yeah, 2face na big time flop . but at list him songs ,don better pass dbanj "oyato"
Please, leave Dbanj out of this. How can you be comparing a current Mtv base Best African Act award winner to someone that's trying to keep up? Dbanj is on a class of his own AT THE MOMENT. |
ORAFA: 2face lost N40million to MISMANAGEMENT at his studio, not because of poor music. It seems sum of u 2face critics are to used to traditional music sang at the various local pubs or taverns in ur village. 2face renders VERY GOOD music. What do you mean by mismanagement in his studios? What sort of studio mismanagement will make one lose 40 million naira? If he had lost such a big amount to the so called studio mismanagement, a good albulm sales would have at least made up for it. Unfortunately, that albulm was a big flop. It might not have even sold up to 50,000 copies. My friends that have the albulm didn't buy it, they were dashed. |
Pastor Sam Adeyemi....Good analytical ability TB Joshua....makes the bible simple Tunde Bakare......Brilliant! @OP, it is "IMPART" and not "IMPACT". The latter is a noun and refers basically to physical contacts. We could say man's impact(noun) on the environment as well as an E.g. In the context of this thread, IMPART is the right word to use. |
Which hot song wey 2face don realise since him comot kennis music? Almost all the songs na flop, apart from implication, rain drops and ihe neme . Besides his album hasn't sold up to a million copies since he left kennis.
A million copies? I don't think his Hypertech albulm sold up to 100,000 copies. Tuface said he lost 40 million plus. |
Padi Padi is always too much at the Headies or whatever. That is why Dbanj, Psquare, Weird MC and co stopped attending in the past.I am very sure Dbanj wasn't there to collect the award. If Psquare went then they must have specially begged them to attend. What song won Wande Coal the best vocal award? Or they just gave it to him cos of his natural voice. How can Wizkid be the Revelation of the year? |
^^^@Jarus, so, this is where you are hiding. You posted something you could not defend in the other thread that last time about Prof. Gabriel Oyibo and then absconded. Well done! Dem don dey find you for there o. ![]() |

@OP, please read the points raised below carefully and attend to them as appropriately as you can if you feel otherwise.
SEX SEX SEX! Unlike what many people think, its not just an act. Its not just a pleasure thing. Believe me "sex" is a covenant. Believe me "sex" is binding. Whatever the world, the society, the devil and friends must have said to u about sex, know one thing today that there is a blood covenant that is share during sex, its spiritual & most people are not aware of it.
The above argument means that s.ex goes beyond the physical and that it is spiritual. According to what you said, what makes it spiritual is the inter-mixed blood and fluid which you term as a COVENANT.
When u sleep with anyone, your are binded and a covenant is entered into unknowingly. If u sleep with a possessed person or cursed person, u have shared in that curse, its a FACT. If u sleep with someone who belongs to an occult,u are initiated automatically and they will begin to act in your life, knowingly to u or unknowingly to u.
By the first argument, the reason for the binding and covenant up here is the blood/ fluid exchange during s.ex. What this means, according to your argument is that, there cannot be a binding or covenant without a blood exchange that occurs during se.x. The question is, what if there was no exchange of fluid/ blood by using condoms? In the olden days, there was no such thing as condoms hence, facilitating the exchange. Imagine what the effect of HIV/AIDS would be like without condoms, a direct exchange of the disease and other STDs. Except if you meant that the exchange of blood is independently and totally spiritual and not physical then spiritual. If this is the case, your post is null because it will be that one could get into a covenant even when a cursed person touches one. Moreover, you said when one sleeps with a cursed person or a person that has other bad things, one get those things as well due to the covenant nature of se.x. By this argument, one should be blessed when one sleeps with a blessed person as well. The question is, how do we now determine who is blessed and who is cursed?
Its important u watch who u give your body to.Its not just about sex. Destinies are switched, life's are cut short, people become wayward and keeps going, others become agents against their own family unknowingly.
The argument above says that, due to the different switches of destinies, curse etc that occur during s.ex, we should watch carefully before we give our bodies to someone. So, you are not against having s.ex with anyone. The keyword is to watch carefully. Hmmmmm Since, there is always a destiny switch, when one sleeps with one's wife, there is a switch. In other words, a husband will share all the ancestral curses on his wife and vice- versa if there is.Do married people enjoy a special immunity to such exchange of destinies that you claim or they get it as well?
