Politics / Re: PDP In Support Of Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina As VP by nanauju(f): 8:01am On Oct 08, 2018

Who is begging Ibos to stay? When you were giving a quit notice what happened? You went begging to UN

The most vocal PDP members are Yorubas, Deji Adeyanju, Fani Kayode, Fayose!! The only noise you make is biafra, no Ibo man can openly criticize APC because of fear and cowardice, all your noise ends on NL. grin

Gbenga Daniel perfected Atiku strategy as his campaign DG

The problem is you make too much hatred your objective of politics

Omo Ibo don’t get me started this morning

Go and support APC, u called pdp regional party, now you're begging pdp for vp. U guys are ridiculous

Politics / Re: PDP In Support Of Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina As VP by nanauju(f): 7:41am On Oct 08, 2018
Yes, most Igbos will never dream of voting for Buhari even with a gun to their forehead, but there are other parties and also an option of boycotting the elections if PDP betrays us and that would be a disaster for Atiku and PDP.
For 16 years of PDP rule, none of the top 2 positions went to the SE despite the unflinching support from the region, now some people are still suggesting rubbish.
I don't know why Yorubas want to reap where they did not sow

Yorubas should better get ready for pdp betrayal. U cannot eat where you didn't sow.

Pdp will betray them because they didn't support them. They should stop begging for vp slot. It's very ridiculous. They already have a vp in osinbajo, face APC don't betray buhari

You will always have that one traitor who always take the side of the capitalists & influencial corrupt old cargoes Against the youths of this nation, So seeing your input, am not surprised.

Thousands apply for a single job opening, so if one refused to show up you can easily find a replacement within the applicants unless of course the spot was never for them in the first place

Lol. I just read your comment and realised that people like you will always blame others for the things you couldn't have or things you get wrong, it will never always be your fault. You're the 'I didn't get the job because I don't know anyone' type.

Why do you think UBA has been recruiting concurrently since early the year? It's to fill in the gap for those that didn't resume work or to just get in the right candidate. Not everyone who passed the test will pass the interviews and get the job. So they need to continually recruit people to cover the number they need in their organisation.
By the way, I got the UBA offer but couldn't resume because I got something better. I was actually referring to myself and I know of some people like me. So before you think of discrediting an organisation, make sure your own house is in order. Thank you

Do you expect construction site to be shunning? Lagos is to congested for road diversion. But the pig republic can return to their red planet and give us some space to build our mega city in peace

For those saying you applied without getting response from them, have you checked if the fault is from u? I know a lot of people who have been been called to their test and interviews. I even know of some people who even didn't resume work after training school because they had better offer.
I'd suggest u go through ur cv again and ensure you meet every of their criteria before applying. All the best

Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeew it's because of girls like this that men feel it's our duty to contribute to the growth of the family not forgetting that we're women and they are meant to look after us our needs and everything thing sad

No please, this should not be the mindset. Its a good thing for them to take care of us, but we need to contribute, it's actually for the good of family and kids. Imagine being married to man who does everything, believe me hun, the way he listens to ur opinion will be totally different from when u bring in something into the family

The more attention she geta ths more ransom these fools would ask for or even refuse to release her. Abeg e don do. The story dat she refused to denounce is all just rooster and bull

Please let there be awareness, so that the government will know how important her life is and not keep mute on this issue. There's nothing like 'more attention'. In fact we need more of it to put leaders into action to get her released. If it was someone you knew nko, will you be talking about rooster and bull story here?
I guess you'd be taking the lead in getting attention

Romance / Re: What Is The Normal Price For A Bride? by nanauju(f): 8:31am On Sep 08, 2018

So is paying for your wife a must in this country? And who then pays for the wedding? Typically in America, in traditional circles, the cost of the wedding is placed on the father of the bride.

I don't know how it's done in USA but Nigeria does not operate a unified traditional system. There are different cultures and traditions here.
Whoever you take as ur bride should be able to put you through her own tradition and marriage custom, because what obtains in one culture, is way different in another, so be prepared for the culture shock.
But in all, I think the man pays for the bride price. How little or big u pay, is dependant on the culture you're getting married to, and offcourse the bride's family play key role determining this.
As for cost of wedding, the man and woman can pull funds together with family members supporting, in the case where the woman is not financially buoyant, and the man is, he can decide to foot the bills
