FamilyRe: If Your Husband Did A Paternity Test For Your Children? by naturalwaves: 1:42am On Nov 03, 2012
pro01: Only a dubious woman demands trust from her husband or partner. A genuinely virtuous woman earns it. . .and strives to retain it - simply by keeping her hands clean and her path straight. You don't insist on keeping male 'friends' or going on 'business trips' with your randy boss, and yet expect a sensible husband to trust you.

Any sensible man would NEVER trust any human being (let alone a woman) 100%. That's pure foolishness. If there are sufficient grounds for suspicion, then by all means a man must conduct a paternity test to clear all doubts. A truly good woman wouldn't get angry with her husband for doing that. She would get angry with herself for not doing enough to earn his trust.

Only sneaky, slimy, deceitful women (and they are in the majority) would make foolish noise or threaten divorce (you can imagine) when their serial unfaithfulness is under suspicion.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Dangote To Give Graduate Drivers Trucks After Use by naturalwaves:
dannywest: Did you read the 3 snippets from twitter attached at all before commenting? Or you are using a phone too and can't zoom? "Qualified graduate"
Loveangel: Are you blind?read the twitter message from the Rotimi guy very well before cursing some one.MUMU head like you#longhiss#
virtuoso01: Read the Twitter posts under the article and stop arguing.

He said so in very plain language there.
You all failed to read in between the lines and I'm so so dissapointed by your level of analysis. Please get the following points clearly viz;

1# It will be so so unprofessional of Dangote to disclose the intended salaries of the Drivers at such a gathering.

2# There was no place in the link where Dangote said he will pay the drivers 300K per trip. The closest thing he said to that was that, the drivers will get trip allowances aside their salaries. He also said the Trucks will become theirs after covering a haulage of 300k kilometres.

3# I know some persons will quickly refer me to the twitter snippet attatched to the story after the news. The question is, of what relevance is the snippet to the main news after a link was even provided? What is our business with the Rotimi Olawale guy?

4# The Rotimi Olawale guy with the twitter handle was only making a reported speech and it is so obvious to see that his comprehension has a serious problem. I am very sure that, he mistook the 300k kilometer distance haulage with 300k per trip. As you can see, in his second tweet, he said the drivers will own the truck after a while without even stating the minimum requirement to own one which is the 300k kilometres. This clearly shows that he thought Dangote was talking about money when he heard 300,000. He probably would have been expecting to hear a stipulated amount of years rather than kilometres if atall there was a condition. Maybe he didn't do Sciences in school or something lolz.I guess his ears were far away. All the trash he tweeted were not in the words of Dangote e.g he quoted Dangote by saying " If you drive a truck from Lagos to Kano a distance of 1100km, you'll be paid #300,000 for the haulage that's money". Dangote wouldn't have said the words "that's money" NEVER! And he wouldn't have used "if you" as if he was adrressing the drivers like they were present.
The owner of that handle is just too overzealous and calculative and looking for followers as well.

5# If Dangote pays 300k per trip to 1000 truck drivers each, how is he going to meet his $75 billion dollar worth target by 2017. This is common sense, People think! So, a Truck driver will make 300k * 4 = #1.2 million per month?undecided undecided IMPOSSICANT!!!!!!!!!! The pay might be good and encouraging but definately not as high as 300k per trip. Moreover, at an average salary of #1.2 million a month, being a Truck driver with Dangote will be one of the highest paying jobs in Nigeria. Hmmmmm. How many graduates in the Oil and gas firm and other sectors earn as much as that in a month? How many top ranking Professionals that have been working for years earn that in Nigeria in a month? Maybe Dangote wants to pay such a huge salary for Truck driving cos of the risks involved. If this is the case, then the question is, when did the life and safety of employees become so important to Nigerian Entrepreneurs? undecided undecided undecided . Anyone that believes this misinformed salary nonsense could believe anything.

6# The aim of every business man is to maximize profit and Dangote being the type of man that he is, highly prudent and financially resourceful will never never never hire graduates and pay highly ridiculous salaries for the sake of driving the trucks carefully when he can employ non graduates and pay way less than that amount.Even if the pay is 50K per trip, he will get more than enough non graduates that will even drive the Trucks with care. So, what's the point?

@ OP, you seem to know so much about this your friend and her relationship. Did your friend tell you that it is a serious problem for her? Did you seek her permission before putting her personal life on a public forum? I think you are the "YOUR FRIEND".lolz.

