I'm an APC supporter and will never because I'm not ready to do what they do to get into power but my concern is that why do PDP of all Party be complaining of electoral malpractice when they enjoyed it for 16years. Infact all the people shouting APC this APC that are products of electoral malpractice because. In 1999 PDP controlled almost 33 out of 36 that made up the country and same in 2003,2007 and 2011 but my concern is that why can't they handle this opposition in a peaceful way. This Edo State election APC will rig and PDP will rig irrespective of the outcome of the result.....the best rigger will surely win. To me PDP is not matured to play Nigeria politics at all. I wish a happy death to those useless youths that wish die for a candidate that will not in anyway effect their positively.

It's a pity, our people will never support our government in any challenge against a threat from the international body. Just like it it stayed in the article above, you can't just sit in your country and decide to sanction anybody for a misdeeds without following the right channel, it is disrespectful and should not be allowed.
If as an international observer, you have any evidence of election rigging or misdeeds, you forward your evidence to the right channels and do a follow up.

Now, how do Government mitigate against all these effects Is it not by cutting down the cost of governance that we are all talking is too bogus and extravagant before this pandemic

Rather, they have chosen to create new agency, new directors, new board members, new office space, new operational vehicles and other infrastructure....NEW WAYS OF MORE SPENDING SPREE!!!

You guys are always attacking the wrong person in the context of protest.

Normally for any protest to become successful in Nigeria, there has to be input from politicians most especially the opposition. Even if Tinubu is disappointed in Buhari policies, he won’t go out and start organizing protests to destroy his party so why the wailing.

The PDP failed as opposition and it is shameful that all they do is to wail on social media and write epistle wailing daily without no meaningful oppositional politics. You mean Buhari will arrest them likes of Atiku, Kwakwanso, Jonathan, Saraki, Bose George, and etc if they carry placards and protest?

If Atiku lead the protest in the NE, Wike lead in the SS, Bode George lead in the SW, Peter Obi in the SE, Kwakwanso in the NW, and Saraki in the NC simultaneously. You think Buhari won’t halt the price hike?

You can see that the opposition then controlled by Tinubu sponsored series of protest against Jonathan which was part of the reason why they were able to achieve the feat of defeating the incumbent.

I recall that during Jonathan's rule, when the fuel price was increased, people protested on the streets and even burnt tyres on the roads. These persons were mostly the Northerns (who burnt tyres on the roads) from my location at the time.

Fuel price has increased to NGN159/160 per litre but no one is protesting. All we do is to complain bitterly.

Nigeria has never had it this bad under democratic settings.

While other governments are providing palliatives at this global economically challenging period, Nigeria's is increasing taxes, utility charges and removing subsidies.
Just go book a domestic flight now and see the taxes added to the actual flight fare.

For a good half of my University Education my results were woeful. It didn't deter me, as I was sure that in the emerging global economy paper certificate held no water. While many sought to scorn me, I was 10years ahead of my times in terms of wisdom.

Today it's the flip side, those who held tightly to 1st class and second class degrees are either scouting to be drivers for those who don't have a certificate or burning their hard earned degree in frustration.

It's the new world. The value of sound Education cannot be overestimated but what sound education was yesterday is entirely different from what it is today. True Education lies in imbibing mental, social, and manual skills to navigating the emerging economy, and developing sufficient fluidity to adapt to changing dynamics especially we cross between different micro and macrocultures

why will it not be miseducation when we have decided to live like animals and the theories and skills learnt in class can not be applied in the real world in Nigeria because there is no law and order. A political scientist for instance is supposed to be an asset to civil society because they are equipped with the skills to crunch data and make projections about political power dynamics - real numbers, not empty grammar or guess work, and advice the government and even politicians on what to do to increase their rate of success

in developed societies - where things work, political scientist (like Karl Rove) and sociologist are needed to drive public policy and implement positive social change - they do not come out saying 95% of this is that without concrete statistics and credible data - so MR OBJ - those who studied these courses are not the one with the problem -Nigeria is the problem because we will rather allow MC Oluomo, Tony Kabaka and co to help their god fathers rig elections against the people’s will

so why will they need political scientist if their advise and input is not needed because rigging will invalidate their projections-? and the government is not planning to implement any policy rather than looting ?
