pepe1:After payment to WES |
gracelevel:Grace to be honest, I don't think this is an issue, many people have given various views on this. Not all schools have DOB on their transcripts. Just go ahead and submit your request for verification or if you are still in doubt, check if there is an email address or phone number you can contact the Evaluation Services you are using and ask them. |
sugah:All I did this morning was print and fill out the form from WES, sent it as an email attachment to the Registry office in my former Uni, got response within 15mins, transcript has already been picked up by courier service and on its way to WES (the school emailed back to inform me). I am sure all diffrent departmental contacts will be on the 'Contact us@ page of the school's website. I am sure it is the same process for online Masters, after all na the same certificate classroom based people collect ![]() Hope this is helpful? Cheers |
gracelevel:ABU Zaria (Undergrad), UK (Masters). I am only assessing my Masters degree and have only submitted my document for Assessment to WES. Thanks |
Cakay:It is clearly stated on the Website that a job bank profile is optional, but then what is the harm. If you are able to get a job then all the better and higher chances for you I will suppose. So if you want to give it a shot, I will advise you do so. Planning to do so as soon as my profile is set up. Cheers |
gracelevel:Hi Grace, I don't think Transcripts have a DOB on them, to be honest your question prompted me to check two of mine just now and none of them has DOB on them. The most important dates on a transcript should be start and end dates of your programme. Well anybody will a contrary view should advise further. Thanks |
balogunsam:Thanks again bro, Godspeed to us all, I can read you have gotten AOR. Great! it will definitely end in PRAISE |
balogunsam:Very good response and also helpful Depending on how soon you want to start the process, I will advise to write IELTS (General) as soon as possible as these exams get filled up quickly and there are usually specified dates in a month to write them. Wishing all of us the very best |
balogunsam:Thanks so much for your response and I am a sister o . I was just overwhelmed with all the many pages . But I am on it already, I have now paid for WES verification and sent the form to my school so I am sure they will get on that once they resume this morning, glad I can use only the Masters as the stress of dealing with Nigerian Registry offices is better left to be imagined. |
OYASALOF:Thanks alot |
Good day house, Oh wow! so many pages, don't even know where to start from. I am hoping to start my express entry application this week as I am awaiting my IELTS result from 20th Jan. Please advise or point me to the relevant pages. I just need guidance on what to do and how to go about it. I have four continuous years experience in Business Development, I have a BSc and Masters degree. Will really appreciate any guidance please. Considering the time it might take to verify my Undergraduate degree from Nigeria, is it better to just indicate only my masters degree which was from the UK when filling the form? Many thanks. |
Check the Aviation School in Zaria |
Dear OP, please and please stop beating the boy unnecessarily. Please take him for proper evaluation, he might have some behavioural challenges eg mild ADHD and can only be properly diagnosed by the right professionals. Also he spends too much time in school for his age. To be honest with you, it is unacceptable for a 4 year old to be out of the house for over 12 hours, which I'm sure about 10 hours of those hours are spent in school. It is mentally stressful for the young boy. You have to look into this issue and treat it as a matter of urgency. |
OP, there are many options of putting your written work out there. Have you heard of Okada Books?? It is a book reading app on the android platform that is mainly focused on African more specifically Nigerian authors. It is founded by Okechukwu Ofili, maybe you should try and get in touch with him to see how you can get your written work out there. Cheers |
OP, I didn't go through all the replies, so I am not sure if someone has given this advise. But here goes; The main source of your problems is your financial assistance to your family. As co-owners of your company, do you both have set monthly salaries or do you both just spend money from the company's account? If your answer to the first question is no, I will advise you work with an accountant and set a monthly/annual income/salary for yourselves. That way each of you has a monthly income and from your own income, you can assist you family financially. One of the biggest mistakes most business owners make is having a clear cut income for their staff but not themselves. When you have a monthly income and you know that is the only money available to you for your personal spending and other things, you will plan better and have less issues with other co-owners. |
Making semo, maize meal, poundo yam, wheat flour, plantain flour etc in the microwave. Bye bye to soaking caked pots and waiting for them to soften in order to wash them. Food is served in 5 minutes max. ![]() |

justi4jesu: Rent out the 3 bedroom flat, use part of the money to rent a self contain and then invest the rest into Business.Or he could as well rent out two of the bedrooms and stay in one. See money making venture, the OP is busy collecting pocket money from his parents and the only reasonable thing he can think of is to marry. I wonder what he intends to use to take care of an entire human being when he is still depending on others. OP, what other money spinning skills do you have apart from your degree that you almost can't gain an employment with without NYSC certificate? Please OP re-prioritise your life o. Cheers |
A man who can cook and knows his way around the kitchen is definitely a man after my heart. Such a man isn't a threat to my culinary skills in any way. |
I will advise you go for the second job, reason being that they are offering to give you some professional training that will be useful in the future and also enabling you save money for professional development as well, and there is the assured financial benefit as well as other fringe benefits (such as health insurance and a pension, which at this point are very crucial factors to be considered in any job offer). Let me quickly add though, set your goals and also a time limit ie how long you will want to stay on the job and with the company, it also seems like it is a company that will easily afford you opportunities to progress career wise. So you can tell yourself for eg, I will work with these people for like 3 years, and see how you can progress from there, I will reckon that by then you would have also progressed career wise and in your professional development as well. Cheers. |
Good day, Please I am in dire need of current and genuine Oracle Database 11g SQL IZ0-051 dumps. Please can anyone who has let me know so we can discuss. Many thanks. |
Is complan suitable for babies/toddlers? I am not very sure. You might want to check that out before you go ahead with it. What kinds of food have you tried? You and wify will have to try everything triable o; mashed potatoes, mashed rice, fish stew, custard, pap (I hate pap being given to babies, but now there is no choice), pureed fruits, cerelac (other baby cereal), tombrown, in fact there are too many varieties. There will definitely be something he will like. You can't give up, keep trying any and everything you can lay your hands on food wise. It will cost you money but will be worth it in the long run. Fussy babies are a great test of your patience and long suffering. |
