1. I do get your point. It's true, he may come up with his own plan and be successful.....and I'd just commented that I don't want to be misunderstood of not giving Fashola his due....far from it.
2. My point is simple about a system that works. Few years from now, we'll be discussing less about Fashola or Tinubu, but the system.
3. I was Finishing my first degree back then when Tinubu announced putting together a crack team to come up with the Lagos blue print, and you know as students then we read the blue print and dissected it. In that blue prints BRT was there, the PPP power project Fashola did and doing was there, In fact strong emphasis was made on Lagos generating its own power to draw investments, commerce and SMEs viability. Waste Management was there and a whole lot of stuffs. The composition of that committee itself was "intimidating"
4. That Fashola continued and his refining that blue print lend credence to the arguement that the success of a leader his highlighted in the success of his successor. We will not appreciate the full value of the work Fashola has done now till God willing he hands over to a capable, qualitative and proven leader with a well composed team, that will outdo his accomplishment, continuing his programs and bring out the best in them.

Did you guys know that on Fashola's first term, ACN picked most of his commissioners for him; yet they gave a good account of themselve. On his second term, he told Tinubu to allow him pick most of his cabinet. Guess what, Tinubu oblige him, that he's earned it. Today he has a formidable crack team.