The bible says "no ye not that whom ever gives his body to a p.rostitute has become one with her" Be careful, your problem is within u. Sex is more spiritual than physical..
How can you explain the above statement ? What does it mean to be one with someone? Do you know that you can be one with someone in different ways. It could be physically, mentally, culturally, as a team, morally etc. What if the oneness referred to was just to say, "you become birds of a feather" from a moral stance? When I saw some people label your post as rubbish, I was not surprised cos you failed to do a thorough work before pasting this. This is Nairaland and not Dummyland. You cannot post just anything and expect everyone to just swallow it particularly when such post is devoid of relevant and well structured facts to back it up.I will suggest you go back to your bible and pastor and ask for a proper explanation before you post or ask God for a proper understanding. Don't get me wrong, I am very much against pre marital sex. I am an advocate of TOTAL ABSTINENCE but claiming there is a covenant to sex.ual relationship based on the points raised by the you (the OP) is an invalid argument. Maybe, if I see a better explanation to it, I might agree. A lil advice for guys, if you cannot wait till the right time, use protection e.g condoms to avoid an exchange of blood/ fluid and NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER you leave a used condom with anyone particularly strangers like wh.ores so that your fluid will not be retrieved and used for evil purposes. It is well! |

paris10: Aren't you taught that being honoured a doctorate degree has nothing to do with going to school? You don't even need to have an SSCE or WAEC to get one.Not all Honorary degrees are usually paid for. Okay? And you do not necessarily need to be a Celebrity to get one.It is sometimes given to those who have distinguished themselves in their fields of endervour as well. Some people have the authentic Phd degree as well as several Honorary degrees. Although, some politicians in Nigeria may pay for it, it is not to say that one must pay for it. @OP, change that header to 'Honorary' Doctorate degree and use 'honorary' in the right places as well in the news. A Phd degree no be beans o, so, the type of Doctorate degree neeeds to be specified when appropriate. |
semid4lyfe: True but Yaya Toure, Cheick Tiote and other midfielders don't have Mikel's game controlling ability.Honestly speaking, Mikel's talent is so so amazing. Despite the fact that he shared the midfield with inexperienced players in that game against Liberia, he still patched everything together. I love his tailor made, well measured killer passes like the long range up through pass he sent to one of the strikers(not Victor,Musa,IK) during that game all the way from midfield but the striker was so surprised that he couldn't handle the ball.lolz. I guess he is not used to such passes.Even the aerial pass he gave to Victor Moses for that header wasn't an ordinary cross, it was an aerial through ball in which the ball would have descended and would be right in front of the player's head. There is no basis for comparing Mikel to Yaya Toure and co cos their style of play is totally different.I believe if our Midfield is very potent, Nigeria should go far. We have strikers that can do the damage. My other fear is the defence. |
Jarus: FavouritesNice analysis! |
What a Corporate fraud! |
This thread is just too childish. Is the OP a teenager? I mean, just look at the topic.......FOR ALL THOSE SAYING SAMSUNG AREN'T COPYING APPLE......Childish stuff. This is what Hon Patrick would describe as JOBLESS JOBLESSNESS. |
That Lagos state Police PRO, Mrs Ngozi Braide is a bloody liar and her attitude is so disgusting. There is nothing on earth that she would have heard of, she is always claiming she is unaware of even the most basic and well circulated info. Is that the dictate of her Profession? RUBBISH!!!!!!!! |
exxell: Who is AY?A man that likes to call a spade a spade by saying the truth but unfortunately, most people hate the truth in Nigeria as Truth, they say, is bitter. |
