There's obviously no chance for PDP, at least in Kd. Without sentiments, the performance at the State level has been woeful. |
It's crazy in Kd right now. Lots of youth on the streets sweeping cars with brooms, performing stunts with bikes and cars, awaiting the arrival of GMB |
Yeah. A lot of security personnel, road blocks. Guess it's a Mega Rally. But for sure, gudbye PDP in Kaduna. |
See chief Security Officer! |
tpia6: ![]() I have always laughed whenever such statements were made in our own clime. The idea of tall, dark and handsome conceived in the west (by caucasians), originally referred to white men with a dark shade to their complexion. Eg George Clooney, Sean Connery. But trust black man! E go copy pass the original sef! Even African mixed-race individuals are referred to as dark by default! |
The message she intended to pass across was - what would make her cheat on you did not exist! What if it existed nko? ![]() |
LordMecuzy:I wonder if it would have been termed mutiny if the junior soldiers had ignored the order from the colonel. |
My brother, most of those being sentenced were those who reacted when 'moles' gave out their colleagues to the insurgents. The 'order' which the court martial intends to maintain is that in which the common man would be prevented from speaking out despite fully bearing the effects of the 'big man's' negative activities, which is a general occurrence in the Nigerian society. |

I concur |
Any News? |
Really, I just don't know what to make of it. |
Can this be taken as 'Normal'? What of such greetings in the mornings even on public holidays? ![]() Opinions please! |
AfricanApple:Even if their bf spends crazy on them? I'm not saying she must reciprocate, but the thoughtfulness in doing little things which would involve spending would go a long way in defining the sort of individual the lady is. Though, if she doesn't have what to spend, that would be different. |
Did any Nlander who applied get any appointment letter? |

LIARS!!!!! |
Lol I was even wondering whether the girl had some sort of congenital anomaly, only for the robbers to ascertain the normality of the hidden treasure and allay such fears in the newest husband in town! |
Thanks op. I was perplexed when I saw that headline a day ago. That further confirmed the unprofessional attitude of many of our media personnel. It's virtually impossible for Camerounian army to invade Nigerian territory up to Konduga town. Konduga is next to the State capital after Dalori. |
Kachisbarbie: The lady never said we should settle for less - I guess y'all misunderstood her...she meant, we shouldn't be blinded by physical looks, sometimes marriage goes beyond the physique...just marry someone you wanna wake up to everyday (and vice-versa)...that's just itJust Brilliant! |
Out of six coils in a nissan murano, only one coil burns out almost immediately it is fixed (no. 6). All others are perfectly okay. Help! Did a scan and got the following codes: P1800 VIAS S/V CIRC P0335 CKP-SEN/CIRC Although going to the electrician to check the negative terminal. But could the burning of a single coil still be from the brainbox? |
Seun: That's either the stupidest thing I've ever heard or a lie. Graduating with a first class is a strong advantage that employers value. You say you have not been able to get a quality job, but has it not occurred to you that you may have gotten one if you finished with 1st class?Making 1st class in University is a personal choice. One may choose to relax or get involved in other activities apart from academics with the aim of still getting very good grades. Besides, first class would not make up for experience or determine the need for further academic pursuits OR in a country like Nigeria, guarantee a government job based on merit. For multinational and private firms and establishments, yes. But there is a limit to the number those can take in. |
Emasel: medical field is no exception. Its even worse.Getting a job as a Doctor/nurse/pharmacist/med lab scientist in a Federal or State hospital aint easy broNigerians don't know! Over 60% of medics work in the private sector. Na who know who dey get jobs in the understaffed under-equipped federal health facilities. |
Gorimakpa: My dear you are still in a relatively good situation. You have been in the labour market for only three months, which I do not consider long enough to provoke angst or despondency......Simple truth! Applicable to every sector in the Country run by government and sadly even involves the medical/healthcare sector of all places. |
Theodarl: I don't hv to tell u that the sky is blue on a sunny day. I hv not mentioned anything about my profession. Y would u assume I am a health worker? U hv just reacted like a regular physician. Maybe u r one. I think u should consult ur dictionary if u don't know the difference btw nomenclature n title. Dr is a title not a nomenclature. Other health proffesionals r addressed with the regular title Mr. If u r open minded and not biased u would agree that these other health proffessionals should be addressed as Dr not Mr because Dr according to English oxford dictionary is a person licenced to practise medicine. Eg. Nursing is medicine. It is a branch of modern medicine. A nurse that has graduated from the university n registered with the nursing council is licensed to practice nursing. In otherwords licensed to practise medicine in the field of nursing. Therefore should be addressed with the title Dr. The same goes for other health workers in other areas of medicine. So when you NURSE your wards or family member undergoing treatment at home under the physician's prescription, you have invariably practised medicine and IN OTHER WORDS, you could be referred to as a doctor! I think I get it! PS: I did not mention anything about your profession. |
Theodarl: The title Dr. Is well respected and very popular. The professional nomenclature for the medical doctors is physician. Every other health professional also has a professional nomenclature. Point is they can also b called Dr because they r also licensed to practise medicine. So from your explanation, a nurse is actually a doctor and this has been established in a few climes. Okay! |
Really, I'm just learning that MOST Nigerian doctors went through the university tuition-free. Maybe it depends on the part of the Country or maybe certain States. I am a practising medical doctor and I recall at least 40% of my class were not sponsored by any government. From the beginning of my education till graduation, government has had nothing to do with sponsoring my education, and that has been samefor a large number of mycolleagues. So the argument about government sponsoring virtually all doctors holds no water as far as I am concerned. Just a clarification though! |
Mynd44: Dumb Nigerians taking part in a dumb challenge when we ain't used to cold.....I no fit laff o. |
If this is true, then this our minister of health na real wah! |
mployer: Kill building owner and free quack engineers that did the constructionMy brother, I don't know what method we use in selecting people to occupy key positions in this Country. Pathetic! |
All we can do is wait for Amaerica's ZMapp with questionable effectiveness? I don't want to believe Nigerian medical experts have not suggested different ways of managing this disease. We are a people in serious trouble allowing dense people run affairs for us. Check the websites of the so-called research centers and ministry of health - redundant, no communication portals, not working! What is difficult in inviting those who claim to have solutions to this problem to present them with sound scientific evidence and facts regarding the disease and how the drug/therapy would bring about desired effects? Instead, everyone has sat down, open eye waiting for US to send Zmapp. Make una dey wait! So the so-called research labs cannot even carry out a test on a monkey? Abi another 'high-powered' committee to go purchase monkey is still in the developmenal stages? |
