He had an accident in 1996 in his Benz car after Nigeria's Olympic triumph. It was a back related injury. He is so lucky to even be walking. I guess he was adviced to stop anything that could strain his back such as goal keeping and that was the end of his footballing career.He had to go back to his books (Thank God he went to school before the accident).He is still alive. Thank God!

This PDP is really a confused party. If I may ask, how many factions of the party are in Ondo state ? Which of the factions is Vanguard referring to? And how big is the faction? (Poor Journalism). That aside, the said faction wants to deflect to Labour Party and support Mimiko due to feelings of insecurity, fear of the unknown.....They have even condemned their own candidate, Olusola Oke even before the elections by saying ' He cannot fly in the coming election' . In other words, they were quick to sense intending failure and decided to quickly team with a candidate that has a better chance than their own candidate just for fringe benefits. Hmmmmm......This is what is called CHOP CHOP POLITICS. What a shame!


The state faction of the PDP is also calling on Mimiko to team up with PDP. Of course, that's impossible! PDP is a party full of deceits and back biters (The only language they understand is money). The words that came out from the mouths of their sweet coated candidate is nothing to be taken seriously. The guy was reeling his intents if elected into power as if he was describing how to prepare jollof rice. Lolz. No wonder Mimiko yabbed him by saying, he was taking the debate like a secondary school debate that Governance is more than sweet words and crammed lines.


The question is, what is the impact of this deflection on the upcoming election? It is a total loss of points to the PDP. It is a total Plus for Labour party and it could be a plus or a minus for the ACN depending on the quantity of people in the said faction.


In all, one thing is sure, it is going to be a big battle between LABOUR and ACN. I just can't wait for Saturday!

There are alot of other roads that's been tarred. Even in Agege LG for example, 70% of the streets av been tarred with good drainages.Unbelievable!! Do they tarr streets in other states? 2. My point is simple about a system that works. Few years from now, we'll be discussing less about Fashola or Tinubu, but the system.

I was Finishing my first degree back then when Tinubu announced putting together a crack team to come up with the Lagos blue print, and you know as students then we read the blue print and dissected it. In that blue prints BRT was there, the PPP power project Fashola did and doing was there, In fact strong emphasis was made on Lagos generating its own power to draw investments, commerce and SMEs viability. Waste Management was there and a whole lot of stuffs. The composition of that committee itself was "intimidating"
4. That Fashola continued and his refining that blue print lend credence to the arguement that the success of a leader his highlighted in the success of his successor. We will not appreciate the full value of the work Fashola has done now till God willing he hands over to a capable, qualitative and proven leader with a well composed team, that will outdo his accomplishment, continuing his programs and bring out the best in them.

Bottom line, Lagos was blessed with a visionary and capable governor like Tinubu and the same Tinubu blessed us with another visionary and capable governor. It's a win win situation for Lagosians..


Tinubu was aware of many of his aids, many people within the party and their capabilities, but the fact that he picked FASHOLA means Tinubu is man with great foresight and wisdom.

We are all still saying the same thing. What I meant in all was that Fashola is equally filled with Vision and great leadership skills as well. The laid down plans was a big plus for him but that doesn't mean he would av failed outrightly without such plans. I felt so emmotional when he told us about their model of leadership transition. He confessed that their team we fortunate to have evolved from a dynamic crack team of Tinubu's government. 3. Fashola would have been a failure if his government is made up of no-gooders. Did you guys know that on Fashola's first term, ACN picked most of his commissioners for him; yet they gave a good account of themselve. On his second term, he told Tinubu to allow him pick most of his cabinet. Guess what, Tinubu oblige him, that he's earned it. Today he has a formidable crack team.

2. Who discovered the leadership qualities in Fashola? Lagosians? Heck-no - TINUBU. The gyst was when Tinubu told him to prepare to be the governor, and Fashola wanted to refuse, Tinubu told him it's an order he can't refuse

3. Tinubu it was that opened up the government of Lagos state to the private sector, picking industry captain as commissioners and special assistants.
