I was actually expecting something like this.
Here's a suggestion: You can take this matter up at the next boko haram parliamentary session. Just push forward the motion 'To teach these Saudis a thing or two about Islam!'
Foreign AffairsRe: Saudi Arabia Will Enter Women For London Olympics by NaMe4: 7:28pm On Jun 25, 2012
Just watched it on the news.
See Saudi advancing. Great development.

tpia@:
are these women from saudi, or just representing saudi.

did they shave their eyebrows or something.

front row, right, is the only one with the typical saudi features.

second row, far left, looks white, or european.
They are Saudi citizens, from the TV report there were a few of them whose hair were not covered, I guess those were Christians.

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Denies Involvement In Kano Mosque Bombing Plot by NaMe4: 9:54am On Jun 24, 2012
^^^
Exactly! That's why the bomb was not detonated in the mosque.
This most probably was a move by BH to gain support from Muslims.
There's one thing for sure - BH would not want to be isolated and hunted by every other person in the Country ie by Christians, Muslims, etc.
PoliticsRe: Police Avert Explosion At Fagge Juma'at Mosque, Kano by NaMe4: 8:22pm On Jun 22, 2012
Dudu_Negro: It is time you adopt a correct way of critical analysis.

The man left and never returned. . .
Three men standing outside shouted Allahu Akbar, thinkingthe bomb had gone off. . .

If the man never returned, how was he captured?
If the three were standing outside, then they should see and hear everything that those standing with them witnessed and why were they the only ones who thought bombs went off, amongst multitude bystaqnders?
Allahu Akbar in thiscontext can be interpreteed to mean Grace be to God for bringing it to revelation and averting destruction.

You are just as clueless about Boko modus operandi as your fisherman boss in cowboy hats. Creek creep!
I was actually wondering the same thing.

And what's about the 'Igbo and Yoruba' men.
Were they the ones that shouted 'Allahu Akbar'?

Plus I thought they were 3 of them who called the attention of the Police to themselves; who then was the third one.
Ok... That one was Ijaw, he just came in from Brasil.

femmy82: There we go again! Samething happen when YUSUF was killed without been duely investigated this I think erupted the anger of yusuf's deciples, which lead to the begining of BOKO WAR in nigeria.now again another killind..however there was never a time a niger delta militant was caught and killed, even wen Asari, boyloaf nd others committed same crime.they were all celebrated @da ado villa..wat a partial treatment..well let's wait nd see..
The Bama guy was fatally injured following a shoot-out. If the SSS retrieved some info from him do you expect them to broadcast it?
And there could be the possibility, if the SSS has good intelligence, that this might just be a charade to isolate the guy and work with him. (Something similar to a witness protection program).

Meanwhile, those who have robbed the Country in broad daylight and those who sponsor terrorism either walk freely undisturbed or granted indefinite bail.

alex_101: Yoruba! Yoruba!! Yoruba!!! When are you oily-soup-eating clowns going to stop licking the smelly ar.ses of ewusa/fulani people. Has is really come to this? I can understand Yoruba's bowing down to the north, but I'm really appalled at Yoruba's becoming spokes-men/spokes-women for a northern terrorist sect like boko haram.
I tire for these folks! How the hell did I end up in thesame country with these people?

When the dungeon called nigeria finally crumble, I will personally advise my new nation's administration to position a naval fleet/military base in the territorial waters of Odua republic, for we cannot afford to trust these people to think/act right cool.

IslamRe: How Can We Fight Terrorism? by NaMe4: 2:44pm On Jun 21, 2012
Joey82: I think the op started a fine thread soliciting for practical solutions and all we've ended up debating so far is the various factions that exist in islam which at all is no solution to our current plight.
I think pdp needs to be seriously questioned.
this may sound absurd to a lot of us but to be honest, i think boko haram is a pdp agenda.
they have bombed churches, police commands, the media, schools, markets etc. the funny thing is they (boko) also pronounce government as a common enemy and this government is run by pdp.
why havnt we asked ourselves why non of pdp facilities is ever touched.
go to locations where these bombings are prevalent, pdp's beautiful state secretariats still stand tall waving their goddamn flags, why are they never touched?
Very true. This whole problem is most likely the agenda of a Non-Islamic setting eg PDP. But what tool are they using?

What did the failed bomber in Bauchi yesterday say?
IslamRe: How Can We Fight Terrorism? by NaMe4: 2:33pm On Jun 21, 2012
maclatunji: Ok, you are done sulking? There is no reason for you to point fingers at 'Wahabis/Salafis' and tag them as a group as terrorists. That is no different from non-Muslims tagging all Muslims terrorists. There are terrorists hiding in virtually every religion/creed, it is a simple solution, address the criminality and leave sentiments aside. Once you do that, you will make substantial progress. It reminds me of cultism in campuses, when someone gets killed, they call it "cult attack", heck no! That is called Murder and should be treated as such. There are millions of people under the 'Wahabi/salafists' creed, it is nothing short of madness to say majority of them are terrorists just like there are terrorists in other creeds. Address those and leave out name-calling and propaganda.
Please, why is it that for a good number of you (and I must say this - esp in the Islamic Faith), when an issue is brought up for serious discussion or analysis which concerns all of us, you begin to cite some outrageous examples. What do you mean that "There are terrorists hiding in virtually every religion/creed".

What exactly is the problem affecting NIGERIA right now?

Is it Christian Terrorists or Animist Terrorists or whatever? It is very clear that the terror on the shores of this Country is being propagated by a group of persons with a certain ideology which they claim is Islamic Jihad.

