Xixtie: Honestly you all are mad. Youths will win what this way? How dare you flout the order of a governor, an order imposed in his bid to restore normalcies? You stupid nits cheering them on online are the problems here. You all are hiding behind your keypads to post nonsense when scores are dying out there. May you get shot for your refusal to say the truth. What else do you want again? Hasn't the unit be disbanded? Didn't Mr Speaker address his fellow HOR members earlier over the quests of the youths? Why can't you all wait and allow them implement what they've promised to do rather than constituting nonsense. This is daft |

Taiosquare: Ha, to the paid E-Thugs here, we need more than soothsayers to make them remember that dignity is still a thing. Some of them have already resumed opening tribal war threads. All youth should register a new political party. Get sets of potential leaders, draw out policies to impact lives of Nigerians positively and even implement them in the next few years in whatever capacity we can. The next elections should be a total wipe out of these rogues from governance. But before then, if no tangible reforms, these rogues should be kept on their toes. |

Miracle2020: If that was the initial plan for this protest then you are backing the wrong tree. Buhari is a movement and no any politician can stand him. Therefore if you guys have been collecting money from PDP to actualize their evil intentions then you better look for way to pay them back their money. Buhari don't even need soldiers to defend, the millions of people that voted him are enough to stop any idiot. Again, tell PDP to be ready to stay as opposition for the next 50 yrs. Which millions of people? From Katsina, Taraba Kano, Jos, Lagos, Edo, Abuja Nigerians have demanded an end to misgovernance. This one is talking about APC and PDP. Very unfortunate. |

Politics › Government-sponsored Hoodlums Taking Over Protests In Multiple States by NaMe4(op): 2:58pm On Oct 19, 2020 |
As you must have heard or seen, hoodlums and thugs have taken to the streets attacking peaceful protesters. Locations include Edo, Lagos, Abuja.
This is one of the old tricks that has been used repeatedly in the past by the government to scuttle effective means of demands made by the people in the form of protests.
I'd suggest everyone stays safe especially in States where curfew has been imposed. Allow the security forces and the hoodlums sort themselves out. Once this phase of violence is over, a better coordinated movement bigger than the previous would be embarked upon. This will be the norm until visible and clear reforms in every aspect of Nigerian lives are seen.
As for now, the government of the day is relying on their intimidation tactic which was expected and is DOA. |

One thing guys need to understand regarding police brutality is that it's almost non-existent in the North. Personally, I only witnessed it when I came to the South. We can only advise guys up North to be careful what they wish for. But one thing I am certain of is the northern youth will not tolerate SARS excesses for up to one month, unlike how it lingered in the South. They'd start lynching them. |

ola6: Im disappointed with what the OP typed. This is the chance to change this country for good. The protest should continue It's quite disturbing some of our youth can't see the opportunity presented to correct gross anomalies afflicting this Country with this United front. They are still fixated on partisan politics. Even the major players see the writings on the wall. This is the beginning of the end to the ills from which they've benefited for decades. All their antics aimed at stopping this movement have failed woefully. |

But police have to eat na BehindBiafra: Allow police to do their choppings. Bail is free is not the problem. Bail is just 5k .The problem Is SARS they dont have names to trace, no badge they dont have plate number to track. They dont have uniform. Full blown robbers Pls allow the police to do their small Choppings. The real. thieves are SARS.
This is BBC interview they took 150k from a guy who owns a restaurant and threatened to implicate him if he doesn't pay them for no reason
The problem is SARS not police This is terrible! |