I have heard something similar to this story before. I laugh at people who say a Tiv man will give you his wife to sleep with. Such ignorance!! A typical Tiv man is very possessive, if you want come near his wife, death is calling your name o. Even if he and his wife are punching each other per second per second, just stay clear because he will clear the doubts of any man who will see that as an advantage to encroach. About the generosity, withholding food from people is one of the highest taboos in Tiv land, because a Tiv man believes that there are higher powers that make the land fertile so why should you withhold what you have no control over. Tiv people still eat outside most times in the middle of their compounds, this signifies community living, it encourages any body who is passing by to come join in eating, no need for invitations. Till today when I visit my grandparents, we all still eat outside o. The problem we have with de-bunking this wrong information that has been passed down from generation to generation is the complete lack of written history. Perhaps the most detailed written account I have come across of the Tiv was that written by Bohana Bohana (a white anthropological couple who did a study of the Tiv people), but how dependable is an account of an outsider on ones people. There have been bits and pieces written by some Tiv scholars but nothing which holds water, so all we have are oral accounts which are becoming sketchy and watered down as the years go by, because the custodians of culture are all dying off and not passing down this knowledge, after all which young person wants to be a custodian of culture when he can go do a white collar job in the cities? So young men who want to go to Tiv land because they will give you their wives to sleep with BEWARE, so that they don't use you as manure to grow yam o. I rest my case ![]() |
You don't book a day for collection, they will let you know what day to come back and collect the passport when it is ready, or alternatively, you can pay for delivery and they will send it next day signed for delivery. You can also send somebody to collect it for you as long as you give the person an authorisation letter and all necessary documents. |
cryptography: My cousin has been dating this really great guy, the bombshell dropped when he said he is an atheist...... she is quite a bit of a religious fellow, and is very confused. It's in matters like this that people need to exercise their personal principles. There is nothing anybody will tell her, what are her principles and convictions? If she has been dating him, what did she think will come out of it? Well choice is hers to make. |
RTFM So sorry to hear about your loss and I know that there are no words people will speak to you that will be enough, and nobody can really fully understand what you are going through, but I pray that God's peace and comfort will be with you at every moment. Remember the good memories and hold unto them dearly, cry whenever you feel like it, scream do whatever when it feels like you just need to let off the pain. It will take a while but as the days go by, you will gradually begin to experience serenity. I know people can only ever be there for you for a short period of time because everyone needs to get on with life, but hey! talk to God, have normal everyday heart to heart conversations with Him and also this is the time to get involved in some of the things you always wanted to do; play golf, tennis, take that trip, maybe go spend sometime in the countryside, travel round Nigeria (we have got beautiful places; and that is assuming you are in Nigeria) or just generally try out new things for the fun of it to take you mind off the grief sometimes. It is not easy and won't be easy to start this process but everything gets easier with time. Praying for peace and calm for you. |
This is one of the reasons that makes me laugh when people say religion or even church denomination differences don't matter in marriage. Imagine how long your parents have been married and they still can't deal with this, your mom getting abused is a really sad situation. The truth of the matter is if your father can't see reason with her then she should just go back to attending catholic Church, am sure all he is concerned about is her church attendance which might be once a week. Nothing stops her from engaging in pentecostal church activities, like watching TBN, using their devotionals or even attending occasional progs as well as praying the way pentecostals pray as long as she keeps it within reason. This is very practical else your parents will keep fighting over such a trivial matter. Your mum knew your dad's family was a staunch catholic one before she married into it or if she was a catholic before she changed, she was well aware of your dad's or his family's stand on catholicism. I understand these things crop up years down the line but she needs to apply wisdom. Church matter shouldn't be what should cause such huge problems if she handles this issue with wisdom. |
Lol I still say "thank you" to whoever gives me food after eating. Not limited to just my parents or family, but friends as well. Some people really get angry over this though and I have never understood why. |
Mind your own business. When you have your own wife, you can determine what happens in your own home and what is proper or not. What is it with all these yeye men discussing their sex lives with their wives to friends sef! Abi OP are you a shrink? #rollingEyes Mtsheeeew. |
OP, Will you be staying in campus or off campus accommodation? One thing is for sure, you will not have classes/ lectures everyday and even on days you have lectures, it will just be for a few hours depending on your course. So for those times, you can get a child minder to look after her at your place. Don't know where in the UK you will be but I am also sure you can get creches that can have her for a few hours a day. But just be aware that all these options are quite expensive. But that is your best bet if you don't have any family or friends that can look after her while you are in school. Or find out from your school if they have any such facilities. Some schools have them. Cheers |
@ OP, The solution to your problem is very simply, since you work and don't have time to cook despite the fact that you can, I hope you know there are people who provide catering services for the likes of you busy bachelors, you simply tell them what kind of soup you want, what type of meat you want in it etc. They will cook like 2 different types of soups for you and stew as well. I think they may be also willing to cook beans and jellof rice, moi moi and stuff like, they do that and you stock up your fridge, you come back from work and just microwave and eat. Easy life, if you must eat properly prepared food and your girlfriends can't cook it, pay someone else to do it for you. That way you don't need to have a live in maid. I am suggesting this hoping your main issue in this post is about you eating well. As you stay in PH, I don't know how you can get any of these kinds of caterers sha, but I know if you ask around, you will find. It might even just be someone who does it on a small scale in their homes. But just ask around, someone will surely know someone who knows someone. ![]() Cheers |
