Jarus, Oya talk , you be offa boy. Can saraki be allowed by the core north to use up a space meant for the core north like the presidency, when they know that he is 100% yoruba?

Insofar as there are younger politicians who are capable of leading this country, they should be represented across the board in the upcoming national elections. The recycling of perennial actors such as Babangida, Atiku, Buhari, Obasanjo over the years seems to suggest that we do not have any other options. It is not in the best interest of this country in anyway for prospective voters not to have the full range of options to choose from.

Within the PDP, Dr. Bukola Saraki probably represents the best and brightest of the younger generation of political leaders. His candidacy, if he chooses to contest is welcome, and nobody can rule out the possibility that he can clinch the presidential ticket of PDP.
some UP LAWAL guys don show o.
Forget it, saraki can not get a northern slot when they know he is yoruba.

And when Amodu said we had average players, alot of Nigerians kept calling the man names, why didn't the good coaches in each of these player's clubs turn them to world class players? why?
Forget that talk, we never had world class players even in 1994,however any good coach should be able to assemble this players and play our unique and highly intelligent brand of football that makes us difficult to beat ,even by the world class teams.

Tell me who was the world class player in 1994?

to be frank, that guy hasn't play any sweet footy since his inception in to the national side. silly boy, kwara united please make a bid angry grin cool
That is untrue. In Korea japan 2002 and mali 2002, he was one of our best players, right from the qualifying rounds till the mundial proper. When he signed for everton, he was named the premiership player of the month in his first four matches. In Korea he played as DM,RB,CB in the three different matches and did excellently.

I think its a good move for him, he will surely have better playing time.

For those saying we no longer have players in the big european clubs, i need to state that even during our best run, we never really had players in big clubs. Aside finidi and kanu in ajax and taribo in inter and AC, Babayaro in chelsea. All our players have played in average or very weak european teams. Oliseh was a benchwarmer when he tried a big club like Juve. bring on your facts.

@ 12large, that's quite rude of you.

On the topic I believe Ikpeba is better than Amokachi and Keshi. Did you see Nduka Ugbade and Taribo West yesterday? They were like yacks-not good enough.

My major problem with Ikpeba is his pronounciations eg
Shelsea instead of Chelsea
West-am instead of West-Ham.
infact these guys always bore me with their analysis. I dont seem to understand the craze for ex-internationals as analyst. They are underperforming. simply lack the necessary intelligence to interpret matches.

Ikpeba for one make speaking english look like a tough weightlifting exercise.
On his pronounciations ---- shelsea, penaity . i was listening to him on brilafm during the semis of SA2010 when he was saying "the OROGWAYS led By forlan can win this match if it gets to penaity shootout".

Saraki does not even belong to the group hausas call banza bakwai. HE WILL NEVER, I MEAN NEVER BE ALLOWED TO TAKE A SLOT MEANT FOR THE CORE NORTH. I MEAN NEVER.

I know you like saraki, but please get real. You have even stated that he is a yoruba man, that settles it.

How many northern governors will queue behind saraki?

Ok answer this question: SARAKI IS A YORUBA MAN, TRUE OR FALSE?
PoliticsRe: The Man Who Might Be King - Bukola Saraki by naso2(m): 1:18pm On Aug 31, 2010
^^^^^^^^^^^
My guy if you dont know this , then you dont understand how Hausa/fulani view things politically.

AWUSA man no go ever allow yoruba man use northern slot when it is known that just a few years back, one yorubaman(OBJ) just left that seat.LAILAI E NO GO HAPPEN. E be like say u no know how mallam dey think.

The sarakis can only feed from the crumbs that fall from the Northern political table. Any attempt to seat at the table and have the big pie like the presidency will be resisted by the north.