Back to topic.......When a lady dates a guy for a long period of time and such lady does not really have much to offer with respect to being a great fun to be with, intelligence etc coupled with the fact that the said lady has shown the guy her all and he's been there and done that front, centre and back severally (I can't just imagine....3 years...hmmmm)before the supposed time or just a couple of times or once or twice, there is a natural tendency for the guy to feel a lil bit relunctant. The truth is that, most guys generally gets fed up with things easily and that is why those that her married even requires a lot of efforts by their wives to spice up the marriage from time to time so that the man can stay in tune.

Most ladies always make a big mistake by thinking that the best way to hook a guy is always to make him get into your family and vice versa, do his laundry, cook his foods and warm his bed etc (some of them are good but it is not the ultimate). What is that thing that makes the guy look forward to seeing your friend if atall there is any? That's the spice and once that is lacking, a guy tends to lose interest. The guy might just be looking for the best way to tell your friend he is no longer interested. Your friend seems to be more desperate for the guy than he is for her. Mark my words......The guy will cheat on her if they get married now in less than a year after marriage.

NB: I assumed other hidden reasons aside the financial ones given which could be an excuse cos he's got a backup, prospect and a new job.

SailorXY: na lie, i go tell u exactly why... 1. Becuz u play with ur team A against reserves, u for no see mouth talk to united fans again thru out this season 2. Nothin for u to fall back on as excuse with the game at 3-2 hehehehehe. And wetin u think about d last min PK sef in d 94th min when added time was 3 mins?
It is obvious you do not know what a reserve team is. Man U played with a reserve team that has at least 7 notable players and you call that a reserve team. It is nobody's business whoever your manager fields provided they put on the Man U jersey.

Talking about the penalty goal, the infringement that led to the penalty was committed in the 93'+. The referee was only waiting for the ball to be cleared before blowing his whistle. It was Chelsea's supposed final attack, the ball was nodded to Ramires in d box, he shielded the ball while waiting for it to descend a lil bit before he pulls the trigger and then, he was hacked down. The penalty was converted in the 94th minute so, how was the Ref biased in all these? Do you mean he should have blown the whistle when Chelsea sent a long range ball into Man U's box? Which sane Ref does that? Moreover, Chelsea was supposed to be awarded a penalty before then when a Man U player handled Mata's shot with 2 hands in the penalty box. What about that?

Ivanovic should be in the best position to answer your question. I didn't bring him down, it was Ivanovic that did. I will PM you his email addy when I get it so you can ask him. grin grin grin

On a more serious note, that's football for you. Infringements could be committed consciously or unconsciously. A player could be consciuos physically when he is aware of the situation but may commit an infringement when he is psychologically or mentally unconscious.

Johnpaul88: By saturday , when the league matches will resume, Chelsea will understand what steep a prize they have paid to barely get past Manu in the inconsequential capital one cup. While only Ashely cole and Torres will be fresh for them against Swansea, Man u can afford the luxury of fielding a strong brand new starting XI against Arsenal. chelsea players will suffer from obvious exhaustion after toiling for 120 minutes and it may yet after them on tuesday when the guys from Donesxt comes to town for the top of group clash. All these will happen in the next 5 days. How their manager will handle these and still get the result he expects, will be interesting. I thought he threw caution to the wind to get that result from the lowest competition on offer. After all it was only capital one cup. I do not think their oil tycoon, Abramovic ,will be impressed if they ends up winning only the capital one cup.
You seem to concern yourself with things that are none of your business. From Chelsea's exhaustion to two matches in five days to Abramovich being impressed and so on. Thanks for the concern dude but let them manage their problems. The players are Professionals and they have been doing this for years, they know how to cope and manage exhaustion (if atall) as and when due. You made me laugh when you said RDM threw caution to the wind to win at all cost.I hope you saw the way Fergie was jumping allover the place for every goal scored by Man U.If he didn't need to win badly, he could have used the feeders team. Every cup counts okay? Moreover, any player that is signed into a top flight English league team is a standard one and the reason why some are usually on bench is due to the abundance of talents at the coach's disposal and not because they aren't good. It was a well deserved victory!

elampiro: What was the scores at 11 vs 11? At Stamford Bridge.

Then Young was to make it 3-2 for united and Ivanovic brought him down.
So, because Young was approaching a run up to a through ball before being brought down automatically translates to a goal if he hadn't been brought down? Your point is invalid. You may try another one. Even world class strikers could lose a one on one talkless of a Young. With the kind of speed he was running with towards the ball, he was bound to lose it by playing it over the bar most likely.

shymexx: Mikel is an amazing footballer... The first time I saw him play was when Nigeria played Ghana in London in 07/08 and they smashed us 4 - 1(our goal was a dodgy pen in the last minute) - Mikel was the only player on the field... He made Michael Essien(in his prime) look like a passenger on the field... His ball control is top notch!!

That game was crazy - we lost on the football field but we destroyed Ghanaians with our "Ghana Must Go" chants!!

