Dear Nairalands,

Please I want to apply for masters in business/finance related courses. I majored in Insurance & risk management (Bsc) and works in a financial institution. I need schools that may not require GMAT/GRE score for admission.

Please!

I already got the confirmation from the bank and sent it to the school but they said they have not received the payment yet
You need not to panic, however the delay concerning. sometimes delays of this nature can be experienced in the course of remitting funds through wire payment. But if the beneficiary bank has not received the fund after 3working days and/or has not contacted your bank on their inability to apply the fund in the Beneficiary's Account. At this point instruct your bank to activate "tracer", in order to locate where the fund is and possibly recall the fund if the challenge can't be resolved. Note that this service (tracer or recall) comes at a cost.

Good morning my people and gurus in the house.

A Foundation gave a me a bursary of 2million naira, payable (to me) in four installments if my Study Visa is approved.

Can the Bursary Offer letter support my study Visa application?

Are there other documents in addition to the Bursary Letter, I should request from the Foundation?

Thanks

Thanks for the amazing compliments about me and best wishes. It couldn't have been made possible without the presence of the honourable members of this platform. So I appreciate you all for the opportunity to contribute my quota on this thread.

In retrospect to your enquiry about financial sponsorship documents to be prepared by the church. I would enumerate the below information;

1. Certificate of Incorporation (shortlisting the names of the Trustees in the church).

2. Letter of Sponsorship.

3. Financial Resources (Six (6) months bank statement of the church).

4. Resolution letter (declaring their awareness and agreement to sponsor your education in Canada).

5. Bank Reference letter supporting the statement of account.

6. Proof that you're a bonafide member of the church (ID card and reference letter from the organization you belong to in the church as well as pictures with your fellow members in the church).

7. Payment of the entire tuition fees from the church bank account, and highlighting the date on the SOA.

8. A domicilary account in your name showing transfer/deposit of equivalent $10,000CAD from the church in support of your annual living expenses.

The above documents should be sufficient to demonstrate their ability to finance your studies in Canada.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out here.

It will end in praise.

Hello house, please what are the documents I have to go to the bank with for tuition payment? The school said I should use western union business solution, is it possible in Ecobank? Or how can I go about it please
Thanks for your reply
Generated payment advice using CIBC INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PAY. Take it to Ecobank, attach your Acceptance Letter, Fee schedule/demand, your Intl passport and your Degree Certificate if you are going for Graduate study. At the bank you fill out Form A form and execute FX purchase agreement.

Lekiboboe:
Happy Sunday to you all

I wanna ask what this means ,
(based on whether an Applicant who got AIP should defer or wait till he/she gets a Visa decision bfor Deferring).
NB:Program only available for Sept INTAKE., and Program has started alrdy for Fall 2020

The Applicant got a mail from the school which goes thus,

Please see the IRCC instruction on this

DEFERRED ENROLMENT

After a study permit application is submitted (150 days or less)
If less than 150 days have passed since the intended program start date, officers should continue to process the study permit application.

After a study permit application is submitted (more than 150 days)
If more than 150 days have passed since the intended program start date, officers should request a new letter of acceptance from the applicant to confirm if the student has deferred their enrolment to a later date. Officers should follow the instructions concerning Requests for additional documents on open applications and allow 90 days for the applicant to respond "

My Question now is,

With the above mail from the skool, Is it safe not to defer yet until 150 days is complete starting from the program Start Date (which is September 8 ) and 150 days from that date is around early February 2021.

Thanks...
In my view, the student should contact the school's international/advisory unit for clarification and proper guidance.

Cos he said he will be submitting her studypermit Application on Friday before he got this message today
Send a PM

pls I don't understand your message,? For the form A , when he requested from bank, they requested bank details of the school which was not yet known
Kindly open this link https://pay.cibc.com/payment/#/StudentPay click on login, then select your school from the drop down. Then proceed to generate a payment advice, submit same with the other documents required from your bank to pay your fees through Form A. The cross currency rate using by most banks as at Monday was $0.7745/CAD.
