I haven't heard or watched this M.I/Pryse remix (I no wan waste my Mbytes abeg!), but the original otis didn't make much sense; just the video that was quite interesting. Nothing they yarn inside the joint. |
RIP Perx |
@Scriptwizz I think you and Roadstar are saying the same thing |
Please, what's stopping Nigeria from having at least ONE fully functional refinery? |
But I thought one of the main reasons we needed refineries was basically to eliminate the costs of exporting, refining outside and then importing refined products, so as to make more funds available for developmental projects IN NIGERIA and also this would consequently translate to drastic reduction in the cost of purchasing these products by NIGERIANS. Whether Shell is interested or not, this is something WE must do! |
Many of these scammers are of different Nationality, including many Europeans. There was a case where some Europeans duped an American. When the American found out, he was busy yelling 'you Nigerians' on the phone. Even the 419ers had to tell him to calm down; that they were not Nigerians, and advised him to watch his greed and use his brain next time. For those of African origin, even when caught, most claim to be Nigerian until further investigation's carried out. Not saying Nigerians are not involved, but not as rampant as alleged to be. |
When my younger brother and I were very young, we used to wait in/around the sitting room whenever we had visitors. After leaving and our parents saw them out, my brother and I would just run to the sofa(s) where the visitor(s) sat to smell/sniff it. One of 3 results: 1. Huuummmn! This person's nyash is smelling!; or 2. Nice scent!; or 3. Nothing. The day our parents catch us eh! They just dey look us like aliens! |
The smell of New cds and New books! |
Quote from Aparche I love the smell of dust (don't know why), when I was younger I used to deliberately raise dust & then inhale it. Then I will spend sometime sneezing; It was pure *bliss*O bwoi! kemiola89:Na burukutu be dat o! |
Virtually every human loves that pleasant smell that comes from the ground/soil when it's about to rain/during the rain/after rain. It's called 'Petrichor'. The human olfactory sense is extremely sensitive to this smell (actually 'geosmine' raised as the rain drops beat the soil) ; that's why you can sense it's raining kilometers/miles away even when it's sunny at your location. Many people sniff petrol, locally made glue and even suck-away pits for highness! He he he |
James Ibori pleaded guilty to money laundering charges because he was trying to protect the integrity and image of NigeriaThis one don dey madttt finish! Pls don't protect anything o! The only thing you need to do to is call out your co thieves. Interest and image of Nigeria indeed! You didn't think about this when you deprived your people access to good healthcare, good State roads, etc for 8 years! |
And this is someone who governed a State for a good number of years. Nigeria!!! Money Laundering. Aim is to conceal illegally acquired money/wealth What has the no.1 citizen of the State got to do with ILLEGAL wealth if not through corruption? Or is he trying to tell us he actually robbed a bank/banks? |
That justice who acquitted him in 2009 also needs to be jailed. |
James Ibori has now been convictedNo oh! Allow him! He grew straight out from a fertilized egg in the refrigerator! |
See the kind people wey dey hold public offices, dey 'lead' una for una country! Thieves from birth! |
May God help our Country. We need other Countries to help serve justice to our criminals. This is the first time I've witnessed such happening to a Nigerian gov.t official. Our judiciary is utterly USELESS! |
See these govs whose states are becoming increasingly unhabitable talking rubbish. More allocation for what? They haven't tackled security issues chasing investors away. With the previous allocations they've been receiving, nothing meaningful has been done. They should increase allocation as other Nigerians are running to the South. Rubbish! |
How far with the 2 Yoruba wey first carry the bombs? ![]() |
All those talking about handing him over to the police to extract info, are you trying to say that reasonably sufficient info hasn't been extracted from abu qaqa, kabiru sokoto, zakari biu and co for this government to take decisive action against madness? Whatever info the guy had to offer would have been useless, besides he was a suicide bomber; he wouldn't know much about those sponsoring & calling the shots in bh. With that said, . . . clubbing to death? Dem dey harsh o! |
Females from Imo state Nigeria have more hair on their chest than the males. False (Oya! All Imo chicks line up hia and open ya chests! )The cost of living in Abuja, is more expensive than the cost of living in London. False (if speaking in general terms) An average Ibo man can smell money that is 100 meters away. I haven't come across any documented findings about such unprecedented olfactory capabilities. So for now, I'll presume this to be False. Ijebu people fart all the time. Even while Being Intimate. False (not possible; Ijebus in Nig, Ghana, UK, Japan can't be on the same diet to start farting. . . ALL THE TIME!. . . NA CURSE?) Ibo girls are stingy and greedy False (Not possible for all Ibo females to be stingy and greedy) Beware of Edo girls. False |
Maiduguri girls with longest hair? False (check Adamawa, Katsina) 4 out of 5 Edo girls with Italy connection? Simply False Gwagwalada is the hottest place in Nigeria. False (visit Maiduguri b/w March and August. Report how many birds you'll see dropping from the sky; how many lizards dropping dead from trees; also the sharp change in your complexion) Nigeria is the only country where everybody looks forward to hearing the First Lady speak. False (I don't) Ibadan girls don't shave their armpit. False (Even if na culture, many wouldn't adhere to that) Abuja girls are materialistic, expensive but cheap. False (Here again, that can't apply to ALL girls in Abuja; such girls would be found in other States) Nigeria has the highest number of musicians in the world. False (Popular US artistes are not up to a fraction of those looking for a big break) Will go through the others later. |
I no know o! E be like say for Nigeria, before they born pesin e go choose im tribe. Me, I no fit recall say make I choose tribe. Maybe that's why I no come be from any of the 'major tribe' Chei!!! |
And some People go comot talk say 'Let's not destroy the works of our founding fathers' So the summary of this thread, (although I couldn't read past page 1): As animosity b/w different tribes was nurtured by our founding fathers, so have Nigerians religiously adhered to and maintained such ill-teachings resulting in unimaginable level of poverty, ignorance, recurrent sectarian and intertribal clashes, corruption, and the list goes on. UNA WELL DONE! |

Why now? See more Eastern States: Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Taraba nko? |
Indeed, You were a brave Patriot (a thing many Nigerians would not even imagine) |
Quote from 13volts When You Marry An Illiterate Woman asDid Wole Soyinka say that? If he did, how many of his followers on protests/demonstrations who have been on the receiving end of Nigeria's problems are actually literate? |

I'm still trying to what logic is being employed in comparing Boko haram to MEND. |
^^ 'Over 50 million Hausa-Fulanis' Bros, in Nigeria alone? That's close to half of the whole of Nigeria's population. Remember other Northerners are there, also from the West, East and S/South. So all these rest roughly make up the other half? |
