You need to pick ALL 6 to correctly determine the contents of each box. |
prettyprettywow: when we achieve privatization, then drs will have to pay for their residency training like they do abroad and not expect to be paid to be students, Then we will see how they will demand for #100,000 hazard allowance from their employerOh their residency programs to become CONSULTANTS abi? (Assuming what you wrote up there was true). Would JOHESU will be ready to pay for their long years of being around before they eventually get awarded with HONORARY CONSULTANCY too? |
einsteino: no you actually thought i was going to take sides with you. i saw your organogram, i was the first person to click like. now in your organogram patients are the leaders, thats no news... in every business, customers are the boss. why i said i believe it was skewed, is cos an organogram clearly states levels in an industry. yours has nothing of such nature, there is no way that could be called an organogram. i decided to work with it, and used the analogy of the music industry where a singer(in this case doctor) gets all the praises from the fans(patients) meanwhile it takes more than just a singer to produce a great song. with all this, you still chose to sit wherever u are and rain insults on me, that early in the morning. i have fairly given my opinion, and like i said the truth doesn't give an F abt anyones opinion cos the truth remains the truth.Bro, this is one reason i have avoided making any attempt in explaining or educating anyone in these numerous threads. A lot of bitter folks with with deep-seated issues who would not want to even listen to any form of reason. Truth is the government has been grossly incompetent in handling issues within the health sector, exploring our 'cultural greed' as Nigerians (unfortunately trying to be smart by signing separate and antagonising agreements between two disagreeing parties ). All this CMD/CMAC/Director etc rubbish, even if distributed to all fields in the hospital, how many people would ever hold any of such posts throughout their whole carrier? What's so special about any of the posts that's making some peeps want to burst some arteries? Is there a great disparity between the salary of the post holder with that of his professional colleagues? Why, if any exists? What positive impact and development are the members of JOHESU willing to bring to the health sector when accorded the titles and positions they agitate for? And why can't the impact be felt now or should they be referred to as CONSULTANTS and CMDs before we begin to see what stuff they are made of? I think the best solution to this would be privatisation of HealthCare. |
^^^^This is one of the most sensible posts I have seen from a pharmacist on NL. No offiieeeenssee! |
Ethno-Corruption |
From Hospital to Hospital? I believe there are private Hospitals, military Hospitals in Lagos, so which story be this one? R.I.P to the noble lawyer. |
Hmmmm |
Eldavido1: what load of crap!!! Do you know dat Nigerian government pay far less than d recommended world health organisation (WHO) minimum wage for doctors? when our poor neighbours such as Ghana pay far above it. But d average Nigerian doctor has far more patient load than his counter part in other part of the world. But wat do we know....Very True. It's funny that some peeps on NL just choose or pretend to ignore certain facts. |

omotalkie: How about ur "almighty consultant" in antenatal clinic, who prescribed artesunate & Augumentin (two strong drugs) for my sister in her first month pregnancy? I tank God she showed me d prescription b4 proceeding, else it wudve ended in DISASTER! (Wch u knw) u may not even knw sef! Cos pple lyk u don't even knw dia onions, Ure opening ur mouth wide. I smh for uReally? Augmentin? Never knew penicillins should be avoided in the first trimester o! As for the artemisinins, though generally avoided (with no scientific evidence of adverse pregnancy outcome), I would need to know the reason for your cause for alarm. |
It would be preferable all issues are sorted out now, with this strike. |
Afritelly: Those car were the one OBJ bought for civic servants and abandoned in Ikeja Cantonment Barracks and now they are telling us Peugeot roll out car. Where is the factory built in Naija?Coincidentally, I drove past the plant yesterday in Kd and saw a large banner displaying this ride. So please, make attempt to be informed before making public statements. |
I don't believe this piece of news. They've called off the strike by signing yet another agreement? Again? I don't think so! A government that has always failed to honour agreements, is who these ones are signing an additional agreement with. Then tomorrow they'll go on strike, repeating the whole cycle. Though, I don't believe this news. |
Rotjijatau: The following are the things you must do when living in any compound you are living and your respect will remain high...He he he he If you are many sha that leave gifts in the toilet, just donate your own and leave. Shikena! Na play I dey o! Nice write-up. |
Hmmmm |
I wonder why government will dialogue, come to agreement then refuse to keep to their part of the agreement for years. The number of points for strike keep increasing with every strike. You can't keep telling the same people/union to sheathe their swords every single time and still do nothing about their demands. |
