GOAL NO1: First goal was conceded as early as the 3rd minute from a rebound off the goalpost. How do you explain the loss of reflex action in a keeper presenting the opposition with an unhindered shot on goal with the rebound shot coming off the keeper's back! You don't make such basic mistake with a Messi-team. Seemed like stage fright. That the team got him out of jail by hitting back at Argentina is highly instructive or else it would have been a total whitewash. Verdict: saveable shot. GOAL NO. 2: Do I need to analyse this goal?

You talk of reflexes,.A goal-keeper made a LOW DIVE 2 d left trying to save d 1st shot which deflected of d cross-bar.Rebound which was quick was a fierce shot into the top corner.You call that a soft goal ??.
I dont know of any keeper that would save that.
Also d rebound didnt come off enyeama's back.I dont know where u watched ur match.

These are the players with d highest ratings in their various positions.
The players that are similar to Neymar on that list are Robben and Messi.
Neymar performed well but not better than Robben or Messi.
Arguable though.
But i think neymar isnt on d list becos of d mexico game.

One cannot deny the power in his forward surges, but they, as always lacked an edge. His crossing was as always :poor, and like you would expect he wasn't great with cutbacks either. He had one moment in deleting the Argentine left back to create a chance, which he made use of only to win a corner kick.

Ambrose tried,but he was mainly at fault for d 1st goal conceeded.
Was out-of-position and that gave rojo too much space on d left.

The absence of Victor Moses from nigeria's starting XI for the game against bosnia came as a surprise to some,while some people like me expected it due to his poor performance against iran and also through gists 4rm some sources in the eagles camp in brazil.
But what came as a surprise to majority was him not even been brought in as a sub.
Uzoenyi and Ameobi were brought in by keshi ahead of moses.
Now after the match moses took to his twitter page to announce that he missed the match due to a "small niggle" and is hopeful to be fit for the game against argentina.

That statement turned out to be a big LIE.
Keshi came out to say that nobody was aware of any injury to moses.
And that he benched moses due to tactical reasons.Mainly his inability to work hard on d pitch and track-back to assist d defence in the game against Iran,NOT because of injury.
Moses lied to his fans that injury kept him out of the game against bosnia,probably trying to make them believe that their "star player" is undroppable under normal circumstances.
He turned out to be a fool deceiving himself.
Now its unclear what made him miss the game against argentina.
Keshi has come out to say that he is suffering from a muscle strain picked up in training (AFTER THE GAME AGAINST BOSNIA).
But some sources close to d super-eagles camp said moses refused to be in the squad for the argentina match because he was left out of the starting XI.
Another source also claimed that moses faked d "muscle strain" injury when he saw that he wasnt going to be in the starting XI for the match against argentina.
We cannot confirm if any of those are true(including the statement from Keshi).
But what is clear is that Victor Moses and Keshi aren't in good terms atm.
Victor Moses is a good player with potentials to become world class,but he has a very poor attitude.
Michael Babatunde's performance against Bosnia and argentina(where he provided the assist for Musa's 1st goal) made many nigerians forget that victor moses even existed.
But now with Babatunde injured and ruled out for d rest of the world cup,
Victor moses if fit would've been the most appropriate replacement.
But with the poor attitude that he is displaying in camp,keshi might decide not to start him.
I think it was a very good decision by keshi to drop him against bosnia.At least to show him that no player is bigger than the team.
With mikel's poor/lackadaizical performance so far,i was hoping keshi would do the same to him in the game against Argentina,so as to make him buckle-up.
It might not be advisable to drop Mikel in a crucial round of 16 match,but with his awful performance so far i am tempted to say "DROP MIKEL.AZEEZ OR REUBEN CAN'T PERFORM WORSE".

For those doubting d fact dat mikel has been a key part of every manager's plan(aside AVB) at chelsea since he joined/those saying he has been a BENCH WARMER at chelsea,here is mikel's no. Of EPL appearances/starts from 2007/2008 season(though he joined chelsea in 2006,but was still a learner then so i excluded his 1st season).
Remember,u can only play a maximum of 38 EPL games in one season:-

2007/2008-29 appearances,22 starts

2008/2009-34 appearance,33 starts

2009/2010-25 appearances,21 starts

2010/2011-29 appearances,29 starts

2011/2012-22 appearances,15 starts

2012/2013-22 appearances,20 starts


Looking at this,d only season mikel started "not-so-much" amount of games was the 2011/2012 season.And that was under AVB.
The rest of d seasons(including last season that some people say he warmed d bench),he started more than 50 % of chelsea's PL matches.
Looking at these statistics shows that mikel has been a key part in almost every chelsea's manager plan.
There is NO WAY a bench-warmer/un-important player would be starting most of his club's games every season.
I compared this with Carrick of machester united and found out that in some of d seasons(From 2007 to last season),Mikel started more games at chelsea than carrick at manchester united.
So would u say carrick has been a bench-warmer at Man-U ??
