching the extroverts do their thing- most people mistaken this as introverts being shy, but the truth is we're just bored.
We introverts cherish our privacy a lot. Because going out in public completely takes us out of our comfort zone.

- If you see us raising our hands up last in class, it's basically because we don't want to jump into conclusions / or we find too much drama in expressive competition. There's just no point. Sometimes my teacher would have to personally point at me to get an answer.

- Music is primary for me, I've thrown tantrums at having my ear-piece stolen or spoilt than other personal stuff of mine. Music blocks out the activities of the world for every minute you listen to them. Being an introvert (melancholy) means we get lots of mood swings that we can't control. Basically we have an invisible on/off switch. Sometimes we're in the mood to talk a little or talk a lot, sometimes we don't wan to talk at all. People might see it as a diss or being snobbish, it's not. Our switches might just be off in that moment. Most times we don't even know why our moods change, sometimes our moods change because of things that happen to/around us, but most times there's no reason. They just do.
In a crowded place, I usually plug my ears to escape the noise or sometimes to discourage people from talking to me. I can't keep telling everyone I'm not in the mood for a chat, so I usually hope most people can get the situation and avoid me, still some of them (especially) extroverts will put out your ear-piece and shout something into your ear, lol.

-Unless, something very important is happening, I hardly make or receive calls or text. Emails keep flow in in- I can't control that. But it doesn't mean I'm not active on the internet. I would even say introverts are more cyber-junkies than extroverts. We surf and search for relative things to keep our interests up - latest games, forums for me Reddit, Nairaland, Quota etc) ,I'm a sports lover (especially football) so I'm always looking up stuff from fixtures, to matches, to pundits reviews and back again. .I communicate with my phone than with actual people.

There are a lot more notable things about introverts but I'll stop here. But if you meet introverts, don't think they're snubs or proud, talk to them ,strike up a conversation and get to know them, you might even be surprised they talk a lot when being broached about particular topics.
You just discribed me now. During my 4years in Unilag, I never went to a club. I felt if I wanted a drink, I can have it in my room and when I feel a little out of it, my bed is there to accommodate me immediately. Last thing I would want is for me to go to a club and embarrass myself. No introvert likes to be embarrassed and that’s why they like to observe a situation before they contribute to it.

Being an introvert is not always fun. I am one and one thing I would like to do is to go out more, but when I get the opportunity, I am either bored or I look for a reason not to go. We spend more time in our head than we do with people. We dream a lot which is nice because that way, we actually think of so many ideas we want to achieve but the issue there is that does Who are extreme introverts find it a little hard to achieves those dreams because of their fear of the outside world. Some times introverts are ruled by fear of what is outside.

For example, why would this lady want this pictures to go viral? Logically speaking, there is no answer but emotionally there is a reason.
I think she wanted that feeling of self confidence. And he only way to do that is to put out that which made her have low level of confidence. Nigerians are just too judgmental. I also wanted to study psychology, I wanted to understand human behavior and understanding but I don’t have a science back ground. cry
