smasher1:Bro, no woman whom you married and take proper care of would just wake up one day and abandon you at the airport. Even if she's Satan's daughter. There's an unsettled grudge in that home. |
Spiff20:It's not about him wining it, it's about standing with your own. Tomorrow they'll be the first to shout racism. Whereas they're the ones refusing to stand with their fellow African. |
riczy:The previous season was 2022. The world cup was 2022. Benzima won the title last season. What has Messi done this season to deserve that title? |
Most women who remain in abusive marriages do so because they have no where to go. This is why I'm of the opinion that a woman should sort out herself financially before getting married. That way she can easily walk out if her husband is the abusive type and still be able to fend for herself and her kids. |
Kukutente23:Something was definitely wrong in that marriage. That's very obvious. There was an unsettled grudge the woman was holding against him. I'm not supporting her in anyway for her actions cos 2 wrongs don't make a right. I just pray they resolve it cos of the kids. |
Spiff20:It's called patriotism. Tomorrow, he'll wear our national colours and this same people who voted for Messi would except him to make the country proud, whereas they're not supporting him. |
Kukutente23:I don't know what is it you're defending. But the pictures of her bruised skin is there on the front page for you to see. My point for the post I made which you choose not to see isn't the sacrifice the man made, but that he failed to settle things with her. If you beat your wife, and after a while you begin to feel bad, hold her hands and apologize to her, it won't cost you anything. Don't go out there and buy her an expensive material item; and expect that your gift should serve as an apology. It doesn't work that way. In most cases, she would still be holding that grudge against you because you never officially told her you were sorry for what you did to her. That's exactly what the man did. He sold all he had to send her to the UK without apologizing for what he did. Unfortunately, she was still holding it against him and acted when the opportunity presented itself. |

Geminita:See eh, in Nigeria just get your degree and keep developing yourself. I've seen people who studied social studies education and they're working in IT firms. I know a girl personally who studied English language education, she's currently working in UBA. What you should know is that once you're employed, you'll be trained on the job you're expected to do. Some companies train their graduate trainees for a month, some 3 months...etc. Your ability to assimilate what you're being taught during your training, and use it to successfully execute tasks is what would determine your stay in the company, not the course you studied. To your question, health education is under faculty of education, so on paper you're meant to teach health related courses in schools, or work in hospitals. But like I said earlier, that shouldn't deter you from updating your LinkedIn profile and applying for any kind of job you see online. If any employer is interested in hiring you as a graduate trainee, they would train you. So whatever you studied doesn't matter. Unless you want to remain in that field and build a career there, then you can search for jobs that would aid you in your career growth. |
10 Haggard must go. We're tired. |
The man is very foolish. How can you be brutalizing your wife and not expect any kind of reaction from her? Like you beat her every now and then, and you're planning to relocate to a country where the rights of women are seriously protected by the law, and your relocation doesn't give you goosebumps? Even Joseph in the Bible whom his brother's sold into slavery, when they discovered that he was now a powerful ruler and invited them to Egypt, they still met him secretly and pleaded with him that their father's dying wish was for him to forgive them. They knew what they did to him, and quickly apologized so that if he nursed any plans to deal with them, he'll abort immediately. This is what this man should have done man if he was wise, he should have called his wife privately and beg her for forgiveness before she travelled, if possible kneel down sef. Let her use her mouth and tell him that she has forgiven him. Cos when you treat people badly, and the tables change, don't expect them to overlook what you did to them. Besides, I don't even know how some men feel beating up a woman who can't fight back. Like you'd just keep punching and punching her, until you're tired or she collapses? That's horrible. Anyways he has until January to find something doing, if he has skills, he might get something. Once he's back on his feet, he and his wife can iron things out. |
So Nigerian delegates in FIFA didn't even vote for Oshimen. They voted for Messi. Na wa o |
And to think that we defeated this same Newcastle last season to win this cup, makes me angry. Our team last season was far stronger than what this 10 Haggard assembled this season. We finished 3rd above this Newcastle. We defeated Barca and Betis in the Europa league. Today we're celebrating a narrow 1-0 win over Copenhagen as if it's the world cup we won. Honestly, that man needs to be sacked. |