Jarus: Gabriel Oyibo is another intellectual fraud like Emegwali. I should be proud of him, attending same secondary school, but hey.Can you pls shed more light on this ambiguous statement of yours? I see you have checked the net and you have read that report by Sahara reporters saying both of them are intellectual 419s simply based on the fact that Emeagwali claims to have 41 patents though unpublished and there is another report that Gabriel Onyibo was nominated 4 times for the nobel prize in Physics. The said reporter contacted the Organisers of the awards and was told that they do not reveal a list of the nominees and it is only after 50 years after the award that one can know who the nominees were . It was so glaring from the writer's report that he is so pained by the fact that Gabriel's image was put on Nigeria's postal stamp in 2005/2006. The jealous writer was even so angry at the way both great men are so so respected and honoured. It was purely beef instinct and jealousy. Infact, how does those claims translate to being an intellectual fraud? An intellectual fraud should be when one steals other people's idea and claim to be one's while using such ideas to gain fame, promotion, respect, recognition etc and not when one does a mild hyping or ego boosting. It was a pity to see that you only read the article in a biased way. You couldn't even notice the degrading intents of the writer. See, nothing can change the fact that both Phillip Emeagwali and Gabriel Oyibo are gifted and anointed scholars, two of the finests to ever emerge from this continent called Africa. If I may ask, do you know that Prof. Oyinbo has proved that, BY THE DEFINITION OF AN ELEMENT, ONLY HYDROGEN DESERVES TO BE CALLED AN ELEMENT? Trust the whites, they know better now but they are so ashamed to say and admit that what they initially propounded was wrong. #Let us learn to give honour to whom it is due# Here is a link to the senseless article http://mobile.saharareporters.com/article/intellectual-419-philip-emeagwali-and-gabriel-oyibo-compared And here is a good response by a reader to the nonsense that was written; Following the Emeagwali article in which Oyibo was mentioned, I had requested that SR produce evidence linking Prof Oyibo to intellectual fraud. I had expected something in the nature of plagiarism, claims of nonexistent qualifications and publications etc. I am really shocked that Prof Oyibo has published so extensively. In an attempt to diminish the value of his intellectual achievements, you claim that though records show he has 104 publications, Zentrallblat and Nova Journal of Maths published about ten, and thus, the others were not in recognised journals! You people really frightening! Prof Oyibo is a mathematician, and I am sure he could publish in other science journals apart from mathematics. Does that mean that those other journals are not recognised because they are not mathematical journals? Does it mean that those publications cease to be Oyibo's just because they appeared in non-mathematical journals? You claimed Prof Oyibo is now jobless, but in one of the links you provided, you actually admit that he is now a Professor in a "minor" university! I am sure you know what it takes to establish a university. It may not be an Ivy League, but does that make it any less a university? Does that disqualify its academic staff from regarding their tenures as jobs? This is very disgraceful! I am not surprised therefore that you guys at SR are having a herculean task producing such evidence to back your allegations that Oyibo is an intellectual fraud, because non exists. If Prof Oyibo has health problems (psychiatric)as you subtely suggest, is it new? Is he the first academic to suffer such problems? What is your motive? what do you hope to achieve by trying to tarnis the guy's image? If you have an ax to grind with the man why not do so without trying to impugn his academic credentials or is this pure envy as I suspected from day one when SR published the Emeagwali article and mentioned Prof Oyibo? Since when did it become a crime to make scientific claims? Claims had always been made and will continue to be made - such claims are either confirmed or debunked by subsequent research. I am not a scientist, but that is the whole essence of scholarship; that's how the frontiers of knowledge constsantly expands, boundaries are pushed, some times from seemingly "absurd" claims. And did you say Professor Oyibo just made a new discovery? NB: If you want your head on a Nigerian postage stamp then go make your own discoveries or outrageous claims too. |

Awake9ja: Anybody who says that fashola is right is really not honest. Sincerely speaking let's turn the table the other way, "what if that statement is coming out from babangida or sarduana of sokoto " will my bros from the west ever blv it's right. You made some very good points but let me quickly say that, those who say Fashola is right only said that based on their personal analysis with respect to the issue raised and not because Fashola is from the West. The message is the most important thing and not one's location or origin. |
KINGwax: now my friend, i see you're jes a fashola-asss-kicker! I respect d man though, and also a lagosian but he is fuckin stagnant there!Hahahahahahahaha. Are you sure the constitutional ammendment can be as stiff as those ones you mentioned up there( Particularly the point 3) with all the Thieves we have at the helm of affairs? I doubt! |
Thanks natural waves.