Infact if jonathan na sharp man, he is supposed to exploit this loophole and win kwara. how? by inflitrating the northern ranks and giving him(saraki) false hope and drop him at the crucial hour by making him Know that he is a yorubaman when the time comes. He will be so disenchanted that wooing him to GEJ's camp will be far too easy. I somehow still believe that at the right time, OBJ will talk to the father OLUSOLA SARAKI and that is what matters. Na papa get power, pikin just dey ride on papa goodwill.
PoliticsRe: The Man Who Might Be King - Bukola Saraki by naso2(m): 1:02pm On Aug 31, 2010
The north(hausa/fulani) would rather allow jonathan continue than support OLUBUKOLA SARAKI who is a northerner by geographical/political expediency but by every strand a yoruba man.
PoliticsRe: I Have No Deal With Jonathan- Ribadu. by naso2(m): 12:55pm On Aug 31, 2010
How an interview will not talk about ribadu's romance with ACN,tinubu and the likes,
did not talk about the much publicised ACN presidential ticket he his alleged to be considering,
did not talk about his recent exchanges with Pastor tunde bakare ,
but rather talked about a rumoured Vp appointment in GEJ government is what Gbawe claims to be  recent  still baffles me.
PoliticsRe: I Have No Deal With Jonathan- Ribadu. by naso2(m): 10:39am On Aug 31, 2010
@Knowall

Thank you very very much. kai you be real mr knowall. Do you know I almost fell for Gbawe's "wayo" publication before i saw your response. grin grin

@Gbawe

read this again:
Are you going to work with this administration?

I don’t know yet. Honestly, that’s the truth. I have not been offered anything!

Have you spoken with the President?

I have spoken to him severally, but offer is different from speaking.
IF they have spoken severally, who initiates the call? why do you think they were talking?  All EFCC charges were dropped immediately, why? The police commission was unhappy that the president literally forced them to accept ribadu's apology. Why do you think the president was this interested?

If they were talking frequently like ribadu stated, then what do you think was the crux of their discussions , if not to bring Ribadu into his team?

Abeg go google another publication may be that one go help you small tongue tongue

in fact the guy can move higher to even the level of "fomer presidential candidate" afterall we have over 50 parties and about half of them dont have presidential candidates. Even OBJ's estranged wife once contested the presidential election.

ADOGBEYI:
Guys,

Read the handwriting on the wall. The most workable strategy for Jonathan right now is to share Northern votes with IBB by using people like Ayu to split votes in the North. Ayu's interest may be in consonance with Jonathan's stratagem.
Lailai. dis one shi.t no strong reach. He can not get 50,000 votes in the entire country. He just wants to make some noise, get some coins and say he is stepping down for another candidate. I WILL VOTE 4 HIM grin grin

Gbawe:
Na-so , you are a gracious and civilised chap unlike that "agbero" Beaf, but you must understand that even decent folks are losing 'patience' with Jonathan's modus operandi . Whatever next ? Will he go around begging every local government chairman? He is the President , wether by design or accident . For god sake he should act like it !!!Mikeansy is a decent chap IMO and I think he speaks correctly about Jonathan. He fails to declare to run until every obstacle has been bulldozed , fairly and unfairly, out of his way !!! He signs the electoral act and we are now reading that he plans to appeal against sections of the act that disqualify his appointees from voting as delegates in the PDP primaries as I stated on another thread he will attempt to do (remember?). To make thing totally worse Jonathan , just to actualise a very difficult ambition, is shamelessly collecting a criminal following that Al Capone will view with admiration.

As a Yoruba man I do not wan't Jonathan to win because it is clear he believes in buying and paying for support. That would translate into criminals like Oni, Oyinlola, Daniel and Alao Alaka getting four more years to continue their ruination of the SW region !!!! It was only recently we saw Jonathan's rigging antics in Ekiti alongside Dora Akunyili in direct testimony to how , precisely like OBJ, Jonathan does not care about ruining the developmental prospects of a region as long as he gains what he want's !!!! How will Jonathan ever fight corrution when all of those accused of looting Nigeria dry through various corrupt deeds are all GEJ's benefactors? Is it not only yesterday that this nation gained a President (Yar Adua) who virtually stalled the war against corruption because he was friend and godson to the most corrupt Nigerians alive?

Please try to understand what everyone is saying and forget your region of origin for once. Corruption is our biggest problem as a nation and no Nigerian , from past and present actions of Mr.President plus his association and body language , can say confidently that Jonathan is serious about tackling graft. You can announce all the laudable plans in the world but if the will to fight corruption is missing then Nigeria will continue to drift. Period.
Was GEJ in charge during the ekiti elections? He was only mandated by his boss UMYA to help oni do some PR during the pre-election campaign. The guber elections where he was fully in charge as acting president was in Anambra. Now tell me was the Anambra elections rigged? if not why have refrained from giving some credit to GEJ for that? You see the bias I often complain about?