Double post. |
With our fluctuating Naira, sometimes the discrepancy might be due to factors beyond your control. If that's the case, just be honest and tell them why the correct price differs from their expectations. |
If you carry out a study on 100 average earning employees, and tell them to feel free to express themselves about their working conditions, their employer and their net pay. At the end of your study, you'll discover that more than 99% of the feedback you'd get from the workers would be against their employers. The average Nigerian employee hates his employer. |
Re-edit your list, and cut it down to like 200k. If you're the only one barbing, what do you need 4 clippers for? What do you need 2 generators for? You need to go back to that your list and remove those things you wouldn't need urgently. The goal is to open the shop, once it's opened, you can use proceedings from it to get the remaining things on that list. |
Fhaze:Build your CV, go into IT. Today, you can learn the basics of data analysis, programming, M360...etc, via virtual classes. Once you attain these knowledge, include them all on your updated LinkedIn CV. I'm sure that employers would reach out to you. The goal is to sell yourself properly. |
EyeCumInPiss:In 2016 a tipper of sand in Ezzamgbo was between 6-8k depending on your bargaining power and how many trips you're buying. Today it's 40k and people are still defending this administration. |
Let's assume that Israel is an occupying state, does that give Hamas the right to invade and kill them. If you visit someone, and he attacks you in his house with a knife for no reason, won't you defend yourself? Would you allow him kill you simply because you're in his house? Russia are beginning to sound like Tinubu's supporters. |
Crumbian:I don't use that meter. But some prepaid meters becomes difficult to load when you totally exhaust the units. A friend once shared a similar problem with me on how he was having problems recharging after he exhausted his units, I advised him to always top-up whenever his units drops below 20. That he shouldn't allow it get to 0.00. Ever since then, he told me he hasn't encountered any problems in recharging the meter. So I'll suggest you do the same. But first you have to take it back to whoever issued it for you, let them assist you in loading the token you bought. Once they do, ensure you don't allow the units finish completely before recharging. If you don't want the headache of recharging every now and then, you can buy units in bulk. Say like 10-20k. That should keep you going for up to 3weeks. |
By January next year, this same man would deny ever making such statement. |
Imagine Tinubu whom his wife said they're already wealthy and don't need Nigeria's money is budgeting over 25bn (the highest ever) for aircraft. We don't have functional refineries, we're still struggling to generate 4000MW, Naira keeps falling in an economy that literally survives on importation, hardship is spreading like Ebola, yet our leaders are living in luxury. And some people would tell us to pray for Nigeria, I can't waste my prayers. If Nigerians want good governance, they should vote in the right people. |
Truvelisback:Only illiterates behave that way. Civilization has normalized the gender gap, so whether you have a son or daughter, both can still get to the peak of their career provided you play your supportive role as a parent. For me, once my kids reach 3 whether they're all girls, or all boys or mixed, I'm done. I'll just focus on giving them the best. I can't imagine myself having 12 kids in the name of looking for a male child. That's absurd. |
pocohantas:They're my brothers based on what? |
I'm surprised Palavar hasn't entered yet. Fela made that word sound like an English word. |
pocohantas:Lol...una own na to emotionally support una gender without giving room for reasoning. 🥴 If you have a daughter or someone very dear to you dating a Yahoo boy, would you encourage her? I'm sure you'll do everything in your power to ensure that such relationship doesn't see the light of day. I'm against fraud, and I'm against girls dating fraudsters, I'm not driven by emotions to support my gender, I know where I stand. |
This is commendable. The traffic at that yaba market was horrible if you're coming from Ojuelegba. Now one can easily use the flyover and cross that busy market within minutes. |
Most Nigerian employers derive pleasure in exploiting their employees, their wickedness is based on the ever increasing job loss and harsh economy. So according to them, you should be grateful that you're even seeing peanuts to take home as a good number of the populace are jobless. To your topic, your employer doesn't respect you. He doesn't care about whether or not you have needs to take care of. He doesn't care if you die tomorrow. He's just out to use you to keep his school running. My advice...don't be his slave. Resign honourably and leave. I can assure you that there are private schools out there that can pay you 5 times that amount. Stop acting like you don't have a choice. You do, so choose to leave. |
Truvelisback:This is a much better explanation. I'd go with the vision. That's what he most likely had. |