You're welcome sir! |
Again, Fashola is showing He is light years into the future than His peers The summary of what Fashola has said is this: If you like have the most perfect rules in a home, if a child does not have a mind set to live by those rules in the home, the rules in themselves are useless! First, We, Nigerians have to recognize in ourselves that obeying the laws of the land is not an option, it is a MUST. The developed Western nations today have constitutions that are no near perfect, but what has made them look civilized (in comparison to us) is simply the fact that the people of these nations have the mind set that the constitution is there to be respected and obeyed. Peter Obi's reason appear to come across that it is more state creation that would resolve the poverty and negligence befalling the region. Even if you give a zone (like the South East) 20 states, with the greediness, corruption and ineptitude in the land, the people will still end up worse off! The constitution ay not be perfect, but if the people chose to live by it, over time, amendments can be made to it to correct any anomaly. Did Qaddafi of Libya need any perfect constitution to give the people the high quality of life that even most western nations wished they could give their citizens?
Well said! |
naptu2: They didn't exactly disagree. I think the disagreement part was just a bid by the journalist to hype the story. I agree with both of them.I initially thought some of those that made previous comments before yours read a cascaded version of the news with the way some interpretations were going. Your intelligent write up provided a new shape and direction to the debate. Bravo! |
We have a wrong understanding of what a constitution is supposed to accomplish . It is a protocol for social order, in the absence of which the society will be consumed by chaos. We have had about four or five different constitutions between 1960 and now and our chaotic ways have gotten worse with each new constitution amendment. Traffic lights are a protocol for behavior and rights of access at road intersections. Their operation is accurately timed and synched to correspond with traffic demands. Their precision is not what makes them effective, rather.....their effectiveness is dependent on whether drivers obey what the light asks of them. Accidents and chaos at intersections are not caused by the lights......we dont go around changing road lights because of accidents....but we continue to educate road users on safety when approaching intersections and lights generally. I agree with Fashola.
Your traffic light analogy was a perfect one. You couldn't have illustrated it better. Well done! |
bisiswag: Oh please they employ peeps to construct their thoughts for them and then they proofread.Bad argument. You talk as if you know his speech writer. Does the fact that one can employ someone to write a letter for one mean that any Celebrity's speech/ letter must be written by others? You got a poor logic. Moreover, AY is a graduate, so this letter is not too much beyond him. If you do not have any Proof to show that the letter wasn't written by him, just STFU and read. |
Before AY made the said joke, I was even joking with my lil cousin about the promise and fail attitude of Keke and D1 during the Grammies only for them to repeat same. They are always doing back stage interviews.Do they think Nigerians are m.orons and we don't know? Of course, we all know but AY has said it on our behalf. If you read AY's letter very well, you will see that he is not sorry for anything.Very intelligent write up. He was pretending to be apologising and then he was blasting them simultaneously. This AY na bad guy o. One thing is clear in all.......TRUTH, THEY SAY, IS BITTER. I am very sure Kenny and D1 won't try to repeat such next time. They will try their possible best to get in at the next Grammies and if they wouldn't be going in, they won't promise what they can't do next time. Talk about a comedian being an agent of change, talk about AY. Thumbs up bro! |

Maximus85: Don't criticize like this. There is a message in the song, and the message is how to kill music. The producer should be jailed for ever.Guy,guy...You bad gan o. LWTMB. |
sunnshyn: Tonto did what she feels like doing and you and your cohorts dare judge her?Nobody is judging her. Critical observations were only made concerning those sh.its she called music. sunnshyn: Who are you by the way? What has this question got to do with the context of what we are saying? I never said she is a Nobody, so, why ask who I am? Pls, ask a more sensible quesion next time. sunnshyn: She doesn't try to impress anyone and that's what burns you and your kind. She doesn't try to impress anyone and she went on to release songs to the public? I think you've been watching too much of Tonto Dikeh's movies such that you've been skipping Logic Classes. Why don't she just record something on a CD and play it to herself in her house since she is not trying to impress? Even if I do not have it on my phone, I might come across it on Radio which could spoil the remainder of my day anytime. It is better she impresses herself in the right way. sunnshyn: No, you should go re-read the junk you wrote and come back to me..I am very very sure you are yet to even listen to any of the tracks. Come back here and share your view after you must have listened. |
I missed the debate but this Transcript has really helped.@OP, Thanks! |