That is exactly what @LagosShia is trying to point out. And it is a known fact that we have lots of Muslims who don't interpret the scriptures as those propagating this mayhem and would definitely not subscribe to these atrocities.

And the truth is that the teaching of such ideology has to be eradicated and that can only be achieved by fellow faithfuls impacting the right teachings on such followers.

The truth is that in the bigger picture such teachings are being sustained by those who are always willing to use the followers as tools to achieve their selfish worldly interests.

I agree with you very much on this:
it is a simple solution, address the criminality and leave sentiments aside

Once again, the ethnic card has been used to oppress poor Nigerians . . . by Nigerians!

This Country has to split. This is absolute Rubbish! Half illiterates (Some are even complete illiterates) thinking they can do whatever they feel using ethnic and religious sentiments.

Wallahi if this guy goes free with all the clear evidence against him and those thieves in that NASS, then we should be well assured Nigeria is the definition of a Complete State of Anomie!
PoliticsRe: Christian Youths Kill Muslims In Reprisal Attacks At Gonin Gora, Kaduna by NaMe4: 10:22pm On Jun 17, 2012
rawtruth: You may be right to some extent but, on the other hand, it can be correctly argued that muslims don't value their lives that is why they allow terrorists to live and flourish among them. Where are these boko haram terrorists staying? Do you think they reside among the Christians and bomb Churches without anyone seeing them? You don't seem to have taken note of the grand conspiracy of silence among the Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri muslims in the north. Why are there no terrorists among the Yoruba muslims in the west, or the Igalas of Kogi state? Are they not using the same Quran? Look, these people have long considered themselves Arabs and they are now acting 'Arabically'. If they wished to be exonerated from blame let them come out and chase these animals from their midst, they know them!
True

RomanceRe: Ladies, Can U Fart In D Presence Of Ur Boyfriend? by NaMe4: 8:14am On Jun 07, 2012
Shollypopz: Personally, i don't think it's appropriate to freely fart in front of anyone. It's not about who i'm comfortable around.......from a very young age, i was taught that it's bad manners. Be comfortable all you want.........but there's still not a good reason to do it. Do you pick your nose in front of your partner, too? Sit on the toilet with the door wide open for all to see? Tweeze your nipple hairs? Some matters of personal hygiene and bodily functions, in my opinion, should be left private.
You may find it okay to fart but others in the room may not, so why offend them? Why not get up and leave the room for 2 seconds to do what you have to do?
It's a totally natural bodily functions and if it happens accidentally, fine!........p an "excuse" me should be said just like when you burp. But to purposely do it goes against my upbringing so i don't do it.
Just imagining if the farts are released in loud quantum doses in a public place... After every packet, an 'excuse me' would follow. Hmmm
PoliticsRe: Are We Any Better Than The Leaders We Condemn ? by NaMe4: 12:56am On Jun 04, 2012
jamace: Whether elected or selected, once you get into leadership position, the spirit of leadeship should take control of you. You no longer have an option but to lead and lead well.
I don't get it! So if an 'armed robber/rogue' is 'elected' or 'selected', the 'spirit of leadership' should automatically take control?

Frosbel, you make a lot of sense.
A GOOD leader will have to come out from a GOOD pack.

The simple truth is that corruption has eaten deep into the society, a lot of Nigerians FRANKLY do not know when they act improperly.
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Recalls All Sacked Doctors by NaMe4: 6:59am On Jun 01, 2012
allycat: Nobody should expect the doctors to go back to work like say tomorrow, reason there is no reason for them to trust Tinubu coming on air and saying that the sack has been SUSPENDED. What does it mean to suspend a sack? Tinubu was one of those that signed the previous agreement that was later denied by the government and the doctors know thathe is also one of the chief advocates of the strike, so why should they trust any thing that comes out of his mouth..I am one of the doctors and since I was given a physical sack letter by my employers, I will not go back to work if I don't get another letter stating that the old letter is not valid or has been rescinded. Or do you think a Prof of surgery or medicine who was begged in the first place to come to LASUTH when they needed known names to get accreditation to set up the medical school , will just get up and go to work tomorrow because Tinubu came on air and made some announcement. The problem is far from over and the repercussions will linger for a long time.
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Recalls All Sacked Doctors by NaMe4: 6:52am On Jun 01, 2012
bodejohn: We need to be very objective no matter whose as.s is at stake. The same government of Fashola signed with paper and ink the salary in dispute about a year ago before the elections only to renege on its payment after they won the elections. Even if there was change in the leadership of the state, the new government is duty bound by the agreement reached by the previous administration since we all know that government is a continuum.
Just imagine that the leadership of Lagos had changed from ACN to PDP after the agreement was signed and the PDP government refused to pay we would have been crying and shouting that the PDP government is bad.
To add insult to injury, the doctors gave the government a notice of warning strike only to be served queries after the warning strike which eventually lead to the indefinite strike and the purported dismissal of the over 700 doctors.
Let me also add that the state government must have seen that they were heading for disgrace at the industrial court as the salary in dispute was duly signed by state government. The recall of the doctors to me is a face saving attempt by the government to hide their inconsistencies.
When issues like this happens especially issues that bothers on trust, the masses should be very objective. If a government can renege on a signed contract and agreement how much more will they not turn their backs on the same masses who they only promised to bring dividends of democracy by words of month.
The issue in Lagos is not about wage or salary increase, it is about a government deceiving the people for political gains which was the last elections in this case.