Ghana, Naija - west African family! grin
grin grin Our team was hurriedly assembled few days to that match so, we lost expectedly. I watched the match on TV here in Naija and the stadium looked small. Is it a standard field or it was the camera angle that made it look like that?

Mikel Obi's transfer from Lyn Oslo to Chelsea was a tough battle between Man U and Chelsea such that the Court had to resolve it.No team will fight over a talentless player.

shymexx: Add Marin to the list...

And Mikel Obi is underrated - I have seen him play live and his ball control is out of this world...

Mikel Obi is a great footballer, trust me...
I used to laugh at people when they say MIKEL isn't a good player. It is not only about his superb ball controll skills, he's got EXCELLENT BALL SHIELDING SKILLS ( No one has ever collected the ball in between his legs without the referee blowing for an infringement), EXCELLENT BALL PASSING SKILLS and so on and so forth. As a secondary school kid, he was already playing at Plateau United FC....what does that tell you about him? He is a gifted footballer!

FamilyRe: Husbands With Security Locks On Their Phones by naturalwaves: 10:54am On Oct 31, 2012
kawkab: There are several reason why a man would like to lock his phone.

1. Organizational Policy: When you work in an organization where you use your smart phone to access organization's network or official email, you are required as a matter of organizational policy to always lock your phone and not to share the password with anyone else.

2. A man's phone may also be locked from access to third parties. In this days where our phone/mobiles contains a lot of private and security information such as PINS, Passwords, User IDs, banking details, transaction history. It is always necessary you keep your phone locked. A third party may access your phone and quickly transfer such information by SMS or bluetooth to his our phone and devices and use same for purposes that may be detrimental to you.

3. When you have children, you would notice that immediately you drop your phones, they pick up the phone and start playing games, fiddling with it or snapping off with the camera. With the nature of smartphones today and the attendant operating systems (android, nqx, symbian, iOs) that they come with they may corrupt the OS or mistakenly delete the data on it. As such most time you may need to lock such phones.

4. A phone may also be locked to prevent immediate access of the data on it when you mistakenly misplaced or loss.

5. A man may also lock his phone to hide certain activity/information from his spouse. It may not necessary be as a result of extra material activities. For examples, if you have a wife who you know would always raise a bill equivalent to the amount of money she feels you have in your bank account. Some women are also unnecessary overbearing. Any number with a female or feminine sounding name in your phone book automatically raises suspicion from her, she expects you to give a detail explanation of every female sounding name or any SMS from a female in your phone. When you have a wife that behaves like this, it may be in the interest of the family to just lock your phone to save both parties the stress of quarreling every time over such issue.

However, it is necessary to note that if your husband locks his phone always and you have something legitimate to do with his phone, then it would not be out of place to politely request that he permits you the use of his phone by giving you his password. Most ladies like to play CID/detective by always wanting to know what is in their husbands phone.

Marriage is not a hostage situation and spouses must realize that the fact that you are marriage does not mean you loose every form of individuality. Both parties needs some form of space. Trust is key to the success of a marriage and as such, if they is absolute trust in all areas a man would be willing at all time to leave his open open to the wife.

Daft thinking! No need to insult the guy cos he is correct. You can say she is more fortunate but definately not an Achiever. I guess you do not know who an Achiever is and what achievment means. To achieve means to succeed in doing something by EFFORT, SKILL or COURAGE. A critical look at Madam Patience will show that, aside the fact that she went to school which every Tom, Dk and Harry does, she has not achieved anything significant that can be pointed to. Like Yanni Chrisomalis do say, THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE COS THEY ARE IN SILENCE AND THEY INCLUDE, TRUTH, IMAGINATION, CREATIVITY, KNOWLEDGE, LOVE, KINDNESS AND COMPASSION. SO, YOU SEE, SUCCESS AND GREATNESS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MONEY OR POSSESSIONS.

I also agree with doing more shows...

But to be honest, If I had the means, this is where you tap into potentials and make name and fame for your brand. It's so unfortunate that we live in a selfish country.

If it were in a white man's country, they would have made money for GT and themselves by exposing him. How do you think Michael Jackson, W. Houston, Diana Rose etc came to lime light? Read their history.

I pray that God liberate GT and other talented artist still struggling to be heard.
Exactly! I don't know what it is with regions and genres of music. In some parts of the world, they basically listen to classical music and Contemporary Jazz. In some other places, they like Opera music and New Age. For some, Rock is the main thing. In Jamaica, it is basically Raggae and so on and so forth.

One must be extremely good to really make it in Nigeria if one wants to sing Blues, RnB, Soul and the likes. I believe if ASA could cut across with her ' Soul' kind of song, GT can make it too. I wish him all the best!
